    Torture King

OOooh, sexy, I want my man to wear this! The top notes are definitely citrusy, I can detect equal parts of the lemon, lime and mandarin. The leather is definitely there as an undertone, but oddly compliments the citrus effect. I can detect maybe a small hint of the frankincense and sweet clove. This one personally doesn't work for me, as leather notes hate me, but I think it's going to be drop dead sexy on the fiance, and I'm going to give him no choice but to wear it regularly!

    Gypsy Queen

I expected to love this one but I'm thinking it's really not for me. It's an unusual scent, a smoky floral that is also a bit on the sharp side. I think maybe the incense smoke in this one is not agreeing with my body chemistry. I can pick out the carnation, but I having a hard time finding any of the other notes. Overall, way more smoky/incensey than floral, not really something that works real well with my skin. I think on the right person she would be gorgeous.

    Numb

What a hard scent to descibe! It's lovely and light and sort of a powdery floral, but not in an overpowering way. It's a bright white smell, no doubt about that, almost to the point where it's angelic. It goes on nice and cool and has a bit of the cooling effect on my skin like Ice Queen does. There's perhaps a faint breath of a citrusy base, but it's beautifully blended. I live in Tampa, man am I glad I ordered two bottles to keep me cool for a long time. Very nice scent, innovative.

    Fruit Moon

Ooooh, sweet Fruit Moon, one of the best moons yet It's a glorious cornicopia of the sweetest, juciest, ripest summer fruits. They all mesh so beautifully, its hard to pick out individuals since there are so many, but I think the peach and the mango are holding their heads a little higher than the rest. I can also pick out blackberry and kiwi. Luscious, wonderful, I adore this moon. Right up there with Titania for the best fruity scent yet. Perfection!

    Judgement

This one reminds me so much of the TAL blends Flame of Desire and Fiery Command, which are two of my all time favorites. It's a very incensey, head shop type oil, but in such a masterfully blended way. It has an underlying, almost powdery sweetness to it that mellows out the intensity of the incense note. It's a wonderful, goddess temple type scent, and one that I find quite comforting. I am thrilled to have acquired a decant of this from pink.owl because I absolutely love it. I've been so broken hearted that I can't get any more Flame of Desire, but this is a perfect replacement. I will definitely be ordering a big bottle, because incense blends this good are one in a million.

    Medicine Show

I honestly didn't think I would like this one, but I'm pleasantly surprised to find that I do. It's a wonderful, rich, green, herbally smell, but there is a lovely undertone that smooths it out. I guess that would be the opium; it smells wonderful layered under a green scent, which I never would have imagined. The rosewood and ginger are probably the most prominent notes on me. I really find this one intriguing and am happy to have a bottle.

    Carnivàle

This is definitely a berry smell, but its an EVIL berry smell. The brightness and sweetness of the berries is completely debauched by a sneaky, dark underlying force of evil. I can pick out the carnation and perhaps a hint of the amber undershadowing the berry. This one makes me think of dark, scary places and sinister black capes. I like it, but not as much as I thought I was going to.

    Sin

A thick, heavy, cinnamon and sandalwood scent. The cinnamon is definitely top note, and it's strong, almost to the point of being a bit overpowering for me. I can smell the black patchouli and sandalwood as undertones, but the amber is lost to me. It's certainly a sinful scent, no doubt about that, there is something distinctly naught about it. Unfortunately the combination just isn't quite for me, but I will find my imp a good home.

    Val Sans Retour

I was lucky to get a free imp of this in my last lab order. At first sniff, it's quite pine grove-y with a strong slathering of citrus underneath. After it's been on my skin for awhile it smells more like orange, with a lemony undertone and a smattering of pine. The new Disney ride, Soaring, which is at Epcot center (it's a smell interaction/simulator ride), shoots this exact smell at you when you are soaring over the orange grove. It's nice and fresh, cheery, and invigorating. I don't think this is one I will wear a lot, but i'm definitely holding on to the imp for now.

    House of Mirrors

This is a really unique ozoney, light scent. It's one of those smells that is really hard to describe, but it conjours images of the seaside shrouded in the perfumey twilight breezes. I generally don't go for these type scents, but this one is nice enough so I might keep it around for awhile and see if it grows on me.

    Bed of Nails

Although this one is supposed to be gender neutral, it strikes me as incredibly masculine right away. It's a sharp, bright, potent, cologne type scent. It is indeed rather "metallic" but is also a dark green scent for me. It's got somewhat of an aquatic quality as well. I think this will smell amazing on my man, but it's definitely not for me.

    Kunstkammer

This one is really fruity. I actually can't smell the pepper at all, which I'm glad about. It comes out really more like a deep cherry orange scent on me. Sort of syrupy and very sweet, yet undershadowed by a dark, sinister note. I'm kind of on the fence about this one, on one hand it's kind of sexy and berrylicious, on the other hand it has a bit of a cough syrup effect on me. I'll have to ponder my bottle for awhile...

    Geek

This is a really complex blend. It smells differently every time I sniff my wrist. I would say that the leather is probably the most dominant note on me, with the cinnamon bark close behind. It's a spicy, sassy, sharp blend. My fiance snatched up my bottle of this before I could even try it, he loves it. Good thing, because it's probably not for me.

    Bearded Lady

This one is so lovely! A beautiful mix of florals with a creamy, vanilla base. The jasmine and the honeysuckle are the top floral notes on me, and the vanilla base is potent, commanding and extravagent. It's more like the smell of vanilla that you cook with, strong but compelling. In my opinion, another masterpiece by Beth. I love it, I am so glad I got a bottle of this gorgeous elixir.

    Fire Eater

I'm amazed that everyone is getting a "strong floral" from this because for me, it's more of a spicy, red incensey smell. There is a floral base, but it is overshadowed by a musky reddness, sort of a patchouli type head shop note. It reminds me of smoke, which I guess is extremely appropriate for Fire eater. It's not my favorite, but overall a very nice scent, gender neutral quite pleasant.

    Freak Show

My first thought: smells like fresh fruit cake! It's very yummy, definitely foody but hard for me to pick out the individual notes. Sort of a lovely jumble of baked and fruity delights. I think I can smell the tonka, cocoa, and honey more than the others. I love it, delicious and addictive, so glad I got a bottle, YUM!

    Snake Charmer

Oh yuuum, I am in love already. A beautiful, sweet, decadent vanilla scent. It's like a glorious mix of Snake Oil and Sugar Skull, absolutely gorgeous. The vanilla is the top note, and it's undershadowed by a wonderful, spicey plum, with just a hint of black coconut on the bottom. I can't say enough good things about this one, I wish I had ordered two bottles!

    De Sade

Yup, definitely delivers what it promises. Reminds me of my horse show days, when I was sitting around at the end of the day cleaning my saddle and bridle. While nostalgic for me, not something I would choose to wear as a scent. I sure for leather lovers, this is the end all, be all of leather scents

    Moscow

A really lovely, perfumey floral. The carnation, jasmine and lily probably stand out the most on me, a truly beautiful combination. My only complaint is that this one doesn't have much throw or strength. But then, that's the way it goes with my skin and most of the light, delicate florals. Beautiful, yet fleeting.

    Kostnice

This is an earthy, woody scent for me. The frankincense is definitely the top note, with a creeping of rosewood underneath. It's sort of a generic, cedar chest scent for me, not really notes that suit my skin. Makes me think a bit too much of clean smelling satchels for your sock drawer. I will find him a better home.

    Machu Picchu

Whoa! Talk about sweet! This reminds me of the Simpsons episode where Homer is at a bar in Brazil and asks for a drink made of all their sweetest fruit. He takes a sip and yells, "sweet, Sweet, SWEET!!!" And then rinses his mouth out with sand. While Machu Picchu might be a bit overly sweet, it's still an enchanting scent, and the background notes of amber and mountain breezes makes it quite complex. I shall ponder my imp awhile to see if I need more...

    Buck Moon

This is a really different one, I've never smelled anything quite like this before. It actually conjours images of fuzzy, brown antlers and forests. It's a light brown scent for me, earthy and woodsy but in a soft sort of way. It's light but long lasting, and what i would traditionally categorize as masculine. This one's not for me, but my man snatched up the bottle right away

    Love in the Asylum

When first applied I immediately smelled the roses, but they were fleeting. This is a magically morphing scent, a definite shapeshifter. After the roses, it goes fruity, almost berrylicious on me. Now an hour later, it has softened up to a lovely carnation and tonka bean. All together a very nice scent, perhaps not as hardcore as I had expected for Love in the Asylum, but a beautiful surprise all the same. Very pretty

    Dragon's Musk

A very sexy, dark, seductive, naughty blend of dragon's blood. The musks and the dragon's blood are perfectly balanced, neither one overshadows the other. A perfect co-existance. This is a deep red, seductress, dark goddess type scent. Wear this one to be a dominatrix for the night. Love it, bravo.

    Dragon's Hide

I love dragon's blood, but I really don't like leather. This one goes straight leather on me, with a faint hint of the dragon's blood floating in the background. Smells like a cowboy who has been burning incense. Ugh, just not for me.
