A dark green, woodsy scent. The mossy base is quite evident, and I can also really smell the vetiver. I can't detect the nutmeg, but there is definitely a hint of pepper. It's a dark, foreboding, many leveled scent. I think this would be lovely on a guy. Maybe I'll try it on mine!

Well I honestly don't know what this smells like, but man do I like it! It's light, airy, mysterious, feminine and enchanting. It's a white floral, but there's a wonderful breath of soft, perfumey goodness. This is what a moon goddess would smell like. Thanks so much to Gin for providing me with an imp. I've waited so long to try this one, definitely worth the wait.

A wonderful, sweet, addictive scent. I can smell both the cherries and the almond that others have noticed, but oddly, it's overall not what I generally think of as foody. It's a perfumey, dark sort of cherry, evil and sexy. God it's an awesome smell, I can't stop sniffing my wrists! There's an underlying sugar smell, or maybe it's vanilla, like the undertone that comes out on me when I wear snake oil. What a fabulous signature scent for the lab! I love love love it! Already added to my 5 ml wishlist.

... The scent is one of unadulterated spiritual purity, with a taste of the world's eternal pathos, and the joy of suffering with grace: frankincense, olive, spikenard, hyssop and galangal. Wow, I have no idea what spikenard, hyssop, and galangal smell like, but this oil smells wonderful. It's got a light, fruity feel to it, a bit like Corazon does. I can smell the olive, and it's lovely. It's not the olive smell you expect when you crack a jar of olives from your fridge, it's a sweet, light, heavenly olive like in The Body Shop's Olive Glossing Shampoo. I am so pleasantly surprised with this one, I got it as a freebie and I probably never would have tried it. It's right down my ally, gentle, green, planty, fruity and innocent. I think I need a 5ml!!!

A strongly aquatic, refined gentleman's cologne. It's sharp and clean and reminiscent of a father's aftershave. It's a bit too much like stuff you can buy at the drugstore, I'm a bigger fan of the spicier, complex men's scents, like Skadi. But, don't get me wrong, I certainly wouldn't kick my man out of bed if he was wearing this.

A dark, smoky, sensual scent. There are elements of both florals and incense-y musks, there's a hint of an underlying spiciness. It's a complex scent, and there is some note in there that's just not agreeing with my body chemistry. I think it's one of the florals. This does perfectly embody the sacred whore, it does make me think of the inside of a bordello. It shall find my impie a lovely home.

This one is lovely. It's one of those scents that reminds me of something, but I can't put my finger on it. It actually comes out smelling a bit apple-y on me, which is strange. The wine note is lovely, its not the overpowering, real alcohol-y wine smell, its delicate and almost sweet. The roses and the violet make for a beautiful undertone. The overall effect is complex and feminine, I will certainly enjoy using up my imp. ADDED July 26: This is a sweet fruity, girly blend when first applied. The merlot is fruity, not alcoholy, and it's got a pleasant bite to it, not overwhelming. The roses are bright, strong and perfumey, which makes for a lovely duo of top notes. I can't smell the violet at all, thankfully, cause its not my fav. I can smell a bit of the leather, but it's really subtle and complimentary. The longer I wear it, the stronger the leather becomes. Overall, a really nice blend, I think I'll enjoy my imp.

I was lucky enough to score a bottle of this from a friendly forumite, I'm so glad I finally got to try it. It's a wondefully berry, spicy scent; glorious in its strength and staying power. The top notes on me are the apple cider and the blackberry wine, what a fabulous combination! The cider has such a nice cinnamon note to it, and the breath of myrrh and sage in the background create a lot of depth within the scent. It's a harvest time, apple bobbing, picking out pumpkins sort of scent. But definitely one I will wear all year round. Love it, the only trouble is, I can't get anymore!

A surprisingly wonderful blend. The top note on me is the rose, and it's so beautifully complimented by the juniper and the chamomile in the background. It's light, airy, feminine, and it makes me feel clean and girly. I'm so glad the lab stuck this one in my order as a freebie, rose blends are some of my favorites. Fans of Persephone and Whitechapel will probably love this one. Pefectly embodies what I would imagine Rome to smell like. Love it.

It's funny, I didn't realize this was supposed to be a men's cologne until I read the description! That's why my man likes it so much! I lovely scent, a perfect blend of Lavender, lilac, lime and citrus. I can smell each of the four notes, but they complimet eachother so exquisitely. This is definitely not too masculine for women; I will surely be using this imp as much as my man does!

The lab threw this in as a freebie in my last order, and it's one I probably wouldn't have thought to try, but I'm glad I did! It smells nothing like I thought it would. When first applied, it's surprisingly sweet, light and feminine! I guess that would be the dandelion, which I never realized smelled like that. On the drydown, the booze and tobacco start to come out a little, but they're not more than a shadow in the background. They add a lovely little kick. This is one of those magically morphing scents, which smells completely different after you wear it awhile. All in all, I like it very much. So glad the lab introduced me to roadhouse!

Ahhh, lotus and dragon's blood, what a fantastic combination. It's smooth and floral while at the same time corrupted by the incense of the dragon's blood. It's feminine, but strong as well as sexy. This makes me want to go buy every dragon's blood oil bpal makes. I love it, so glad a friendly forumite gave me this as a freebie!

This stuff is the real deal! Pure, green, spicy mistletoe. It's like Beth plucked a sprig of mistletoe of the Christmas hearth, liquified it and bottled it. Another perfect Yule smell, I love it! I'll be wearing this one all december.....

A modern incarnation of the Queen of Pentacles, or Disks, the Queen of the Thrones of Earth. Nurturing, warm and kind, she is practical, quiet and domesticated, and yet still ambitious, and possessed of the sensual lushness of Mother Earth. Soft, deep earth notes with myrrh, amber, pomegranate, dark incense, red currant, rose and vanilla. I think the top notes on me are the amber and the pomegranate, but this oil is so perfectly blended it's hard to say. The Queen is fruity and perfumey at the same time, like an innocent child with a corrupted core. Since my skin magnifies rose, that note has reared it's head to remind its there. Love it, what a perfect companion to the King of Clubs, who I fell in love with last night. My man and I will be quite a seductive pair wearing these two scents.....

Wow, I actually wasn't expecting to like this one, but I really do! Wet- my fiance said it smelled like cherries. Dark and seductive with a delightfully creamy undertone. On the drydown- the spiciness really comes out on my fiance's skin. I can really smell the almond and tobacco on me, as well as the vetiver. It's surprisingly....luscious! I love fig, I think that's whats contributing to that creamy, cherry undertone we're smelling. We are going to be fighting over this one! It definitely works on female skin too! SEXY!
-
Oh I love love love it! It's like a heady, women's perfume smeared with rose, lotus, and rain. It's quite complex on me, the rose is very prevalent, but there's a fresh, just rained type smell as an undertone. I'm not sure what a rain orchid is, but perhaps that's what I'm smelling. The longer I wear it, the sweeter the rose becomes. It's a sophisticated floral, not exactly innocent, but insanely sexy. Definitely has a bit of throw and sticking power. As a rose fan, I am certainly not disappointed with this one. Fabulous!

CCCXXXIV - Wow, a bright, sunny floral. Definitely a pink/yellow scent for me. I'm not very good at identifying specific notes without a description, but I'll do my best. Magnolia, rose, lily maybe? There might be a little jasmine in there too. It's very feminine and perfumey, quite lovely. CCXIII - Lo and behold, another bright floral! Good thing I'm a floral fan! This one's a bit deeper, oleander perhaps? There seems to be a touch of rose in here also. It's darkened up a bit by something, maybe violet and a hint of patchouli or something incensey. There may even be some wet fruits hiding in there somewhere. Another lovely one, I lucked out, I like both my Chaos Theories!
-
A lovely, smooth feminine scent. The most prevalent notes on me are the lily of the valley, the vanilla and sweet opium. The mandarin and sandalwood fade into the background. I like the fact that this one's a floral, but it has a lovely creamy, foodiness to it as well. It's scrumptious, I've waited so long to try this one, and it was worth the wait!
-
This is a very clean, woodsy scent for me. The sandalwood is the top note, and the rose quietly shadows underneath, accompanied by the patchouli. It's a cedar, wooden chest type scent. It makes me think of those scented wooden eggs my mom used to put on drawers and trunks to keep them fresh. I like this one, its simple, but also has a bit of moxie to it. This would be a lovely room scent, I'm gonna try it in my oil burner.

What a great scent combo! Dragon's blood softened by the golden sweetness of amber. It's musky, incensey, sweet and bold, all at the same time! I love it, I will probably wear this one when I want to feel sexy and mysterious. It gets better with every sniff! The only downfall: the oil is so red my impie is all stained up!
-
Ahhhh, I love Iambe. The amber makes such a glorious base for the florals. The notes that really come out on me are rose and gardeia, the others swirl together for a sweet, feminine background. I love amber and rose, this is such a lovely combination. Iambe makes me feel girly and cheery. I will certainly enjoy my impie!
-
Ooooohhh! Sooo wonderful! It's a beautiful, "just rained in the jungle" type smell. The florals are fabulous; so seductive and lush. I can just picture them growing up the side of Pele's volcano. This is a very soothing scent for me, perfectly balanced and not too sweet or too green. A perfect tribute to Pele, another amazing masterpiece. Love it!
-
The jasmine and myrrh are definitely the top notes. The combination of the two comes out amazingly smooth, and almost creamy for me. The rose is barely there, but shows enough to sweeten up the scent. This reminds me of old, antique places and dusty rooms full of treasures long forgotten. It's dark, but seductive and gentle at the same time. I will certainly enjoy my impie.
-
Definitely a bright green scent. It's an herbal, but not a sharp one. It's soft, soothing and lovely, maybe with even a little bit of a soapy undertone. It's a very, very light scent that clings closely to my skin. Is there a hint of lemon or lime in there? Maybe. All in all, extremely calming and lovely.

One of the loveliest rose blends yet! Smells like perfect, dew drenched pink roses on me. There is the slightest hint of the hazel undertone, but it's barely noticeable. It conjours images of haunted funeral homes, antique tableclothes, and roses on coffins. The first time I sniffed this imp, I just kind of nodded and put it aside. But now, the more I smell it, the more enticing it becomes....
