You're welcome, LadyLuckless! I love the Dia de los Muertos one. It's so jolly!

Man, I want the color Mircalla! I have the black and white version, however, along with Lambs-Wool.

For the first 45 minutes of wearing, Sarah yields an odd sour/damp/dirt smell that is slightly soapy (the ozone). Once this 45 minute period is over, it is an amazing sweet, musky scent that is at the same time cold and remote. This is a gorgeous scent on me and I am hoping that with some aging, I can reduce the soapy lead in.

This is an amazing leather scent. The leather is tempered by a grassy and dusty note that isn't sharp, rather complimentary. It's masculine yet works on me as well. It is incredible and I'm so glad I was able to track down a bottle. I get very little woodsmoke or blood, just a sage-y, dust-y LEATHAHHHHH scent.

The Phantom Cow of Yerba Buena Island
gingiemay replied to midnight_aeval's topic in Event Exclusive Oils
Milky herbal in bottle, but a beautiful creamy fresh blend on my skin. It's cool and slightly sweet. Mysterious. It also prompted me to make a terrible joke: How does a phantom cow moo? It goes "moo-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o!" (like a ghost noise, but mooing). I was worried about the milk note turning sour, but it doesn't. Just smells yummy. -
Usually my skin amps leather to high heaven in a good way, but I got no leather from this. Patchouli is also usually a delight on me, but this time nothing. Instead I get smoky baby powder, like vetiver baby powder, which turns into... baby powder. It's definitely not a win for me. Swap pile away.

This is a beautiful scent, the red current, blackberry and honey blend together to provide a gorgeous and sexy fruit/honey/musky blend. The golden amber is playing very nicely with my skin and is not turning this to powder. The pink pepper is not that noticable, but gives a very lightly spicy tinge. This is what I hoped Berry Moon would be on me!

The red musk is very strong in the bottle, along with the pomegranate and a hint of melon. I get almost no orange blossom in sniffing. On my skin the red musk blends very nicely with the pomegranate and orange blossom. It has become quite faint, though, after about two hours of wear. Lovely and sexy but not as stunning as other red musk blends on me.

Dirt, grass and daisies. A lovely, fresh yet grounding scent. It's soft and not piercing in the slightest. My roommate loves this one, as well.

Worn leather, dusty roads and dried grasses. Masculine and yummy.

In the bottle this is a strong red musk, melon and pomegranate scent, on my skin it's red musk and cherry. The blood orange is light, but it's there. The myrrh provides a solid base that keeps it from getting too fruity.

Herbal, medicinal, green/brown plant scent. It is one of the oddest scents I have ever put on my body and yet I like it. It does give the impression of decaying plant matter, but making it palatable on the skin at hte same time. There is a sharp element to the scent as well, but I don't get any sweet hints. Just heavy, rooty plants.

In the bottle there is a fruity base with the rhubarb and the currant but with a funny musty undertone which must be the mushroom. On my skin, there is a 20 minute period of horrible cat pee, but then it goes away and I am left with a faint plastic-y, fruity musty scent. Alas, Motley, we were not meant to be.

This is definitely a soft, velvety scent. The patchouli is light and merely strengthens the overall symphony of notes happening, but it isn't WHOAGOSH PATCHOULI like some other blends I have. I don't get the fruity vibe others have been getting, but there is a sweet tinge to the scent on my skin. Mostly I get the orris, ambergris, laubdanam and neroli. This is very well blended and it is hard to pick out specific notes. Very pretty but could be gender neutral as well.

Stimulating Sassafras Strengthener

A yummy, sexy version of root beer and coca-cola. It almost approximates aged Snake Oil for me, as mine has that root beer-y, coke-y fizzy element. Definitely a bottle worthy scent for me! -
Wet in bottle: Skin musk, pine and tobacco. Wet on skin - Mostly pine and a bitter tobacco with a tiny undertone of skin musk. Dry on skin - Wow, just wow. Everything has melded together perfectly. The pine and tobacco have melded with vanilla and honey become a sweet complement to the skin musk. This is pure sexy, pure gorgeousness. This is my raison d'etre, my holy grail... I think it will become my signature. Just brilliant.

This is a gorgeous light, musky sandalwood scent with a tinge of floral. It smells like a more traditional perfume, but is lovely and ethereal. I'm definitely going back to get a bottle!

In the bottle there is a strong whiskey, coffee and parchment smell. The coffee lasts about 20 minutes on me and then goes for a funny alcoholic, sour dust smell, similar to the dust note in Ichabod Crane. Good thing I only tested this at Healthy Living; it just smells very odd on me.

A gorgeous creamy, wheaty scent that has a similar cool chill to it as Snow White. This isn't floral, but it smells fresh and lovely. Good throw as well.

... In Neil's words, "'Sunbird' smells like resin and deserts and the phoenix." Wet in bottle: Resins, deserts, a hint of earthy patchouli and something that reminds me of liniment. Wet on skin - Dusty, dry, desert sand, resin and patchouli/liniment. Very evocative. Dry on skin - Everything has melded together nicely to form a dry and dusty desert scent that has a richer, deeper tone with the patchouli/resin element. Lovely.

Wet in bottle: Cherry, brownish musk, a hint of dragon's blood, a tiny bit of mint and lunar oils. Wet on skin - Faintly cherry and a little bit herby sour. I want to see what the dry down becomes. Dry on skin - Cinnamon, cherries, dragon's blood and a weird herby thinge that must be the lunar oils. I should have known that the lunar oils would go funky on me.
-
Wet in bottle: Blackberry, blueberry, honey and a light musk, but not of the sharp, white variety, more like a pink or green. Wet on skin - blueberries, blackberries and raspberries, similar to Crawdad Dream, with that greeny musky undertone. This is a little fresher smelling than Crawdad. Dry on skin - There is the faintest sour scent that appears and then disappears after about 30 minutes. There is a faint honey-musk-berries but it disappears so fast. I'll have to hold this for a month or so and retest it.

A different take from last year, but I'm digging it. Can't wait to get mine!

Where is my order? What is Click N Ship? How long does this take?

Lawn Gnome is backordered, but I don't think Nonae Caprotina is Maia. -
Here's a photo of the Sachs and Violens labels (just click on that 1st photo and it will expand). They are different from the postcard, but look great!
