I'm so hoping my bottle has travel shock. It's nice but not at all like anything anyone here is describing. It's also in a funny bottle (kind of short with rounded edges). It smells like a cinnamon candle When I first pulled it out of the package I smelled pine and berries. It has since settled down to cinnamon. Cinnamon on me as well. I want the pine and berries note. I has a sad at the moment. Will update this review if it changes.

I bought an imp of this just to have because I love elves. I never actually expected it to work because it's not my type of scent. In the imp: Evergreen and a hint of berry. On me: Basically the same when I first put it on. Evergreen and berry. I actually really like it at this point. Then it warms up and the musk and honeycomb start coming out and I can't smell the pine at all. It's just soft and sweet. I LOVE this. It's very elf-like, sophisticated and woodsy. Definite bottle purchase. I'm so happy this works on me.

I wore Hoggle. I smelled like pumpkin pie

This is an odd scent and I wish I knew what the notes were. In the imp: Almond. Straight up almond extract. On me: It starts off pure almond then almost immediately goes to a soft almond and rose scent and stays that way. It actually reminds me a bit of Pink Snowballs. Soft vanilla roses. It's nice, but I don't think I need a bottle.

I received a goblin squirt of this in a package and automatically fell in love. Immediately it smells like pine and something fresh. It then goes into pine, some berry and flowers. There's a hint of coolness to it as well. It's gorgeous and I need a large bottle. If you want your room to smell like Lothlorien, purchase this.

I was really not sure about this but I figured if it didn't work it would be easy enough to rehome. Except your now prying it out of my cold, dead fingers. This is dark and sexy and lovely. It's very resinous and dark with something sweet barely hiding in the background. And I can only imagine it will get better with age. I may need a back-up bottle of this.

This is really a scent that defies the odds. In the imp: Red musk, which is what induced me to try it. On me wet: Rose like woah. Dusty rose that makes me go Dry: Now it's a nice red musk rose and I really like it. I'm not a rose person but I really like this and am considering a bottle.

This is Dorian with licorice added. It's really nice and lighter than I was expecting.

This was everything I hoped it would be. When I first apply this it's all honey, all the time. I was really disappointed initially. However, the honey is soon mixed with gorgeous red musk and incense. To me this is like the Infernal Lover is burning some incense and it's hoard worthy.

I was pleasantly surprised by this. I wasn't too sure about it when I ordered it but I hoped it would work. To me this smells like someone poured some wine over a couple of rose petals. It's very interesting and I really like it. The rose isn't overly floral and it doesn't make me smell like a lush either. It's just very feminine and pretty. ETA Forgot to mention that this is very strong on me and a little dab is all I need.

This is absolutely gorgeous in the bottle. It smells just like the description. On me, it doesn't play nice. It starts off with incense and smoke and leaves and smells pretty. But it quickly turns into a powdery soap that makes me want to sneeze when I smell it. Then the red musk seems to come out a little more and takes away the dusty edge that makes it sneeze inducing and it is really the perfect autumn perfume. I think it will age beautifully and I may pick up another bottle. ETA after about five minutes the soap/dust thing going on disappears and I'm left with smoky incense and red musk with a hint of leaves and I definitely need a back up. Final verdict: This soap stage does not last long and when it disappears I'm left with a gorgeously sweet, smoky incense and I can see this being my signature scent. It is everything I hoped it would be and more.

I really was not sure about buying a bottle of this but decided to go for it hoping I would get the foodie scent people were describing and not the cucumber. In the bottle: It does have an aquatic cucumber scent in the bottle and I don't know where that is coming from but I hoped it would go away once it hit my skin. On my skin: Once it hits my skin the cucumber does go away and it turns into maple. Not maple syrup, more like maple walnut pancakes. As it dries it slowly morphs into a nice sweet nut scent with a hint of booze. I take it that is the beer coming out. I knew I had smelled this in something else and then it hit me. It is my beloved Nut Crack Night atmosphere spray in a bottle! It has a lot of staying power as well. I love it and am glad I bought a bottle.

I bought a bottle of this when it first came out and I did not love it, so I sold it. It was very bitter both in the bottle and on my skin. It was very sharp and unpleasant. However, I recently bought and aged bottle and boy what a change! In the bottle: It still has some of the sharp, bitter edge I remember from the fresh bottle but it has significantly sweetened up. Aging seems to have done wonders. On my skin: WOW! This is what I was hoping it would be and apparently all it needs is a little time. This is a sexy scent. It's like Snake Oil on aphrodisiacs. It's a lot darker than Snake Oil but still has some of the sweet qualities. I don't really know how to describe this other than This is that sexy vampire that brings you home to do very, very naughty things. Perhaps this is what Eric from the Sookie books would smell like I need to buy multiple bottles to start aging.

This is for the 2011 version. In the bottle: I get a very buttery sugar cookie. Smells like raw sugar cookie dough, which sounds good in theory but I'm not so sure I want the butter scent on my skin. Despite my foodie inclinations I don't want to smell like butter. On my skin: There we go, much better. This is the scent of a lovely fresh baked Snickerdoodle. I didn't smell any spice in the bottle but it really comes out on my skin. Luckily the butter note has completely disappeared and I smell delicious. It's a keeper.

Anyone know if there is an oil similar to Nutcrack Night? -
And here’s Leather Phoenix: matcha tea, wild frankincense, champaca, petitgrain, star anise, aged oudh, rose taifi, narcissus, Himalayan cedar, 11-year aged patchouli, and black leather accord. So, this blend should not work on me. I bought it because I just wanted it to have and I have a feeling it will age well. With this is mind, I decided to give it a test to see what happens. In the bottle: Rose! Rose does not tend to work on me, the only exception being Pink Snowballs. I have no hope for this. Wet: Rose, leather, patchouli. In that order. The rose is the first note and it hits me on the nose and says "fear me!". The leather and the patchouli are very nice though. Dry: The rose has settled some, but not really enough for me to care for it. I wish the patchouli and the leather would come out more to play. Dry for about 10 minutes: Ok, against all odds, this dries into something gorgeous on my skin. It took a while and I had to have some patience, but wow. The leather and patchouli come out and the rose goes into the background and what I'm assuming is the tea comes out a bit. It smells sexy and amazing. I'm SO glad I tried this. I have a feeling age will make this even better. This is one of those bottles that truly surprised me in a good way.

Limited editions equivalents in the general catalog?

Ok so I'm dying for some Mme. Moriarty/ Snake Charmer. They're both very similar on me and I can't get either lol. Any suggestions as to what would help me get the same effect?. -
I love this scent. It doesn't really change from the bottle to my skin. It's a dry cake with orange and just a hint of the anise. It smells completely edible.

Somehow, I almost missed this scent. When I went through the Weenies seeing what I would want, I passed this one right by. Luckily, I saw the reviews and snagged a bottle. This is the perfect scent for me. I LOVE red musk and honey. I was so excited to try this. In the bottle: Sweet red musk with a hint of honey. On me: I am SO glad I found this. I get the red musk, but it's smooth and sweet and warm. It sticks close to my skin and is just all around perfect. It does remind me of a smoother, sweeter, less boozy Smut. Smut is the lover who throws you down and has his dirty way with you. The Infernal Lover isn't as loud, but does he deliver. He's slower and smoother, but keeps you wanting more. I NEED back-ups of this, I have a feeling I will be wearing this a lot.

I use a paperclip. I just straighten it out a bit and use that to apply. I've got to find a better way one of these days but it works.

In the bottle: This smells like my local hardware store. Probably the combination of the leather and the cedar. It's very strong and sharp. On me: Smells about the same for the first five minutes (which makes me want to run to get it off). I stuck with it and after that it starts to warm up and sweeten. I get a smoother leather and the sandalwood starts to come out, backed by the musk. It's predominantly leather on me and I do like it and think it will mellow with age and be gorgeous.

Anyone have pics of the BPTP Inquistion labels?

I got a small amount of this in an imp in a package and I didn't even try it out on my skin because in the imp it smells like my Great Aunt, which is to say, mothballs.
