This was a rather odd one for me. Wet, the melon, chili pepper, and juniper were predominant. It was green and sharp with a little bit of spice and faintly aquatic feeling. As it settles, the tobacco comes out more and smooths the sharp edges, while the honey mellows the whole blend out. I wouldn't call this a masculine scent, but it's gender-neutral. It's relatively light as well. I think it would make a really good summer blend. The overall impression I was left with here is light, and slightly spicy, whilst being smooth and a little green.

I agree with everyone that this was much like Love's Philosophy and Opuhi. There was a creaminess to the vanilla and the ginger provided quite a lot of spice here. There was something foody about it for me in the wet stages that didn't agree with me. I like it, but I think I'll be passing it on.

This was a very herbal lavender. Green and purple. Something was a little sharp here, but the blend was calming nonetheless. I fell asleep almost immediately after my head hit the pillow (not something that happened when I tried TKO), and I had dreams, but they weren't nightmares. All in all, this blend worked for me!

The plum was pretty predominant on me throughout the entire wear. Sweet, and a little juicy. The musk came out later in the drydown and grounded the plum quite nicely. This was sweet, but it wasn't cloying. The carnation added a bit of floral spice, but never really came out in force. Overall, this was sweet and fruity, with a bit of an edge. I liked it, but I think I tend to wear scents a little darker.

Wet, this is smooth woods and.... paint thinner? There is an oddly "chemical" smell here that I can't quite decipher. As it dries, the sharp smell goes away and I'm left with smooth woods and dark fruits. This isn't necessarily juicy, like most blends containing fruit notes go on my skin, but it's a little sweeter than I usually like my scents. The woods help prevent this from going to girly. I like it, but I don't see myself reaching for it very often.

I got the play doh note when I applied this. I think there was honey in here too, but it couldn't save the blend for me. I waited and waited but the play doh smell just stuck around!

Alright, this went sickly sweet on me. The beer was a little too "beer-y" as well. Overall, this was thick and smoky and sweet. Not really what I was looking for. I think the tar was taking on a slightly sharp tone as well. This just didn't work on me.

Could it be Midwinter's Eve 07? Maybe the H is actually an M?

BLASTED skin chemistry!! Rose, that is all I got. I thought maybe there were enough notes to drown it out. But no. Right from skin contact this blend went all rose for me. And stayed that way. There was no reprieve in the drydown. All ROSE all the time. GAH! Stupid skin.

I was frimped this, and because I try everything that crosses my path, I put it on. And, I amp rose. Or turn it to ammonia depending on the blend. This went ammonia on me. No, not a keeper.

OH GOOD GODS GETITOFF!!! This went all baby diaper on me. That is all.

This is a slutty berry! I don't really like berry scents very much but this one is totally wearable. Berry, with the leather and cognac undertones, providing a smooth boozy base. I could faintly detect a weird note at the beginning of wear, which I am taking to be the paper bag. Nice, but I don't know how often I would reach for it, so I may be passing this on.

This is very light and pretty on me. Almost aquatic feeling. The musk is clear and bright, the coconut adds a kick of sweetness. This is very feminine, and dries down to a creamy sweet scent. Not one I would wear, but nice!

This was lighter than I was expecting it to be. And on my skin this was reminiscent of a lighter version of Hunger - swap out the Black Narcissus in Hunger for Amber and you've got it. It was a really beautiful scent, the orange blossom and vanilla combination were particularly stunning here, but I like my scents with a bit of an edge, so I prefer Hunger. Also, late in the drydown, this blend took a weird turn on my skin. It went almost musty and *ahem* like .

During the wet stages this blend was almost uncomfortably floral and perfume-y on me. I should add here that florals and I tend not to get along. The scent improved for me a lot during the drydown though. The woodmoss/cedar/vanilla/musk combo came out and managed to subdue the florals, leaving a clean sweet musk scent. The end result was nice, but the wet stages were just too cloyingly floral for me to get though.

::cough:: Oh! Hello VETIVER! How nice of you to smack me in the face. After a couple minutes of choking vetiver, it seems to recede a little and the myrrh comes out. Wow! This is a gorgeous myrrh. Sweet and incense-y. I'm a myrrh fiend so this is just awesome. However, I think I may prefer Priala as a myrrh scent. The vetiver makes this blend a little too dry for me.

I thought this would be absolute win on me when I managed to score a decant of this in a swap. Unfortunately not. On me something goes really sickly sweet here. I'm not entirely sure what it is because all of these notes love me. It just went cloying and sickly. I'll be passing this one on. At least I don't have to try and hunt down more of this!

As a myrrh and honey lover, this scent put me right over the edge. This was AWESOME!!! The myrrh was smoky, and the honey was sweet, but with depth. The herbs added a bit of an unexpected twist on the whole blend but really just added to the complexity of the whole thing. I agree with a previous poster that said it was dark and golden. I had always thought those two statement were mutually exclusive but clearly not. My fiance took a sniff and asked for the name. When I told him he made a face and I asked why. He said it should be called . I wasn't sure if that was a good thing at first, but judging by the way he's been following me around all day, I'm going to say yes.

On me this is SWEET! Cherry predominated, but it wasn't tart or juicy. The wood smoothed it out. The warm leather note was gorgeous and the smoke was not overpowering in the slightest. Sweet tobacco note was present as well. This was nice, and I'm glad I got to try it, but I don't need to hunt down any more, and I will probably be passing this one on.

Beaver Moon 05 / Beaver'versary! Just get it! -
Alright, wet this is predominantly tea and cocoa. Nice and smooth. Mildly sweet. As it dries, the tonka comes out and the musk grounds this blend beautifully. And then... why hellloooooo mandarin. I don't remember inviting you to the party. See mandarin and I have this understanding. I don't bother her, she doesn't bitchslap me across the nose and force the nausea on me. Unfortunately, I strayed too far into her territory - and then the grossness ensued. I really should stop trying to mend the relationship. We're clearly not right for each other.

I really thought this was going to be made of win on me, but unfortunately, that was not the case. Right from the get-go, frankincense was dominating the blend. The saffron and cardamom didn't show up until much, much later. In the wet stages, the hyssop and cypress were at the forefront of the blend, creating a green sharp facet to the scent. During the drydown, the myrrh, honey and red musk smooth the blend out, but are unable to overpower the frankincense (which turns plasticy on my skin).

This started out primarily dragon's blood and smoke on me. As it dried, the cassia came out blazing. The patchouli was more present in the drydown as well, grounding the scent a bit. This turned into quite the spice blend. The myrrh came out much later in the drydown, and the pomegranate never showed up. Overall, this was a nice smoky spice, but there are other spice based blends I favour more.

I seem to have trouble with the lab's leather note sometimes. In some blends it behaves, and in others it smell sharp like fresh patent leather (even through the description clearly states "cracked"). This is what happened here. The paper and tobacco smell divine, unfortunately the leather note here ruins it for me.
