    Snow Bunny

This is definitely a more feminine form of Skadi. Skadi is my hubbie's all time favorite, so it's kind of neat that I can wear one that matches him so well. It's got that same frozen pine note to it, but doesn't have quite as much as a bite as Skadi does. It definitely screams ski slopes, and lives up to it's name beautifully. What a lovely little surprise since Skadi didn't come back. I told my husband when he runs out of Skadi I'm going to refill his bottle with Snow Bunny and then one day mention to him in front of his friends how good his Snow Bunny perfume smells on him.

    Nuclear Winter

This one actually reminds me quite a bit of one of my all time favorites, Ice Queen. It's very similar, but with a minty edge. It's got that lovely, indescribable icy frozen note that the lab is so good at creating. Frozen, snowy, and barren, wrapped around a light green mint, just as I imagined it would be. I'm normally not a mint fan, but I like this one a lot because of it's similarity Ice Queen. Very beautiful and perfect for winter.

    Golden Priapus

When first applied, the pine is definitely the strongest note. After awhile, the scent starts to soften up, and the pine fades into the background to make room for the sweetness of the vanilla and amber. I love the combination of vanilla and amber, and they smell surprising yum over the soft white pine note. It's a strange but lovely result. The longer I wear it, the sweeter the vanilla becomes, which is great by me. A very unique scent, would be great on either men or women. It's like warm milk next to the Christmas tree

    Black Hellebore

With a name like Black Hellebore I expected this one to be a really ballsy, in your face scent. But, it's really quite soft, feminine and lovely. The peony is definitely on top, and is very girly and perfumey. There's a pretty pink rose note there as well. I'm not picking up much of the dark green herbal notes, but there is a hint of plant-like undertones. This actually reminds me of a fragrance you would find at Bath and Body Works in a glittery lotion. It's really beautiful, though, and I don't have anything that smells like this so I will surely enjoy my imp.

    Yew-Trees

This is a very soft, subdued type of pine scent. It's smooth and pleasant, it doesn't have that sharp bite that some strong pine notes have. The evergreen boughs are undershadowed by a pleasant, woodsy note that makes me think of fresh cut christmas trees. I can't really smell the berries individually, but there is a hint of sweetness hiding beneath it all. This is a very interesting pine scent, and this would be good for people who think they don't like pine. Try this one, it's definitely innovative.

    Cobra Lily

Normally I think of lily as a soft, sweet, delicate note, but this lily is the exact opposite of that. It's exactly as described, "sharp and vicous." This is an in-your-face, over the top, giant, fresh flower shop full of radiantly scented lilies. It has as much of a "sting" as any floral could ever have. Florals never last long on me, but this one is wicked enough to reapply. I love it, amazing, stupendous, etc...

    Jacob's Ladder

Absolutely fabulous! On me, this one smells much like Snake Oil, but deeper, richer, and spicier. It's a glorious sweet, vanilla, amber sugared scent. But it has this dark spicy depth to it, that makes it really decadent and sexy. It has a lot of staying power, and a nice amount of throw. This is one that words can't really describe, I could never do it justice. Definitely one of my all time favorite limited editions, a true masterpiece of BPAL.

    The Peacock Queen

Rose Red is one of my all time favorites, so I knew I would love this one as well. While Rose Red smells like the ripest, most perfect red rose imaginable, The Peacock Queen smells like the ripest, sweetest pink rose imaginable. It's smells a bit more like tea rose to me, but is still perfect and gorgeous in all it's glory. It's definitely "haughty" and has a jealous air about it. I absolutely adore it! The only reason I'm not immediately getting another bottle is I already have 3 bottles of Rose Red, and well, how much rose can I possibly need? All in all, the perfect sister to Rose Red, The glorious Peacock Queen

    Stardust

This is truly a masterpiece. At first sniff it honestly does conjour images of long, drunken nights full of red lipstick and pills. It's a lot fruitier than I expected, which I think is coming from the champagne note. It's a really sweet, berry licious type of champagne, the kind you can drink a bottle of before you've even realized your mistake. The tuberose and ylang ylang are there as well, they add this clean, flowery, refreshing layer underneath the champagne. It's a lot more refreshing and clean than I imagined it would be, but it's just gorgeous. I am utterly enamored with Stardust, another beauty:)

    Incantation

A profound and entrancing potion. Deep, wispy, and unfathomably dark: vetiver, dark woods, crumbling and burnt black sandalwood and a drop of lemon rind. Very light, airy, mysterious and spooky. Beth is so good at creating that creeping, breezy, haunted house type feel in a scent. This one smells very masculine to me, like something a handsome stranger in a dark club would be wearing. It's so beautifully blended it's hard to pick out the individual notes, but the vetiver definitely is not prominent, which is a good thing for me. I'll see if the boy likes it, but too masculine for me. A lovely scent though.

    Euphrosyne

Lovely, light gardenia with a smooth vanilla undertone. A beautiful floral, nicely complimented by the caress of rose and jasmine. Ultra girly, feminine...we're talking red satin corset, lipstick and high heels. The longer I wear it the stronger the jasmine becomes, which is fine by me. This is like Bearded Lady's little teenage sister. A wonderful floral, I'll certainly enjoy my imp.

    Jolly Roger

It's funny, I never notice the leather in BPAL blends until I read the ingredients, and then it becomes glaringly apparent. I'm not a big leather fan, but this is a really nice masculine blend. I would classify it as woodsy, but the bay rum and the leather are definitely prevalent as well. It comes off smelling like a really sexy guy's cologne. I'm definitely gonna try this on the hubbie.

    Fallen

This is hard to classify, because it's woodsy as well as perfumey and a bit floral. I can smell the sandalwood on top, and it's undershadowed by a dark, mysterious floral note, which must be the violet and vetiver. Normally I'm not a fan of either of those two notes, but they seem to work well with this one. I can't detect any of the amber, but since it's supposed to be "dark" it probably just blends so nicely that I can't pick it out individually. I think this would nice on a male or female. I think I will definitely keep my imp.

    Sol

A sharp red/amber scent. It's rather spicy and dry. This is a really hard one to describe, but there is no doubt that this represents the sun beautifully. It makes me think of scorched deserts and sand dunes. There are a few different spices, but they are hard to differentiate, maybe some cinnamon and clove? Maybe some incensey notes in there? This one's not bad but it's a little fierce for me.

    Hearth

Lovely! Buttered toffee with chunks of chestnuts, smooth, sweet and creamy. I can detect an undershadow of smoke and piney-ness, but it's really very subtle. There's also something in it that makes me think of a deep coffee, sort of like Miskatonic University. I guess I would classify this as toffee/coffee/nut crunch while you are sitting next to the fire. I never tried the original Hearth, because I knew I wouldn't like it, but I am so glad I tried this one. It's really yummy and has a lot of staying power; I put some on my neck last evening and I could still smell it in my hair this morning. I'm really enjoying the toffee yumminess, try the new Hearth y'all!

    Lick It

Ooooo, this one definitely exceeded my expectations. It's definitely a candy cane/ peppermint candy smell, but it has a wonderful creamy, milky, sweet yumminess underneath it. It's a really decadent, fancy smelling peppermint. I'm normally not too into the minty ones, but this is delicious. The best part is, is has an intense, mentholated cooling effect on my skin that lasts for about 15 minutes. That is how I imagined Numb would make me feel, but alas it did not. It doesn't last as long scent wise as I would prefer, but it's lovely enough to reapply, besides, then you get the cool icy effect all over again

    Beaver Moon 2005

I never thought any moon would ever top Milk Moon for me, but Beaver Moon has done it! I am in love love love with this one! Pink cupcakes, no doubt about it, sugary and fresh and rich. There is also a cheesecake scent, or perhaps cream cheese frosting, that is absolutely scrumptious. I can almost even detect the graham cracker crust. This one's just a big ol bakery love fest, this is the foody scent I have been waiting for. Needless to say, you would have to pry my 2 bottles of Beaver Moon from my cold dead hands Thankyou so much Beth!!!

    Bastet

I am in love again! This is a gorgeous scent! Smooth amber and floral on top, blended so beautifully with the soft musk and the almond. The combination of amber and almond is outstanding, enought to make anyone swoon. This is going immediately onto my 5 ml wishlist, I'm so glad I finally tried it. Bound to be one of my new favorites. Another masterpiece by Beth!!!

    Black Opal

Very, very light on scent. i actually have to hold my wrist further away from my nose and catch the scent as it rises, rather than sniffing the skin directly. It's definitely a vanilla scent, but there is a musky underneath tone to it that complimented by an almost herbal note. It's intriguing, very lovely and feminine, but also dark and seductive. I will enjoy my imp, but it doesn't have enough throw for a 5 ml.

    Alecto

There is only thing that Alecto smells like to me: New cars. Yep, I definitely don't get any fruitiness whatsoever from this one. It smells like the inside of a fresh new car right out of the dealer's lot. While new car smell is not entirely unpleasant, it's definitely not something I want to wear on my neck.

    Black Forest

Imagine the thickest, deepest, darkest pine forest you've ever seen, now imagine it at night. This is what Black Forest smells like. It's a very dark pine scent, shot through with various other deep woodsy notes. It's a bit on the masculine side, but lovely just the same. I don't think I'd wear it, but I may try it on the hubbie.

    Imp

Beautiful! The peach is definitely on top here, and it's sweet and has an almost evervescent quality. The fruitiness is undershadowed by the smoky patchouli, and it's such a beautiful combination. This reminds me a bit of Depraved, one of my favorites, but less incensey. Imp is great, it's fruity, fun, and earthy all at the same time. Would be really nice on both guys and girls.

    Pumpkin Patch I (2005, 2006)

This one reminds me of a store I use to go in with my mom when I was little, it was appropriately called "The Apple Tree." The apple is defintely on top in this blend, followed closely by the mulling spices. The pumpkin is more of an undershadow here, but combined it makes for a pretty delicious blend. This is about as harvesty as any blend gets; definitely makes me think of pumpkin carving, apple picking and hot cider. I love this as I have loved all the pumkin patch blends. They will certainly be some of the jewels of my collection.

    Pumpkin Patch II (2005, 2006)

Oh yummy, pure harvest treats in a bottle. The cocoa note is really lovely, it's not like a chocolately hershey bar cocoa, it's the cocoa you smell in your mom's spice cabinet when she's baking cookies. It's subtle yet undeniably chocolately. The hazelnut and walnut compliment this blend beautifully, and I can't think of a yummier truffle flavor than this would be! Love it,love it, I'll wear it often

    Silk Road

This one is definitely a soapy scent, sort of like Joy in the old yellow bottle. There's a bit more depth to it, though, and I can detect a hint of incensey undertones. It's a clean, bar of soap type smell, not for me but lovely just the same.
