In the bottle WOW Too yummy. On It's like someone mixed Bastet with Eclipse. I like each of those quite a bit, in fact more than this blend. 30 minutes It turns spicier which is good, it smells better at this stage, not as strangely foody, just foody sweet and spicy. Throw: average Scent category: Foody Summary When wet on my skin it was very foody as Penance said in a cloying almond way. As it dried it became less cloying, just foody, sweet and spicy. Purchase again? No. I've got Eclipse, 3 Witches,and Bastet and I like them better. 1-5 rating (5 being best) 3

In the bottle lovely fruity powdery floral, something bright almost eucalyptus like but not quite. On Oh it's a lovely aquatic floral. I think that bright note is indeed heliotrope. Pisces is along the lines of Ophelia as stated in an earlier post on this thread. I say thank God for the sweetness. It is the perfect note to compliment the aquatics and the florals. 30 minutes It's gotten a bit more perfumey but nothing too strong nor too floral. It's still got the sweetness, the heliotrope and or the honeysuckle, and maybe even a bit of lotus. This is really pretty. Throw: average Scent category: floral/aqua Summary Powdery, lightly sweet fresh aquatic floral. Very much like "Ophelia" from the "Illyria" category. Pisces' scent lasts for hours on me. PS For you "Lush" lovers, the B Never store's scent called "B" is similar to Pisces in a certain way. Purchase again? Yes, a bottle if if were only possible. Luckily this scent is such that a little goes a long way. 1-5 rating (5 being best) 4.5

In the bottle Dark earth and some greenery. On Ooh this is nicer than I though it would be. I thought it would be more like Dunwich. But it's more like Zombi. 30 minutes It's lasts a long while, and it doesn't change much except maybe the juniper comes out more astringently but it's an even nicer balance with the dark earth smell. Throw: average Scent category: earthy/green Summary This is another great scent for the element of earth, this and Zombi seem to be my favorites of all the earth blends. Purchase again? In the bottle Hmm, smells like dragon's blood a bit. On The perfume itself is a dark purple. It smells kind of plum-y with cinnamon smell. I must be getting plum from the amber, it's sort of resinous, thick and sweet. I'm really liking this. The patchouli and the sandalwood are not the dominant ingredients on my skin, they're barely noticeable. Thus far anyway. 30 minutes Okay, the cinnamon is more dominant now but nothing off putting whatsoever. Sandalwood taking the secondary lead now when it's dry. The amber is still there as ever, holding things together with it's subtle sweetness. I'm so addicted to sniffing this. How is this better than King of Spades? How is that possible? They are similar I suppose, I dunno but I think "Sin" is as good or better. To think this was one of those "Oh I suppose I oughta smell that one" blends. This is proof to leave no stone unturned. Throw: average Scent category: resin/spicy Summary I can't type this for sniffing my wrist, let's just put it that way. Purchase again? Yes. 1-5 rating (5 being best) 4

In the bottle a watery floral On Why do I like this? It's very floral. I should not like this. It's sort of along the lines of Sea of Glass or Empyreal Mist but more of a dark green, and a bit more perfumey too. 30 minutes strongly aquatic and still floral, not sweet at all, it's as if all sweetness was sucked out. Throw: alot of throw on me Scent category: Aqua/floral Summary Great representation of Chuthlu. Very aquaeous, and floral and green. It's almost bitter in that kind of patchouli way..almost tangy. Purchase again? No. It's a good likeness to the Cthulu in my head from reading the book and stuff but, even though it's not his fault, it's just not my kinda scent. 1-5 rating (5 being best) 3.5

In the bottle OMG. I had no idea it was so...foody...and good. On Oh wow, it's like toffee and coffee and some butteriness, and dusty wood. Ooh something bitter underneath too but it's good. Ooh it's giving me a warm tummy, I can feel it going through me so it must have some kind of spice. It's warming. Very nice. 30 minutes It smells the same except the buttery goodness is gone. But the wood, albeit dusty, stays true and so does the dark coffee scent. Throw: a bit more than average Scent category: foody Summary It's just as you would think it would be. Purchase again? Yes. I would wear this during the winter at night when it was snowing to help feel warm. 1-5 rating (5 being best) 4 A great representation of M.U and it is also a comforting smell.

In the bottle Fruity floral honey On Oh why did I only get one bottle of this? It's buttery and honeyish which I didn't expect. I'll even say it's liqour-y too. There's definitely a spice or a "bang" to it. Unexpectedly wow. It's almost…fizzy. 30 minutes This is foody and has that yummy factor at least until it starts drying, then it's more herby. I'm pretty sure my skin hates me. Throw: a bit more than average. Scent category: Foody Summary This is a spicy honey that is headier than you'd think initially with sweet and spice it just turns a bit to floral for me. Turns more floral as it dries. Purchase again? I'm not sure yet. I'm right on the border on this blend. 1-5 rating (5 being best) 3.5

In the bottle Oh nice, sweeter than Pink Moon. On Wow. Let's see if it passes the 10 second rule. (Pink Moon did not) 30 minutes It smells herby. Throw: a bit more than average. Scent category: Fruity Summary It smells like a big sweet strawberry. But it does turn a little more green/herbal and more floral as well as it dries. It also fades quite a bit after about 20 minutes on my skin. Darn it. Purchase again? No 1-5 rating (5 being best) 3.5

In the bottle Surprsingly beautiful. Clean, crystalline. On Oh I love it. For a minute I sensed that pickle smell coming in and than it went underneath. It's as if I mixed "Dunwich" and "Tulzcha" but took out most of the mint. That's what this smells like exactly. It also makes it easier to breathe too I don't know if it's mint or champhor or what. 30 minutes The smell gets more flat and medicinal as it dries on my skin. Throw: a bit more than average Scent category: green/aqua Summary This is the 3rd "Dark Element" blend I've tried. "Inferno" and "Undertow" are on my top 20 of all time list so I expected good things from "Hurricane". I like it alot and I think it's a great representation of the element of air but I don't think it's as all out knock me out fabulous like the aforementioned blends. Purchase again? In the bottle weird astringent orange On Exactly like dry fresh herby orange tea. "Shanghai" is more perfumey than one would think. Pretty and fresh. 30 minutes It hasn't changed at all, still clean and orangey. If anything it's softer and that makes it even nicer in my opinion. Throw: average Scent category: fruity/herby Summary Nice orangey clean fresh blend. Purchase again? No. It's a nice one but there's so many nice orangey blends I like better. I tend to like them more resinous or candied peel type orange blends with spice but if you like clean fresh scents this might be what you're looking for. 1-5 rating (5 being best) 3.5

In the bottle clean, watery, fresh slightly floral On OMG. It's a creamy floral that is just out of this world gorgeous. I do smell a tiny bit of evergreen or pine or something now and maybe even cinnamon? 30 minutes Throw: More than average Scent category: pine/floral/aqua Summary Light, slightly spicy, fresh floral. Purchase again? Yes. 1-5 rating (5 being best) 4

In the bottle Nice fresh heather and the slightest touch of blackberry, not very sweet. On beautiful, slightly perfume-y but light on the blackberry, a touch of sweetness and the lovely fresh smell of heather. 30 minutes smells like a fresh floral should. Throw: a bit more than average Scent category: Fruity/floral Summary It's not as seet as you'd think, if you like herby, grassy, with a bit of muskiness and subtle blackberry, you'd like this. Purchase again? Yes. It doesn't replace my beloved "Bewitched" or anything but it's a nice option for wearing blackberry. 1-5 rating (5 being best) 3.5

In the bottle Heaven. On I'm just giddy with love for this blend. Previous to being gifted with this imp I had no idea "The Moon" was this good. I have no clue what's in this let's see; Jasmine? Oh it's absolutely alive, it's morphing, well not changing really but like ebbing and flowing like the tide. It's a powdery, sweet jasmine, and maybe white lotus ( I think everything has white lotus lately so take this guess with a pinch of salt) that is altogether perfumey, clean smelling and aqueous. It's lovely. 30 minutes Is there almond in this? Dunno. Throw: average Scent category: floral/aqueous Summary It's almost therapeutic to breathe it in. Just as Zombi is that for the earth and for grounding, this is the same. It's very calming in a watery way. And watery blends are typically not very calming to me, not like earth blends (I'm an Aries). This is not as strong of a scent as "Blue Moon" either. You know how Blue moon just gets you right in the 6th chakra ? Well "The Moon" is more along the lines of "Luna" in strength but "The Moon" is sweeter almost foody like "Snow White". Purchase again? Yes! A bottle if I could. 1-5 rating (5 being best) 4.5

In the bottle fruity/perfumey On rose, jasmine, water lily are the primary players on my skin. I don't smell the currant nor the sandalwood. Wow the violet leaf just sprang up though. 30 minutes The violet leaf is good and medium strong now so it balances the rose and jasmine providing more of a fresh scent to their strong perfumey floral scents. Throw: a bit more than average. Scent category: floral/fruity Summary It's more of a perfumey scent, and it is an airy and watery scent. Purchase again? No. It's nice, but too floral for me. 1-5 rating (5 is best) 3

In the bottle Nice, bright, sweet, fruity scent that has a light incense-y/foody throw. On The amber is most prevelant, followed by the rose, musk, sandalwood and bergamot. The nutmeg,saffron and mandarin are hard to smell. This is a nice sandalwood scent too, it's not too light, it's beautiful kind of as much as is in "Tushnamatay". Also, this is similar in category anyway to Seraglio too I think, except maybe less orange and more foody. 30 minutes Stays true to the scent it had when wet. Throw: more than average Scent category: fruity/foody/spicy/floral Summary This is primarily a foody floral. It lasts longer than some blends. It's orangey and sweet because of the amber. Purchase again? Yes. And I love orange blends, I love sandalwood and I love those eastern and middle eastern spices. 1-5 rating (5 being best) 4

In the bottle My whole last review is just gone, cuz something went down for a second. It smells like earth and patchouli or something. On It smells like else is in there like coffee? Toffee? Gingerbread! I'm glad I looked at the other posts. It's earth and gingerbread. 30 minutes Becomes stronger earthy and patchouli or whatever that other smell is and the gingerbread is still there but not as prevelant. Throw: average Scent category: Earthy/Foody Summary I always purr about the earthy blends because they are so grounding to me (Aries), and Penny Dreadful is no exception. It's a comforting blend of deep smelling earth, with a splash of vanilla and a gingerbread-like note . Purchase again? I would definitely use this whole imp up, but I probably won't purchase a bottle, I'd probably purchase Zombi before that. 1-5 rating (5 being best) 3.5

In the bottle Wow, sweeter than I thought. But not too sweet, pretty and fresh. On Yes, I totally smell rose in the same I smell it in "Seraglio". Similar but more bitter with the cactus flowers and the vetiver. 30 minutes It's doesn't morph a whole lot which is nice I guess. Throw: a bit more than average Scent category: floral/citrus Summary At first it's almost a resinous floral but the thick sweetness turns to an almost bitter lime quality. Purchase again? No, a little too bitter and astringent. 1-5 rating (5 being best) 3

juniper, sandalwood, rosewood, lilac, orchid, red musk, bergamot In the bottle interesting, astringent, sweet floral On juniper and rosewood are primary on me. I smell the orchid and lilac but they smell more vaguely "fresh". I like it, as I sit here and sniff it it grows on me, the lilac is starting to lend just enough powdery sweetness and the orchid too so as to lighten and freshen all the dark greenery and woody spice. Truly a great blend. It doesn't really have a particular "scent". I think it would work for people that don't normally wear anything. It's just a lightly sweet floral with some woody/green backtones. 30 minutes Hasn't changed. If anything it's just gotten a bit creamier. A mildly spicy/creamy floral. Throw: average Scent category: spicy/floral Summary It's so natural smelling and no one ingredient sticks out as to be offensive. I'd say it's a good one to enable new bpal users. He He. Purchase again? Yes. This leaves a pleasurable feeling. 1-5 rating (5 being best) 4

In the bottle Bright, orangey and herbal. Lovely. On I would never have thought it smelled like this. It's a real orangey/lemony and a bit herbal , it's so bright and cheerful. It's somewhat similar to Cheshire Cat. You know those blends that are just a pleasure to review, this is one of those. I would have said it is grapfruit had I not known that Beth can't get grapefruit. 30 minutes It stays as refreshingly citrus as it was wet. Good staying power for a citrus. Throw: average Scent category: citrus/herby Summary A full on orange/lemon/grapfruit smell with little herbies underneath. I don't smell the lavender per se, just general herbies. It must be blended well or there's not a lot. Purchase again? Yes, absolutely. A 5ml. 1-5 rating (5 being best) 4

in bottle Oh my, I feel a 5 star scent coming on. on Oh for the love of God, this is so good. Firstly, just now when i read for the first time that it smelled like love's baby soft, I think I may have wee'd my pants a little. I was a Love's jasmine fanatic (freak is more like it). And anyway after I read that post I hoped, I prayed, and while it may not smell exactly like it, it is BETTER. dry It gets stronger as it dries. The jasmine does. Wow, at this stage it's really smelling like Lush's "Flying Fox" shower gel...with a yummy vanilla top note. bpal scent category spicy/foody/floral throw average purchase again Yes, no question. I'm going to purchase a 10ml. If they don't have 10ml's of this I'll get a 5ml. rating 1-5 (5 being best) 4.5 Summary Stargazer Lily is one of my favorite smells. And the whole Love's Baby Soft Jasmine stuff is altogether making me swoon for this blend. I don't smell the sandalwood, myrtle, musk nor the clove. *shrugs* It's a long lasting scent too which is great. And it's got this vanilla note that's so wonderful with the primary notes; heady jasmine, and stargazer....Ohh.

in bottle foody floral on This is surprisngly nice. it's sort of amberish or resinous, dragon's blood I suppose. There seems to be vanilla in here as well. The poster above saying it's the color red is spot on. Darkish red. And the person who mentioned bubble bath is spot on too. I totally smelled that when i first put it on. It's a warm, thick, romantic and comforting smell. dry It hasn't changed much. It's still a warm foody floral. bpal scent category foody/resin/ floral throw average purchase again No. rating 1-5 (5 being best) 3.5 Summary I'd say it smells like it sounds. It's almost a rose floral but not quite, and then it adds some warm resinous note, and a vanillary foodiness as well.

in bottle light floral on more perfumey than I thought it would be. I don't smell the cardomom really, nor the sandalwood, mostly the florals. dry It's a lovely floral when it dries, it's like Endymion with more jasmine and sandalwood (when dry). bpal scent category spicy/floral throw more than average purchase again No. I like Salome better. rating 1-5 (5 being best) 3.5 Summary It's a nice jasmine blend and a summer-y light floral.

in bottle OMG, like a combination of Snow White and Heataire. Just heavenly. on figs, and something fresh and green and pristine. So natural with just a hint of lushious fig underneath. Very appropriate. dry Oh no. Now it's a celery fiesta. Celery, with some smoke. Maybe the celery is being grilled I'm not sure. scent category green,aqua,fruity throw average purchase again Yes! A 10ml. No, not anymore, it doesn't dry well on me at all. rating 1-5 (5 being best) 3 Summary At the point before my chemistry turned it ever southward, I would've bought a 10ml or two of this, that's how good it was when first applied. I am so bummed that that glorious scent turned to celery because is was absolute perfection before that. I smite my body chemistry!

In the bottle Yes indeedy, mint, white pepper, and lightly cucumbery in the background. On Oh mother of God, this is good. It's less perfumey than Blue Moon, and along the line of Undertow quite a bit. It's that kind of icy that actually goes down into my lower lungs and stomach and I can feel it in my stomach the minute I put it on. Wow this is nice. 30 minutes Stays the same as when I first put it on. This has got some good staying power too. Throw: A bit more than average. Scent category: Herbal/foody Summary It's what everyone wants in a mint, it's not a sweet mint, it's powerfully bright and yes, seething. I like all the steely, burning, minty blends like "Pain" and "Undertow" and this blend is no exception. It's quite powerful acting on me. Purchase again? Yes! 1-5 rating (5 being best) 4

rose, violet, mint, sandalwood In the bottle salad with mint in it The person above hit it spot on with the "airy, pale, bright, crisp" descriptions. On This is so fresh and nice smelling, but it does still smell like salad. 30 minutes Still clean, grassy, fresh, herbal and only lightly minty. Throw: a bit more than average Scent category: herbal Summary It's a lovely clean grass-like scent. Lightly minty, not like in some blends. Purchase again? No, but only because if I had to choose, I prefer "The Apothecary" for that lovely fresh grass, herbally, clean scent. 1-5 rating (5 being best) 3.5
