Wow, what a bizarre scent! This is one of the most complex scents I've ever sniffed. The light aquatics make up the backdrop for a really strong apple vodka note. It is indeed "contrary" as my nose goes back and forth from detecting the powdery iris and the sharpness of the mint note. Very different and innovative, but unfortunately not for me. It reminds me a bit too much of Listerine. I **love** the name though!!!

I wasn't sure if I would like this one because of the white pepper, but the pepper note isn't strong at all. The kumquat is on top, which gives this blend an overall fruity feel with a nice little bite. The bite is provided by the white tea, as well as the citrusey note the orange gives it. I can barely detect the pepper, but it gives Tweedledee a complex, well blended aura. Intriguing, silly, and refreshing all at the same time, this is a lovely blend.

I knew I'd love it before I even tried it, and I do! There is a lovely, creamy, vanilla cake base, and it's completely smeared over with strong red and black currants. The currants are actually on top on my skin, which makes it more of a fruity scent than an all out cake 'o rama, which is what I expected. Nonetheless, the sugary base becomes more apparent the longer I wear it, and either way these notes are all winners as far as I'm concerned. It reminds me a bit of Monsterbait Closet, except without the boozy edge. Just beautiful, my only complaint is that it doesn't have a lot of throw, the way Drink Me does. I may need a 5 ml, I'll have to think on it for awhile. Tasty!

Oh...divine!! It's a creamy, buttery, sweet, sugary, confectionary delight! It's like liquid toffee in a bottle, and actually reminds me a bit of butterscotch liquor. There is a fabulously sugary undertone, sort of like the cheesecake note in Beaver Moon. This is another fantabulous foody indulgence that I completely love. I **need** a big ol bottle!

This reminds me very much of Holiday Moon. The tea note is very, very strong, with just a hint of a dragon's blood resin backdrop. I can detect a bit of the bamboo, but I don't smell the sandalwood or the cherry blossom at all. I like this one since I'm a big tea fan, and Holiday Moon happens to be one of my favorites. I had hoped for a bit more "dragon" in the dragon moon, but it's lovely just the same.

Soft, fuzzy and hippoty - hoppity! This bunny is lovely, it actually doesn't smell very enraged . This reminds me a lot of the Bath and Body Works Cotton Blossom scent. The cotton blossom is definitely on top here, with the white musk close behind. The clover gives it a bit of a green kick, and creates and herbal undertone that reminds me of the crispness of Hoilday Moon. The powdery notes are there, but they are subtle and in no way overwhelming. Very clean, fresh and girly. Love the bottle!

In the bottle: very, very sugary sweet vanilla syrup, you can really smell the butter rum. On the skin, the buttery aspect is not as apparent, and it turns into a delicious vanilla over a soft, sweet sandalwood. It actually reminds me a bit of Antique Lace at this stage. After about an hour, it dries down to a beautiful sandalwood with a creamy vanilla undertone. All in all, fabulously beautiful and long lasting. I love it! I'm so glad I got two bottles of this; destined to be a BPAL classic!

The orange is definitely on top here. It's the same sort of orange note that is in Ravenous; and it's lovely and creamy without being overwhelming. The patchouli is the undertone, but it is somewhat subtle and incredibly scrumptious. In combination with the ginger, it's an amazingly lovely partner for the orange. Sometimes this one doesn't agree with my body chemistry, but today it smells quite pretty.

This one actually comes out smelling a bit like tea on me, but I'm thinking it's the bamboo note that's on top. It's a very clean, crisp, energizing scent. I can smell a hint of the orchid and cherry blossoms underneath, but they are very discreet. This is more of a citrusey herbal on me than an ozone scent. It's very nice, uplifting and gender neutral.

I tried this one long ago when it first came out, and I remember not liking it very much on me; I gave it to the boy, who loves it, and I haven't tried it since. I tried it today because I realized I never reviewed it, and now it smells really nice! It's so weird how scents smell differentlly at different times ! Anyway, really nice and foody, there's a strong sugared note, much like the one in the original Sugar Skull. It's undermined by a musky, boozy note that gives it a really dark feel. Originally all I smelled was booze, but now that the sugar is on top it's so much better. There's a hint of that lovely, autumny, outside note that is also in Samhain and Hexxannacht. It's a very unique twist on a sugared scent, and now I think I might have to reclaim my bottle from the hubbie!

This is such a fabulous scent. Beth has really captured the "aged" wedding bouquet smell. There are some bright beautiful florals on top, mainly roses, and "white" flower scents. The florals are completely entombed in a sheath of dust, decay, and ancient smelling rooms. It really reminds me of walking into an elderly person's home where there are rooms that haven't been used in decades. This couldn't be more perfect for Ms. Havisham; you can almost smell the agony of disappointment. I'm so glad I got to try this one, I feel lucky!

This is definitely one of my all time favorite moons! I'm a sucker for green tea; I find it so soothing and cleansing. This is an amazing green tea blend; it's crisp and clean and irresistible. I think the combination of white tea gives it an amazing edge. I'm not sure what bamboo pulp smells like, but I sure like it! If you are a fan of Shanghai, you'll love this. It actually makes me feel calm and cool when I wear it. Fabulous!

A creeping, seductive, sensual blend. A gorgeous white combination of the soothing lily and the musk note totally debauched by the sinister frankincense. It conjours images of white witches and fleeting night wood nymphs. This is a unique blend, I don't generally think about frankincense and lily as an appropriate pairing, but it really works. There is just enough "incensey - ness" to this blend to keep me from classifying it as a floral; it's more of a soft resin blend. Absolutely lovely, I like it very much.

This is a lovely, sexy patchouli scent. The patchouli note is definitely on top, and it's slathered over with juniper and oakmoss. There is an amazing array of spices underneath it all; they are so alluring and complex. The honeyed note gives everything a warm, soft, creamy sort of feel, and this really seals the deal for me. What a beautiful blend; this would be nice on either of the sexes, it's also strong and long lasting. I love it!

A strong, ballsy rose blend. It smells mainly like rose and ylang ylang on me, which is always a wonderful combination. I can smell a touch of the apple blossom, but almost no honey at all. It's a very pretty blend, an interesting twist on the usual rose florals. I really like the ylang ylang note, it gives it a bit of sticking power.

This is definitely what I look for in a floral blend. The lilies are lovely and glorious in their awakening, and they are undershadowed by the most amazing, creamy foody smell. It's that wonderful BPAL honey note that Beth so masterfully creates. Such a lovely combination, although I must admit I like honey combined with just about anything! This is a good blend for those of you that think they can't wear florals; here's your solution. My only complaint: I wish it had a little more throw and sticking power. But, Fabulous anyway!!

At first sniff: a strong, feminine rose blend with an edge. It's interesting that this is indeed a very "Victorian" scent; it reminds me of the way old preserved Victorian homes smell. The rose smells like tea rose on my skin, and I can't guess what the spices are, but they are amazingly complimentary to the strength of the rose note. This smells like a seductress with a beautiful, alluring appearance and a rotten core. Lovely, a beautiful floral with a kick.

This is true to its description; truly angelic smelling. The jasmine is overwhelmingly the top note on me. The rosewood follows closely behind along with the lily. The undertones are predominantly rosewood smelling, but they are also complimented by the white musks. I can barely detect the sage, and this is a very floral blend on me. Just beautiful; feminine in the extreme. Not much sticking power though.

This is a divinely lovely blend. The sweet pea is the first thing I notice, but it's rich and thick in combination with the warmth of the tonka (one of my favorite notes!). The sage is an undertone, it's there just enough to give Aeval an herbally feel, and it's really interesting against the other notes. I can detect the musk when I'm looking for it, but I wouldn't describe this as an overly musky blend. Really unique, this is a great one.

This is a gorgeous blend. Strong, heady lotus drowning in an undercurrent of florals and amber. There is a hint of something citrusey, but it's very faint and just gives the blend an energizing kick. This is definitely the best BPAL lotus blend to date, amazingly innocent, feminine, and enticing. It has a fair amount of throw when first applied, but doesn't last as long as I would prefer. All in all, a certain keeper!

I am so surprised there is no patchouli in this, because it smells exactly like Depraved smells on me. It must be because of the apricot, and I must be confusing the ginger with the patchouli. Regardless, this is a lovely blend! The apricot is certainly on top, with the ginger and the jasmine lurking just beneath. I can't smell much of the vanilla, I think the apricot all but drowns it out. This is a very sexy blend, there's definitely not anything innocent about Siren! I like this one a lot, but like I said, it's a virtual clone of Depraved on me skin.

This is a complex, leave you wanting more type scent. There's a distinct citrusey note on top, not lemony but more on the orangey side. There are deep, resiny, incense notes there, but they are not terribly strong or overpowering. The ozone seems to dominate the incense, which has a really odd, unique effect. This is one of the most bizarre blends I've ever sniffed, it's not too bad on me but not something I would wear often.
-
This is much brighter than I imagined a blend named shadow would be. It's a brisk, light, citrusey lemon blend. The lemon is gentle, rather sweet, sort of like the lemon in Lemon Drops candy. I can just barely detect the undertones of sandalwood and cedar, they give it the tiniest hint of a wooded background. I can't smell any patchouli at all. This is a nice citrus blend, but not my cup of tea.
-
Comes out really floral smelling on me. Strong, heady, deep narcissus just barely accented by opium. The myrrh is just barely there, enough to give it a hint of resiny backdrop. It's a strong blend with a lot of throw, and it stikes me as being more feminine. I actually would have guessed there was lotus or night jasmine in this. It has such a sweet feel to it. This actually smells pretty good on me, I think I'll hold onto my imp.

Scrumptious. Absolutely lovely, this is one of those scents that was love at first sniff for me. The black currant draws me in, and then the richness of the lavendar rears its head. There is an utterly perfect balance between the white musk and the currant; it's an enchanting combination. The ozone notes are there, but just barely enough to give the blend a certain "lightness" or even tangy refreshingness. I really love this one, and this is the first regular catalogue I've sniffed in months that I definitely need a 5 ml of!
