Ooooohhhh!! I love rose! In the bottle: Powdery, papery, slightly creamy rose. If Peacock Queen and Katrina Van Tassel morphed. beautiful. Wet: I smell burned sugar and roses. The sugar in this is't just sweet as it is in Faith. This is almost caramel. This is true, cooked candided powdery rose water. My skin chemistry is very strange. Dry: The sugar fades and I'm loeft with pure true, sweet rose. Beautiful and feminine. Overall: Like her sister Faith, Hope doesn't last long and doesn't have a lot of throw. But both are lovely. This scent does morph, unlike her sister. But true, sweet roses can never go wrong on my skin!

This scent is purely sugared violets. Sweet, candided purple flowers. Doesn't last long, and doesn't have a large throw (as violet usually does). But it's a lovely simple scent. Just as the description. No morphing. From bottle to drydown, candied violets. Lovely!!

Heady magnolia and honeyed peaches. In the bottle: Creamy peaches and honey. I can't really smell magnolia, although I don't really know what Magnolia is supposed to smell. Wet: Peaches and Cream with a bit of honey. Just that. No strange morphing. But a natural peaches and cream, not artificial candy flavor. Dry: Oooohh! The magnolia comes out! Luscious, beautiful, sweet and heady. I'm loving this! Overall: This is what I wanted/expected peach moon to smell like! Reminds me of a peachy katrina Van Tassel. Peaches and Creamy sweet lush Magnolia. Delicious and lovely and feminine and light and lasts all day and I can only say good things about this scent.

In the imp: Incense and sweet pine/evergreen/foresty/woody and lots and lots of sap! Wet: Heavy sweet sap, pine bark, very woody. Dark, heavy musk. Something else...artificial... No, it's the bergamot. Smells like incense, sweet heavy incense. Reminds me of Ozymandias. It's less feminine, though. Dry: Doesn't change much from wet to dry. A little powdery sweet now, but still heavy and dark. Very close to the skin. Feels like I smell like sap and bark, not like I'm wearing perfume/oil. Overall: Doesn't have a lot of throw. It's too close to the skin. I have to really sniff my wrist to smell it, and when I do, it's really heavy and dark and sweet and musky. It is a lovely dark scent, but not really my taste.

In the imp: Wooden florals and a bit of dirt. Definite lilies. Wet: Reminds me of Daylilies at the Bottom of the Stairs. Well, it's water lilies, green grass, more water, a bot of wood. Dry: Water lilies and lipstick. A bit of wood. Just like Dayliles at the bottom of the stairs...with powdery lipstick... Overall: I love this scent! Daylilies is one of my favorite scents and the powderiness makes it that much better! I want a bottle.

In the imp: Marzipan almonds and lemon cake. With alcohol. I want to eat it not wear it! Yum! Wet: More of the honey, meady, sweetness is coming out, but definite almods. Dry: Boozy honey with a bit of nut cake and lemons. I love love love honey and I'm so glad the marzipan smell stays in the background and the honey mead ends up being the prominent note! Overall: I like it in the imp, but more for a candle or room scent for the holidays. But on the dry down I love it!! Boozy honey yumminess! Will keep the imp.

In the imp: Dirty feet smelling lavender and minty ash.... hum... Wet: The feet smell goes away and it's all lavender and mint. Dry: Lavender!! Herbal, purple, lavender, with pale leaves. Dry smelling. Simply lavender. Overall: If I can get over the wet stage, then I'll definitely use up the imp! i love the smell of Lavender! Just dried lavender. Light, sharp, herby floral. A bit papery. I just love lavender, and this is the first (on the dry down) BPAL that is really one note!

In the imp: Sweet, sweet, sweet. My teeth almost hurt. Too much violet or fruit or something. I love violet, but this is too much. And smells a bit musky, like dirty person musk. I would prefer if there was more wine to giver it a cleaner smell...I'll see. Wet: Very sweet. Like too much sugar in apple juice, and heavily sweet flowers (the violets probably). I usually love violet, but in this blend there is too much sweetness. Dry: New car small and apple juice. Like children spilling apple juice on the the ride home from soccer practice in mom's new car. I get motion sickness very easily, so just the slight smell of car or walking by a gas station or anything like that makes me nauseous. Overall: Had to wash this off. My boyfriend even said, about 2 mintes after I put it on, that he is getting a headache. Definitely not for me. Too much sickly week. Too much car. And a bit too masculine, cologne smelling.

In the imp: Deep burgundy! Sweet and juicy. Cherries, wine and almonds. Wet: Very strong scent, well rounded. Still juicy. Not as sweet as in the imp. Sexy and feminine. Dry: Now it smells like a fruity candle. A bit waxy and generic red fruit. Like a red berries Christmas candle, or something like that. OH!! Or a barbie doll covered in sweet fruity girly perfume. Alice mixed with berries. Morphs completely. Overall: LOVE it in the imp. Don't really like it in the drydown. Not a fan of plastic scents. Might keep it for my oil burner. Would have to reapply every 15 minutes to get the 'in the imp' smell all the time,

In the imp: Smells red. There's jasmine or dragon's blood, bitter herbs, some eucalyptus, very very sweet. Wet: Sweet dragon's blood and jasmine, something herby, getting some honey. Dry: Soapy resin sweetness. Very red. Overall: I've leaned to love dragon's blood, but only BPAL dragon's blood. But this isn't quite that for me. This is too heavy, too sweet, too resiny. A bit too much. Will try it again, but probably will swap.

In the imp: Cinnamon rubbing alcohol...um... Wet: Wood washed with cinnamon rubbing alcohol. Dry: Finally I'm getting the notes listed! Well, note....This is all Jasmine. There's some light ginger and sweet ginger in the background but the Jasmine eats almost everything completely. Overall: I'm not sure if it's because I received this imp aged (from a swap) or if it really is just Jamine, but it's nothing remarkable. I'll try it again, and then I might swap it again!!

In the imp: Not what I was expecting at all! I was expecting citrus rinds and rose. But this is sweet lemon juice and a bit of herbs. Wet: Oooo..Pleasant! I'm getting something soapy and foody. Vanilla cupcake musk and soap....Dunno about this one... Dry: Fabric Softener/Laundry detergent. A bit soapy, but in a refreshing way. A bit powdery from the rose and definite citrus. Some light musk, but just enough to ground it on my skin. Lovely! Overall: I want a bottle! It's light with good throw and lasts a very long time. I never thought I would like the smell of pink fruity citrus fabric softener! Especially in a scent to wear!
-
In the imp: Smells like rotting fruit in a dirty, smelly shoe. Um.... I guess I don't like lotus... I do love Amber and citrus, so I'll try it and see if the lotus fades. Wet: Sweet fruity shoes. Dry: I have to wash this off. Overall: I'm sure I would have loved it if it wasn't for the lotus. I love, love, love amber and most floral scents. And citrus makes everything smell better on my skin. But, darn that lotus.

Patchouli. I knew it before reading the notes. When i opened the imp there was something that I liked in this, something sweet and fruity. But I don't like patchouli and this is HEAVY patchouli. Definite resin, have to wash this off.

In the imp: Cherry cough syrup and amaretto...or some other syrupy sweet alcohol. Dunno about this one. Wet: More alcoholic syrup and sugar cane. Very cherry. Dark cherry. Dry: Finally get the rose and black musk. Slightly powdery, very dark red smelling. Not really alcoholic anymore and no more cough syrup on me!! Overall: I might have to try this one again, but generally, I liked it on the drydown. Very heavy dark and sweet. Did not like it in the imp at all, but it morphs into something I might wear.

In the imp: Lemon, Herbs, and Sandalwood. I'm getting powdery/cakey vanilla from this as well. I think my nose has been off lately. Very warm and inviting. No vetiver or lavender. I'm getting light yellow and pale green from this. Wet: This is a lovely gender neutral scent. Slightly powdery on me, but the citrus and herbs make it equally masculine. The Sandalwood is making this not too sweet. Dry: The wood fades. It's powdery lemons with a bitter herb scent in the background. Very pretty! Overall: I am really surprised with this scent. Lasts forever on me, me and my boyfriend can wear it. And I'm getting nothing from the description! This is warm, inviting, and comforting. Lovely scent.
-
In the imp: Rose! But there's something else in the background making this not as sweet and cloying as a lot of rose scents can be. Wet: Not that rosy at all! I am disappointed because I love rose scents, but at the same time surprised. i love this scent! It's powerful and translucent. A bit sharp and clean. Smells like the 'moon' in the title, not the 'rose'. Dry: Blue and violet translucent herbs. Overall: Not as rosy on my skin as it is in the imp, but still lovely and feminine. Translucent yet powerful. A definite keeper!

In the imp: Dish washing liquid and pine. i.e. pinesol. Love the smell of pine, but this smells too chemically. But my skin chemistry does like pine, so will try it... Wet: Smells like a dark forest! It's a deep cold clear scent. There's pine, a bit of dirt, and very lightly in the background a bit of sweet berries. Yet, there's a cold dark feeling. Dry: This doesn't morph much on me. Doesn't end up smelling like chemicals. I don't get pine-sol from this when it's on my skin. And the dirt note fades away pretty quickly. Reminds me of nocnitsa, another, I guess, 'adult' forest scent. Snow Bunny and Snow Maiden are girly and this and Nocnitsa are grown up versions of the 2. Yet this doesn't have a lingering ammonia smell to it as it dries down. Love it!! Overall: This is a good year round Yule scent. This is snow moon, snow maiden, snow bunny, etc...without the snow. Still have a cold feel, probably from the pine, but not a typical cold snow scent. Will definitely keep the imp!

I was so excited about this, and it really didn't work for me!! I could smell peach only barely in the bottle, more blooms than fruit. And i definitely smelled white tea! Excited about the white tea, but once I put it on it turned old lady and soapy on me! Not for me at all! My skin did not like this!
-
Not what I was expecting at all. Smoky, woody, Murky, more woody... I don't really get golden from this, but soggy wood covered in mushrooms. There's a golden sweetness in the imp, but it's very faint. On my skin it's all woody. I was really excited about this because I love amber, and was really expecting this to be primarily amber. Alas, I'm thinking the labels on the imp were mixed up, but reading the other reviews, people are getting the same thing. Odd...

I don't think I've tried a scent yet that morphs so much... In the imp:Dirt, Plastic, Lemon, Pine, fruity candy. Very, very complex. Wet: Something is burning! My skin is red! But, this lasts only a minute or two. Didn't even have a chance to wash it off and it stopped. It smells of gingerbread. Dry:Now it smell like a gender neutral floral. Almost want to say linden blossoms, but there's something else. Artificial musk and plastic christmas trees. Overall: This scent is too complex for me. It morphs so much in a few hours, I didn't know what I was wearing. And the burning really BURNED! Just no for me.
-
In the imp: Heavy citrus dust and wood. Less masculine than I thought it would be. Wet: All wood. I can smell the cedar becoming stronger. Dry: Not my type of scent. Dust, wood decay. Very strong vetiver. No more citrus. There is something in the background though, maybe the amber, that is making this pleasant to my nose. I love amber, as it turns powdery on my skin. I think this is making this more feminine. Overall: Usually such woody scents like this throw me off. I tend to categorize them all in the 'patchouli' category and have to immediately wash them off. But the amber is making this pleasant and familiar to me. I think I'll wear this again.

In the bottle: Smells exactly like Snow White with a ton of mint in it! By a ton, I mean there's a mix of different mints. I can't put my finger on it. I didn't like Snow-White, it turned to play-doh on me, but the mint in this is Wet: Very minty. Smells like snow flakes! A very light scent. Dry: Same as wet. Faint, bright, crisp. Overall: This is what Snow White should have smelled like on me! No play-doh here, just minty faint vanilla coconut. Is fitting to the name! Crisp and pretty!!
-
I have to say, I love this scent! Very, very sweet and fruity. Sweet red apples, berries, and currants. Almost smells of apples and tart cranberries. Smells the same from imp to dry down on my skin, has really good throw and lasts all day. Put in on at 7 this morning and can still smell it on me 12 hours later. Very red and orange and fruity and juicy...I'm just repeating myself now. But I love it!!

This is the 2009 version. Smells exactly like Snow Moon, Snow Bunny, and the First Soft Snow. Pine, snow and light florals. Not as astringent as Snow Moon and not as perfumey as Snow Bunny, More floral than the First Soft Snow, but essentially, all four smell the same. If you like Snow Moon or Snow Bunny stock up on this and you'll be satisfied!! I know that's what I will do!!
