Where is my order? What is Click N Ship? How long does this take?
Morrighana replied to Snow White's topic in BPAL FAQs
Are you emailing from a gmail or hotmail type account? If not, the Lab's replies may be getting blocked by your server's spamblockers. Try again at the answers (at) blackphoenixalchemylab (dot) com address. I'm sure the Lab has not forgotten your order; if you check out the Click'n'Ship thread over in BPAL Chatter, you'll see that a number of international folks have just gotten shipping notifications for orders placed during that week, so I wouldn't doubt it if your order has either already shipped or is about to. -
You'll have to ask Paypal directly about any change in their processes, but to the best of my knowledge, echeque payments are queued by date placed rather than date cleared; they just can't ship 'em until it clears.

Did you get an email confirming your order from CCNow? If so, don't worry. (You can use the link it contains to review the order, too) If not, worry, and email the Lab to see if there's any evidence of that transaction on their end, because if there isn't, your order wasn't processed by CCNow.

It's a new USPS thing. Your tracking info probably won't actually ever work, but who knows? Maybe they're shooting for international tracking in future.

I pronounce it, roughly, gæl-en-gæl (tried to put proper characters in there, but the forum spazzed on me ), with stress on the first syllable...dunno if I'm right though. ETA: Your second pronunciation seems to come from an alternate form of the word, "galingale." The OED considers that spelling standard.

Yeah, CCNow does that sometimes. It's still authorized to charge your account, but the charge won't go through until the Lab harvests your order from CCNow's servers. 'S weird, but CCNow is kinda crappy like that.

Who do I email with questions? BPAL/BPTP contact info

Forest herself isn't with TAL anymore, but other folks are answering inquiries still at forest [at] blackphoenixalchemylab [dot] com. -

It probably is being spamblocked...you don't have a gmail account, do you? I'd try again with the hotmail account, at any rate, and keep an eye on your spam folder. -
I've changed addresses with Paypal before...what you need to do is go to "my account" and click on "profile" and then "street address." Then select your NEW address and hit "make primary." After that, you can select your OLD address and click "remove." Presto-changeo, no more address screwups!

Just substitute another bottle that is priced the same, and let them know in the Comments section of the order what you really want. That's different than a substitution, because it's not after the fact, eh? Or, order through Paypal.

Similarities Between BPAL Scents - GC and general discussion
Morrighana replied to Shollin's topic in Recommendations
I find that they're very similar in feel (light/green/spring-y) but not really at all in scent. EF is predominantly a sweet green tea on me, while Envy is predominantly lavender and mint. -

Blood Countess is one of my all-time favourite BPAL oils too. I'd recommend you try Yerevan and Suspiro from the GC, and Midwinter's Eve if you can get your hands on it. (It'll be easier to find than Red Moon, at least!) Additionally, I organize my BPAL box by scent similarity, and the scents I've got neighboring Blood Countess and some of your other "likes" are Blood, Rage, Le Petit Mort, Sed Non Satia, Tanin'iver, Hymn to Proserpine, and Black Opal. You might want to check those out! -
Yeah, email "answers (at) blackphoenixalchemylab (dot) com", and if it's not shipped yet they should be able to help you. It won't be Ted who answers you, but someone helpful will. I'd file a change of address with the post office too though, in case it has shipped already.

Just gonna quote myself from above cos it's easier.

Who do I email with questions? BPAL/BPTP contact info
Morrighana replied to kebechet's topic in BPAL FAQs
Honestly, I've not heard anything new about AOL emails since the Lab's posts that AOL was screening their domain as spam. If you want to know specifically about the Trading Post, you may want to post in the BPTP thread in Chatter, cos the Great Moist Dessert himself reads it on a regular basis and will probably be able to answer your question. -
It works, it just positively reams the Lab with fees, because CCNow charges fees and then Paypal does too. That's why the front page of the Lab's website says:
-
Send the shipping $, then email answers at blackphoenixalchemylab dot com with the transaction information for both and updated shipping address.
-
I think the loophole here is that CCNow has completed their service for you when they hand your order over to the Lab, so that's when they charge you. Honestly, this is one of the many reasons PayPal is just plain better. No confusion, no crazy fees, no third party glitches... *is a Paypal cheerleader!*
-
I think a lot of people do that. As long as you remember to copy/paste it into a paypal window (rather than using CCNow to complete the transaction with their paypal option, which charges the Lab double fees), it's a good way to make sure you're paying the right amounts.
-
I'd fwd the shipping $ as you plan to do.
-
If CCNow definitely made a charge to your account, I'd contact them here with what information you do have, since it's their auto emailer that's apparently randomly screwy and not the Lab's. They should be able to provide you with order details...
-
As I understand it, CCNow will reauthorize the charge when your order gets harvested by the Lab.

Just bumping this to let those of you who don't regularly check the forums that we have word from Beth that the printer has finally delivered all of the backordered Trading Post tees, as well as everyone's Pink Moon shirts. Sadly, Beth and Ted both fell ill this week (while they were in the process of moving), and are still quite sick. This will further affect the speed of orders leaving BPTP, but rest assured that once they are well they'll do their best to get everything out the door. Thanks so much for your patience, everyone! It's definitely appreciated.

It looks like orders from the latter part of February are shipping now. The Click'n'Ship and I Got My Order threads (pinned in BPAL Chatter) are good places to lurk to monitor turnaround.

I've never even heard of a Simon giftcard! I would personally ask CCNow directly about this...they have a customer service form here.
