I tried the 2003 Spooky, that being said I think 05' Spooky is so much better! Its less coconut and more minty cocoa vanilla. The coconut is in this but its not screaming at me and everyone else in the room. Its not like The Star to me either. The Star is more of a tropical coconut, Spooky is minty (and almost has a Dirt quality to it, or at least the teeniest amount of cedar) the mint LASTS. I really do love this and I was worried about it being too overpowering. Beth did a great job on this one. Again, this is a happy scent, I could see myself wearing this alot, its too bad its not ever going to be available again!!!

1st impression: Cinnamon, anise, cardamom maybe? Smells similiar to Tum but better, maybe some light cedar or some kind of wood. This is a dusty herbal so far. As I wear it 1st hour: It really does change, one minute I'm thinking it is an old dusty library sort of smell then it shifts in another direction, a bright light citrus (but I don't want to say citrus, maybe bergamot? Lemonbalm? Frankincense?) Oh how lovely this is getting. ...

This is pretty. I smell rose, jasmine and/or Honeysuckle, maybe even some green in there. Its nice and strong on me. I ordered this because I love Hummingbirds, and this would be the smell of a hummingbird to me. Thats what I think of when I wear this. That it smells like the sweet nectar of many flowers with rose and Honeysuckle leading the pack.

Another *Thank you* to quantum spice for trading with me to get to try out Pumpkin King. At first when I put it on, I can smell pumkin, a very nice patchouli and some kind of mint. Yes a mint, its not prominant but its making me wonder, *Is* there mint in this(pine maybe)? Its spicy, its not as obtrusive as Samhain and not nearly as buttery as Jack. It is pleasing, maybe there is some clove in this as well. Its as if Yuletide and Samhain had a child and its name is Pumpkin King. ETA Ah now after an hour I can smell the animal in this, its giving me a bit of a headache. Ah it started out well!

I was scared at first of the coconut mentioned being in The Star, but from such great reviews how could I resist trying it ?! I'm so glad I ordered this. Not only does this smell of a lovely light cocoa, coconut, vanilla, mint with a teeny amount of gardenia it makes me feel like the center of attention, really! I NEED to have a 10ml bottle of this in fact I could bathe in The Star its that good. I feel blessed that it is not a limited edition because it is THAT good. Next order this is going on, top priority. Its not a strong overpowering scent, its light, if it where a color I would say pink with silver sparkles and powdered blue lining. If it were a fabric it would be Microsuede as soft as silk but as tough as leather. The scent is of The Star and Beth did a great job in helping me interpret the card by making this blend. I LOVE THIS.

I really didnt expect to like this as much as I do from the description. This is very close to the smell of Ice Queen but without so much musk. Its crisp, invigorating. I can feel the mint and Eucalyptus, very beautiful. Its something I could justify slathering all over myself in the summer just to feel the cool breath of snow on my skin. Lotus and I don't usually agree, but in this blend it works. I really can see myself wearing this alot.

I get corrected ALOT because I pronounce it how it is spelled. Then again I have a habit of pronouncing alot of words how they are spelled. I feel weird using an accent I don't normally use and especially if I'm not in(or from) the country where it originated from.

This smells like candy, or a new strawberry shortcake doll. If I was to say what I thought was in it before reading the description, I would say strawberrys chocolate and musk, maybe a bit of peppermint. This is a really lovely smell. The juniper isnt overpowering on me like juniper can be, it doesnt smell like juniper at all. It does make me think of a dog, not the scent of a dog, but the feeling a dog can bring you. In fact this really makes me want a dog.

Hmm Ace of Swords... On me I first get a lemongrass jasmine scent. Its very light (air, makes sense). Maybe this does have a bit of white sandalwood in it too. It has that smoky incense feel to it after a few minutes. This would be a great slathering perfume but it smells just fine with a dab here and there. I'd say this lasted about 4 hours on me. I was a bit surprized since it is a light aroma, that the lasting power was still going on after a few hours.

Eoywin Kindly sent me a sample of All Saints to try out. At first It has a hint of chocolate, but it doesnt last. It really has that thick mryyh smell to it. Oh and the initial Cinnamon that floats lightly in the backround. I don't really smell flowers but it has an aqautic feel to it. This really blends together so well. After an hour or so it has a more powdery feel to it. Its there after 2 hours but is very light. I'm happy to have tried this but I can't imagine wearing this too often. I need to add that this is one of those, the more you try the more you like kinda scents. I still have that generous imp left because this baby is steerong!! If this comes back I will be getting a 5ml!!

This was a Xmas gift from a friend. I would have never picked this myself but I am finding out that I like it! At first its a sweet cocoa smell, then the cherry steps up a bit. I can smell oranges but its not at all what you'd think it would smell like. These notes go so well together and it doesnt feel too overpowering to me. It DOES last a good 4 hours on my skin and has a very light floral feel to it. Very Yum!

Bluebeard smells to me like sea water and the soggy wood of a ship. Its not really something I like, in fact it brings to mind going fishing in the sea and getting sick. I have no idea where this comes from. Then it gets musky, hmm this one is a bit odd.It really does capture Bluebeard though.

I love this! Its making me crave a shot of anisette, this is minty and full of black licorice. Dead on Absinthe. Not to mention that I love the smell of cardamom. If you can't get ahold of some absinthe, grab a bottle of anisette, the labs Absinthe smells just like it! This fades into a softer scent, I can see how some may say it is soapy but it smells more sweet to me. A beautiful, very dejvu inducing scent!

I love cinnamon and frankincense so I Love Faustus. the Violet gives it a light floral smell and in this oil blend it works so well. It is very long lasting and strong. No need to slather this stuff on because a small amount smells really good. This goes on my big bottle list.

Yuletide smells to me like a mix of cinnamon, clove and peppermint. This smells alot different than last years. I think the 04 version is better. Maybe my nose has changed a bit so I like it more. This one is very wonderful and lasts about 2-3 hours before the need to reapply. YUM

Theres berry peppermint coming out of the bottle. As it becomes one with my skin it seems to magnify. I feel the cool winter breeze in this but theres that berry that seems to be making it unenjoyable. It almost has a spicey berry note in this, but I'm not sure what that is. This is a very wonderful perfume for someone else, not me. I want to enjoy it but the berry keeps slapping me in the face. edited to add, its really good, I think I need to be in the right mood to wear it.

This is ROSE. This is the most perfect rose scent I have ever tried. If you go out into the garden early in the morning. Smell the brightest newest red rose you can find and this is what Rose Red smells like. She stays true on my skin, it reminds me of waking up early and picking roses!!! I'm kicking myself for not trying this last year and hugging myself for getting a bottle in 2004! Thank you BETH!!!

Out of the bottle I could really smell the cherry as mentioned before. Once I put it on my wrists I could smelll the cherry Wood used in this. In fact it reminded me of Woodshop I took back in High School. The smells of the classroom. Tobacco, Leather and wood. Its not like any other wood (ex sandalwood, cedar) but the smell of expensive cherry wood. Its a light smoky woodsy kinda scent. There is the hints of leather and tobacco in there as well. It is very pleasant and more feminine than I originally thought it would be. This one lasts a good long time too, it lasted a good part of the day for me.

This is light and sweet. I love the smell of Orchids in this. It almost has a candy scent ot it, like bubblegum. It is a very fun scent in a sweet girlish way. I don't smell the jasmine so much. Usually that is the first scent that jumps out to me but not in this blend. There is the orchid and plum very noticable, with the daffodil being very pretty in the backround. I smell a small amount of musk, but it is very light. I can imagine slathing this on because it is so beautiful and light.

Out of the bottle I can defintaly smell the EggNog. Once I aplly it to my skin it is a Boozy heavy cream. Its like rum/cream filled white chocolate. Its got that vanilla flavor to it. It stays on me for about an hour with which I need to reapply. It is o so tasty through all of its stages. Very true to its name. I felt compelled to add that Eggnog is my new oil for my burner, It makes the whole room smell like hot Eggnog.

Oh, Yeah this is mistletoe. Its got that pine tree smell splashed with a bitter berry. It really smells like the Season. It comes on strong and it morfs into something sweet and spicey. Theres a hotness in this too. I can't say the scent lasts too long, It seems to fade after a couple hours. This one is a winner though and mixes oh so well with Ice Queen.

Ice Queen, I love you, no wait I hate you, Oh YES, I love you! When I first opened the bottle and got a whif she was crisp and clean with a dark voice. She was still beautiful after the first application on my flesh, as said before it reminded me of something, its almost like the perfume CK1 but with more pear. The second time I wore this brought Ken on like a dog. He couldnt stop sniffing me. "you smell so good, did you spill some?" I had only applied a small amount (no slathering needed) He loves it on me, Ice Queen ain't frigid, shes warmth surrounded by an Icey breeze in the dead of winter. The note as far as I can tell is a bit of pear, light musk, possibly cereus, maybe something like ginseng, something grown in the dark. Very beautiful, theres almost a buttery quality that you get with Snow white , but add some musk and pear. I also want to add that it does smell foresty, like trees, an early morning walk as the Sun rises through the fog.

At first when I put it on I smelled cloves, maybe some cinnamon. It morfs Like said above flower chamomile or carnations. It is almost creamy, the clove is still there, it came on strong but is now settling in the darkness. I really like this, its long lasting too. Frankincense and amber or something that gives it that texture. Really beautiful. Hopefully I'm not saying this too soon but it may just be my favorite of the Stations of the Sun 4. There is a note that I just can't place, it gives it a masculine feel while being nurturing. Definatley unisex. Very beautiful. Wonderful.
