In the Imp: Sweet, Sweet, Sweet resin! Sweet! I really don't like Dragon's Blood, but I love Amber. Mixed together, it's interesting... Wet: Definitely resinous. It's not typical Dragon's Blood, though. Not as heavy, and overpowering and hippy shopish. It's sweet though, as it should be. Dry: Oh, Amber!! Now this is what I like! Heay sweet, golden and slightly powdery. I love it! Very good blend, very good drydown. Has good throw still. And it's very feminine, a bit like O. Very sexy. Overall: I want a bottle. Sweet and powdery and has good throw and doesn't give me a headache. Finally, Dragon's Blood that I like!

In the imp: Smells like and old, dusty, worn, red Victorian velvet chair, with the wood a bit moldy, and the cushion sitting in a smoke filled room for a few years. That's my first impression. My second impression, definintely chocolate, something herby, and woody. I also picture something when I smell something. Wet: Patchuoli. Although it's not, just, strong woody or herby smells remind me of patchouli and I just don't like them. There's no chocolate anymore, just dry patchouli. Dry: It's definitely not patchouli, but this blend is definitely not working with my skin. It's pretty light, definite myrrh. I like sandalwood only in tooth hurting sweet blends, where the sandalwood makes them no too sweet. Overall: I think I just hate patchouli so much that anything that ever reminds me of it makes me gag. I actually dont hate this blend though. Reminds me of Death Cap in the sense that I like it even though I shouldn't. I might not keep my imp though.

In the imp: Herby Lemon. Yummy! Wet: The herbs are coming out, and becoming bitter. I smell BO. There are a few scents now that I've tried that have had the scent of BO in the background and I've had to wash it off. I think it's an herb that I just can't do. Fire of Love is starting to bother me. Dry: The BO goes away, but it it's too herby. Too dry. And now I'm getting patchouli. Maybe it's just the Van Van I tried I little earlier that's could still be lingering, but It's really starting to bother me. Overall: I like it in the imp. I don't like it on me. My body chemistry really hates this scent, so, alas, I'll swap or sell.

In the imp: Patchouli. Wet: Patchouli. Dry: slightly woody, herby, lemony, and slightly sweet. A bot powdery too. Not bad, won't keep it. Overall: I hate patchouli. Patchouli overpowers everything and just stays STRONG even when I wash it off. Here, it doesn't and the blend turns..pretty.. on me. But I still cannot get through the patchouli stage and won't bother waiting.

Definitely one of the more interesting scents I've tried. And one I like. In the imp: Old wood. Kind of like the smell of we cardboard, but it's wood. And mint. Definite mint, like spearmint. Wet: Very nostalgic. Like an old room of old furniture, smoke, dead roses and lace. Victorian. But it really smells like Spearmint toothpaste spread over an old chessboard. And I smell Strawberries. Don't know where that came from. Dry: The rose is coming out!!! Oh, rose! How I love rose! The mint fades away completely, still slightly wooden, but powdery and light. Like a distant memory. That's how it feels I guess. I'm reading too much into this. Overall: Lasts all day. Very light. I feel very nostaligic wearing this. It's a scent with atmosphere. Reminds me of Scarecrow, just because they're both interesting. I love it. I live the rose. The mint stage is a bit strange, but the rest of the day, I just felt very...I dunno, I just like it!!

In the imp: Like Embaling Fluid, Alice, and Baobhan Sith mixed together. Musky, plastic lemon and ginger. I don't know what to think of it. I was expecting (hoping for) more honey. It's milky ginger. Wet: Alice with lemon in it. I don't really like Alice. I think I just don't really like milk. Even in White Rabbit the milk bothers me and it's one of my favorites. It's sweet musky plastic. The more it dries, the less I like it. Dry: Doesn't really change. Overall: I like it and I don't like it. Half the notes I don't like, but the other half, the lemon and gonger make Sudha Segara likable for me. I'll wear my imp. But I was really hoping for the honey that never came. And honey amps on my skin and here, nothing. A bit of a dissapointment, but I'll finish the imp.

In the imp: Astringent. It doesn't even smell like Rosemary, it smells like Vicks Vapo rub and Sea Breeze. No rose, no Orange blossom, the two notes that I ordered the imp for. Wet: The astringent scent fades oh so quickly. Powdery white rose is all I smell. Light and sweet (probably the orange blossom). A bit like 2/5/7, but stronger. A little herby, but it's definitely white rose. Dry: Smells a bit like paper. Dry, light, white. No more rosemary at all. It's still powdery and sweet. There is something of a citrus scent in the background that makes the rose scent clean. Overall: I like it. It turns to white powdery rose. It's similar to a lot of other rose scents. Rose just amps on my skin and a lot of rose blend just smell like plain rose on my skin. I love rose, but it's not all I want to smell like all the time. I was hoping for something else in this scent. I love Rosemary (love love love it, the only herb I eat!) And I love Orange Blossom in Jezebel, but the other two notes fade on my skin. I like it, will use my imp, but probably won't go for a bottle.

They both have rose in them. It could be a similar rose they both have, as I don't know what lovers' rose is. I understand what you mean. Hairspray, to me, smells powdery and sweet. It's a smell I like. Similar to rose, it turns powdery and sweet on my skin. It could be your nose or skin chemistry changing the rose smell to a hairspray smell. I do think they smell similar, or at least rose sometimes reminds me of hairspray. Hope that helps. I kind of rambled.

There is another thread, 'What is your favorite label?' and someone said that there is a little hidden picture of Alice in the GC Alice label. We need a picture of that, if anyone has it1

Oooooh! I just noticed the little Alice in Wonderland figures on it! I must have it!!

I've loved this scent forever!! The original pink one, I finally got on Christmas, and I'm afraid of using it all up. I would like to know what smells similar in the GC or what has similar notes. Because for me this is the perfect perfume. These are the notes: Moonstone Rose, White Peach, White Cranberry Juices, Magenta Nectar, Black Currant, Orange Jasmine, Persian Lime Juice, Velvet Violet, Amber, Indian Sandalwood I'm not really looking for the same thing, because I can just buy this at Sephora. Thank goodness! But anything similar. Thank you in advance!!

I put this on before going to bed. I literally put a swipe of the wand at the base of my neck and a swipe of the wand on my wrist, In the imp: LAVENDER and jasmine. Really heavy. I love lavender, but this makes me think the heavy scent will prevent me from sleeping. Wet: JASMINE and lavender. I don't like jasmine oil. Really heavy and smells almost like resin. Now I really don't think I'll sleep. Dry: Heavy, heavy, almost bothering me. But it's fading quickly and becoming gentle and light. b]Then next morning:[/b] Don't think it helped me sleep because it took me forever to fall asleep. And I don't remember any dreams. Maybe I should put more on next time. I dunno because it was bothering me already. Overall: Very heavy, but faded quickly. Maybe I'll use more tonight, instead of just a swipe. Definitely not for daytime wear. I'll use my imp for sleeping purposes, but if it doesn't work again tonight, I'll sell it. Oh, and I gave a swipe to my boyfriend, again at the neck and wrists, and the next morning he said the same thing. Took him forever to fall asleep and he didn't remember any of his dreams. I'll give him some more tonight too.

Oh, I understand Play-doh! The only scent that turns to it on me though has been Snow White. And I know it's not almond, because Queen of Sheba was pure almond on me and didn't morph. It can't be the vanilla because vanilla, on my skin, has a distinct plastic smell of a Barbie Doll or My Little Pony. It's a different smell from the Play-doh. The Barbie doesn't bother me as much, it's just really sweet plastic vanilla. I think, specifically in Snow White, it's the combination of the coconut and vanilla. It's like putting suntan lotion on your My Little Pony and it creates Play-Doh. Or something....

In the imp: Smells like a gingerbread, vanilla, plum, spicy Yankee candle. It's yummy, but it's too commercial and foody for me. Wet: I am burning! Red spots everywhere, not just where I put the oil, but inches surrounding those areas! The spicy carnation is giving me pain!!! I washed it off very well, as in, I took another shower, and the spots and the itchy burning pain started fading about 45 minutes later.... Overall: Pretty in the imp...but the burning!!!! The only other oil that really burned was Hermia, but the burning faded really quickly, so quickly, that I didn't even have time to get undressed and take a shower and the redness stopped. Actually Snake Oil too, but it was very slight, I could ignore it, and faded even quicker than the Hermia pain did. But this scent is almost evil for me! Getting rid of it immediately!!!!

In the imp: Light, clean, watery, floral. A sweeter Dirty. Very, very pretty! Wet: Something's bothering me. A green herb note is coming out, and it smells of on my skin chemistry. Dry: I'm sneezing, and my wrist smells like bad B.O! I have to wash this off! Overall: Something in this blend really bothered me, and I don't know what it could possibly be. It is so pretty in the imp. Maybe it will work for someone else!

In the imp: Sweet sawdust (the oak and cypress), and something crisp and clean (the leaves and aquatic). Wet: The wood fades very quickly and the lilies become more pronounced. I'm a bit worried that this will turn to soap on me, as some lilies do. But it's not a completely heavy floral. It's lighter, the leaves and the aquatic really mellow down the sweetness. This is pretty. Dry: No soap! Not amazing throw, but decent. The lilies have dies down even more and it's mostly clean leaves. Very pretty!!! Overall: I was worried, but this is lovely! Sweet without being cloying. Reminds me of Davidoff Cool Water (I think that's what it's called). Could be masculine or feminine. I will use my imp!
-
In the imp: It's girly, light, sweet. Smells like a Barbie doll. Reminds me of Antique Lace, except instead of vanilla is the bergamont and carnation that's throwing me off. Wet: Very sweet, but very light. It's already fading. It's still smells a bit like plastic, but I definitely smell the milk and tea. No honey. Dry: It's preactically gone. This didn't last long at all. Overall: I remember smelling an imp of this that my roommate had, and not liking it. I thought it was too sweet. But, I decided to try it again, because it is Alice after all! But, alas, it's mostly plastic on me, and it doesn't last long, at all. Now I'm sad.

In the imp: Definite tea with rose and a little spice. Very light. Slightly lemony. Wet: The tea is amping. I don't really smell the rose, which is strange because rose AMPS on me. Mostly tea. Light, pretty, feminine. And the lemon (juice) scent is coming out more. Dry: The tea is turning too musky. And is lasting a long time. I don't like musk, so this is bothering me. And the lemon faded completely. Overall: Reminds me too much of Embalming Fluid, too musky. Very light, but lasts a very long time. I was hoping for more rose, and at least a little carnation, but all I get is white tea, which from this, I learned I don't like. Off to sell or swap!
-
In the imp: Definite citrus rind, mostly kumquat and white grapefruit. Wet: The flowers come out. Slight sweetness. I don't know what yuzu smells like, but if it's slightly sweet, then it's this. Dry: Sweet grapefruit candy. Smells yummy. After a long while, the snow covered flowers really come out, and it smells like Snow Bunny with grapefruit. Pretty. Overall: I was expecting something really dark, and nasty. But this is pretty, and it fits a night-gaunt perfectly.
-
In the imp: Lavender and other herbs. I love lavender, but not necessarily for me to wear as perfume. But it's pretty, sharp, and clean in the imp. Wet: No lavender. Slightly amazing considering it's the patchouli of florals! It's very green, though. Could smell herbs and mint. I always thought that mint would bother me, but it makes this scent cleaner than it already is. Dry: Powdery grass! I love it! No mint, nor lime, nor lavender, just some light herbs, fresh cut grass and roses. My skin chemistry is weird... Overall: Love it! This is what I wanted a Blade of Grass to smell like. And smells like the gap scent 'Grass.' Very green, crisp, clean. Want a big bottle.
-
In the imp: Sweet lilies. Pretty. Wet: Very sweet lilies. A bouquet of true to life lilies. The honey is there, though not as strong as I had hoped. But still, very pretty. Dry: Actually started to turn soapy on the dry down, but when it dried it went back to the wet smell. Honeyed lilies is what this is. Overall: I thought this would be too strong for me. After a while, lilies give me a headache. But no! This was just right. I love, especially, the honey in this. Very pretty!!
-
In the imp: Rose Red! I'm glad that there is a blend on the GC comparable to the gorgeous LE! Wet: Rose Red. Velvety, red rose petal. Although this isn't as crisp and green as Rose Red. Less stem and more rose in this one. Dry: Not really Rose Red anymore. Turns powdery, doesn't stay crisp. I don't mind! This is really the one red rose, petals and stem somewhere in the background. Overall: This turns very light. It's not as strong as Rose Red, but it's very, very similar. I might like this more actually. The crispness of RR bothers my boyfriend sometimes, so this might be a good replacement blend!! Will buy a bottle in the future.
-
In the bottle: Definitely smell the white rose! And something else, foody. It's the cream, and I get no honey (the reason I ordered this blend). Sad, but time to try it on! Very feminine. Wet: White rose. Really sweet white rose, from the cream. Again, no honey. The cream smells delicious, but I'm not sure I want to smell like it all the time. Dry: All cream, no rose. It's the one note in this that I was hoping would be the one to fade, and not amp. And this is very strange, because rose and honey always amp on my skin. And turn powdery. But, not this time. The cream does smell good, though. But, not for me, I think. Next morning: I put some in my hair, as I always do, and the next morning...Honey!! Finally, the honey comes out after hours and hours. Definitely keeping this, no matter what. I woke up happy! Overall: I love rose and honey, but this blend amps the cream. It's still pretty, and feminine, lasts long, has ok throw, but I wanted more honey. I go it after a few hours, but I'd prefer if there was less cream.

In the imp: Some sort of resin and apple blossom faintly in the background. I'm not sure about this, because I don't like resin scents. But it it very golden, and bright. And it's heavy. Wet: I smell wood and resin. No apple blossom anymore. It's very light, though. Usually resins and woods amp, take over, don't wash off, etc... on my skin. But for some reason, this isn't. Dry:Complete change from bottle and wet stage! I love this! I get rose, and more rose, and it's as if I layered Helena and Jezebel, and this is what is smelled like. Not golden anymore, but white, maybe a little pink. Except a lot softer, with a lot less throw. Overall: Never has a scent morphed on me so much. I've learned from this scent that Amber does turn to powder on me. And I don't mind! I really like this scent. But since I already have bottles of Helena and Jezebel, I think I'll wait a while before buying more of this.
