I mix this into unscented moisturizer and slather it all over my body. It smells amazing, blackberry and amber are quite strong, but it seems to me that there is some white musk and cedar in there as well. My roommate always compliments me when I come out after applying. Winter Maiden, apply directly to body!

I get a lot of mandarin and yuzu from this, but not a lot of black tea or ambergris. There is an odd sort of dirt smell coming through, which I suspect is the tuberose. In the bottle this smelled lovely and sweet, but I don't get that sweetness on my skin. I will have to put this in the swap pile.

In the bottle this is very licorice and gaufrettes... there is a definite foody bent. Not the best news for me, because my skin does not like the cookies and batter and whatnot... HOWEVER! Once applied and after about 20 minutes, Le Père becomes a delicious perfect blend of leather, licorice, a sweet undertone and a tiny bit of coal dust. This stuff is like a miracle on my skin. I tried it at December Will Call and only realized after I left that I was in love... Dark Alice tracked me down a bottle and I'm forever grateful... seriously, seriously, serious delicious and perfectly blended scent!

If your friend is waiting for a Click'N'Ship, I'd give it another week before she contacts the lab. Orders usually take about 3 weeks or more to process especially when there is a high volume of orders. With the end of the Yule line and the start of the Lupercalia (plus a Lunacy, a 13 and a forum only) the lab is pretty swamped right now. Plus, the "Shipped" status on CCnow could last a very long time or a short time--it depends!

Is it possible to place an order through CCNow and then add to it with a PayPal payment? Essentially I am performing some chores for my parents and they are paying me in BPAL, but I would like to add to the order with some of my own wants as well.

I won this from an eBay auction. It's a light floral, citrus musk scent. I get a sweet creaminess that is light and musky. In the bottle there is a fresh squeeze of orange or kumquat, but it disappears on my skin. It's so faint that I get almost no throw. It's pretty, but I think I'll put it in the swap pile.

Wet in bottle - Mmm, a minty tea lemongrass scent that is tempered with the sweetness of the sugarcane and orange blossom. Wet on skin - Very similar to the bottle, although the mint is lighter and the lemongrass a bit stronger. Dry on skin - I get a lemony/tea note similar to Dorian, but this is a more feminine version with the orange blossom and sugar cane. I get almost no honey; it is well blended with the tea note. I'm glad I got this, it's sweet, sexy and comforting all at the same time.

Egg Nog Latte lives up to all its promise... it smells like thick, syrupy coffee and egg nog! It's delicious and spicy. It didn't turn stinky or strange like some other cream scents do on my skin. I wish it lasted a little longer than it did, but I'm honored to have a bottle just the same.

Sensual, sibilant, sexual and hypnotic: Arabian musk and exotic spices slinking through Egyptian amber, enticing vanilla, and a serpentine blend of black plum, labdanum, ambrette, benzoin and black coconut. I picked up a bottle of Snake Charmer: Resurrected unsniffed at Will Call because I had too much to sniff anyway, and I had heard so much about it as the Holy Grail of BPAL. When I sniffed it in the bottle and tried it out fresh, it came up a little funny, similar to the fresh patchouli leaf scent that I got from fresh Mme Moriarty. I decided to let it sit and age for a while (6 weeks in fact). Boy, am I glad I did! I now get a sexy, sultry scent that is similar to the Snake Oil/Mme Moriarty blend that others have mentioned. I get spices, coconut, vanilla and a very faint fruity undertone that keeps things interesting. It's musky and mysterious and exotic. I'm wearing it out tonight, so watch out, boys!

In the bottle this smelled a little sharp to me, like fresh patchouli. After hearing all the wonderful reviews from people, however, I went ahead and daubed some on my wrists. When wet it still smelled like fresh patchouli, but mellowed and not so sharp. I got a little bit of vanilla but not a lot. No plum or musk. After about 20 minutes of settling, the red musk and vanilla really come into their own. After a few hours of wear, this is a vanilla, musky, sexy patchouli plum of a scent. It's pure amazing. Wrist-nibbling, man-catching deliciousness. Definitely a new favorite! I'm sure this will age amazingly as well, it's about 6 weeks aged currently.

Wet in imp - Almond, lotus, myrrh and cardamom. Sweet and mysterious. Wet on skin - Almond with some more of the spices coming through, particularly cardamom. A tiny hint of lotus. No amber yer, thankfully. Dry on skin - This has mellowed to a wonderfully musky vanilla spicy scent. Similar to Morocco, with the spices and vanilla, but more cardamom and saffron almond. Delicious! A full bottle for sure.

Wet in imp - Dark and herbally fresh. I get the carrot and parsley as well as the sage. Wet on skin - I get the morning glory now, as well as the vegetables, but there's a slightly sour smell coming through, not sure what it is. Dry on skin - Morning Glory and a slightly sour cat pee scent. Swap!

I split a fan pack so I could get this scent and I'm so glad that I did. It has the grass/flowers note from Summer Summoning Spectacular but it's pure in this one, no coffee or incense. It smells like sweet grass clippings and blooming flowers. It's fresh and beautiful and I love it! It is similar to A Blade of Grass, but with more of a sweeter tinge--no dried leaves.

This is the resurrected "Beaver'versary" scent! Wet in bottle - Strawberry cheesecake! Wet on skin - Strawberry cheesecake, heavy on the strawberry. Dry on skin - Light strawberry cheesecake. Fruity and fun.

This is one of those rare BPAL oils that smells exactly the same on me as it did in the bottle--like a freshly cut blood red rose! My roommate and I agreed that this smells just like standing in a rose garden, or pressing your face into a big bouquet! It is very similar to the atmospheric spray The Queen's Croquet Ground, but this one smells more like a red rose to me, very strong and powerful. It's one of the few rose notes that doesn't go sour or powdery on me too! I wore it outside to shovel the driveway and I kept getting delicious whiffs of it. Yummy!

This was the real winner for me, a fresh sweet green note that didn't turn green peppery like A Blade of Grass. Very pleasant. The kiwi is not strong, but adds a pleasant fruit note to the grasses.

In the bottle this smelled like sinister gingerbread cookies, and my friend who was with me pronounced it "super Christmassy". On me it smells a bit like bitter herbs and spices, not too gingerbread-y. The musk is definitely taking a front seat to the trampled gingerbread.

I got no candy canes at all in the bottle, mostly a blood element and a chilliness. On me this smells like pine, soap and blood.

Red, fruity musk and a slight odd barley note, which usually comes in with red ginger for me. I was disappointed, because I had high hopes for this one as red musk is usually a winner. It has also disappeared very quickly on me.

This smells like sweet cupcakes in the bottle, with a hint of grapefruit. On me it smells like strawberry cupcakes, straight up foodie. I didn't get any of the carnation.

Very strong leather element in the bottle, but on my skin smells quite pleasantly masculine. I get a leathery element with kind of a light cologne similar to Herbert West or Mole. It took a few hours of dry down to get to this point, however. At first the leather was very strong and smoky.

Wet in bottle - Roses and tobacco, and an undertone of spices and wood. There is the tiniest hint of the agave nectar. Overall this doesn’t smell like I thought it would but it smells nice in the bottle. Wet on skin - Spicy roses and tobacco with wood. Dry on skin - Wow I think I finally found a rose blend that works on me! The roses are dark and sweet, not cloying and powdery like they usually are. I think they are being tempered by the obacco, spices and agave nectar. The more I sniff it the tastier it gets.

Wet in bottle - Definitely a leafy green freshness. It reminds me of the Chaos Theory I got that has a tinge of green peppers. I get that same peppery undertone from this scent. Wet on skin - A bright, green freshness on my skin, like green peppers. Dry on skin - A grassy, leafy, pepper note that smells cool and fresh. This still smells an awful lot like my Chaos Theory, though, so I might swap this away.

Wet in bottle - Snow, coconut and light flowers. It’s fresh and absolutely delicious. Wet on skin - Coconut and a strange dusty aroma! Noo! Please get better, Snow White! Dry on skin - A sort of dusty, dry coconut smell that reminds me of sunscreen. This is tragic. I think I will let it rest for a while and try it again. Right now it is just not what I expected at all!
