Sweet, fresh water This is so lovely and clean, like just after a summer rain. You're not going anywhere near my swap pile, you little minx, you!
-
Cold, slushy scent with hints of juniper and berries. Oooh, the pine and cedar are hanging out in the background and there's a sweetness from the grasses that I really enjoy! I don't know how it can be dry and slushy at the same time, but the snow is slushy and the cedar/grasses are dry Gorgeous, just gorgeous! I knew I should have sprung for a bottle...

Woah! This is a strong one Smelled kind of like licorice gone bad at first. After drying it smells...fuzzy! I've never had a perfume smell fuzzy before. Purple fuzz with strong slashes of lavender, mint, citrus and something really snarly and herby that might be the pennyroyal. Powerful.

Running away! This is not good at all on me. I can't even handle letting it sit to see if this awful cloying bubblegum, pink pepto bismol smells goes away. Yikes! Sounds like the aged version of this would go over better. Eek.

Very dark and almost musky with a hint of citrus bursting in the background. The longer this sits on me, the closer it gets to Snake oil with the spices and vnilla - not quite as lovely as SN, but hey what is? Dark, sweet, sexy. I love it!

Red musk is hit or miss with me depending on my monthly chemistry. Sometimes Scherezade smells amaing, sometimes meh. This one is at a meh point, but I can't tell if it's the timing of when I'm trying it. Some sweet ylang ylang in there also. Nice...but meh. I'll hold onto it and try again later. Edit: tried a different imp that I was frimped. I like this much better! Stronger red musk and patchouli.

Sweet and fresh lily of the valley and jasmine. Dries down to smell like the bushes outside my mom's house (Daphne I think...) that smell amazing and are the signature scent of spring at my mums. Really nice for a floral!
-
Tiki King is a smooth smelling blend of dark coconut husk with a hint of lemon, especially when wet. Very warm and dry blend. Reminds me of Elegba and I like it quite a bit! No sweet, foody coconut here

This one is indeed interesting...Medicinal, smells kind of light brown, slightly sweet in the background. Root-ish and calming. I like it but am also not sure how often I'd wear it. Nice to try, though.

I recently ended up with a decant of this and was a little worried about all the cinnamon mentioned. This one really does flicker like it says in the description on me. Light and fading in and out, there's a spicy, resinous warmth to it. Slightly powdery. Not bad, but not for me.

So sweet! The mandarin and mango are sweet and fruity while the musk gives it a little sparkle. Really nice! One of my favorite fruit scents I've tried so far
-
So beautiful I love pine, musk and juniper so this was a good bet! It's a lighter, sparkling Jabberwocky on me. If only the mister wasn't so specifically sensitive to pine! "Did you open some floor cleaner?" indeed Well....I love it!

The mosses take any sweetness out of the mints and I'm left with a slightly sharp, light green, airy scent. Invigorating This was a frimp from the lab and I' very grateful to have it!
-
I think this may have been a frimp and I was excited to try it. It's hard to pick out individual flower scents at first, just a nice light floral in general. Later I get the slight creaminess and rosier hue to the flowers. The spices rear their head and it's a pleasant smell. Not really my type, but nice

I can see why this is so popular, but the honey amps to a nauseating degree on my skin. I think it would be great in a scent locket though - very golden and lush. Not for me, though. Glad I finally tried this BPAL standard!

Sex in a bottle. I could have sworn, Sworn(!) that there was leather in this. I only remembered the "dust on your boots" part of the description when I tried this and that is what I got - leather and dust A light sweetness of something like meadow flowers so I would call this "sex in a field with leather pants." It's a new favorite!!

This went really strange on me....rootbeer Very spicy, sweet rootbeer! Kind of fun and after several hours dries down to cinnamon and nutmeg.
-
Started out very promising with the dusty spice of sandalwood and some musk. Unfortunately it dried into powdery lilies - those pesky buggers really love my skin. Too bad

This seemed like it would be such a good thing! I'm not sure where it went wrong, but all I get from wet to dry stage is a dark, bitter, brownish-red smell that reminds me of musty wood and varnish. Strange and not good. I can tell the red musk I adore from Scherezade is in there, and if it had been that plus the lemon and sugar notes I would have been in love. Alas, weird slightly rotten mango with varnished wood wins out. ETA: What a freaking morpher! This turned into lush, juicy mango and thick red musk after about an hour. Wow! Muuuuuch better! I just have to decide if it's worth suffering through the first hour

Ethereal and opalescent describe this to a T. A gentle, slightly effervescent blend of pale petals and soft amber. Doesn't go powdery, but is so light that it's not really my BPAL style. Very pretty, though! Sometimes this smells like vanilla tea with cream in it. Edit for spelling
-
Not bad. A little spicy, a little dark. For such strong notes it's a pretty subtle blend. Nothing really comes to the foreground though it's been lingering on my arm for several hours.
-
This is pretty much just powdery funeral flowers with a smidge of dirt stuck to their stems. Rats. I'll stick with Graveyard Dirt and Potter's Field for my dirty fun.
-
This one smells of burnt sugar and rum-soaked plums. Kind of weird, but nice. Good for the holidays, but probably not a keeper

Not good, Miss Parthenope, not good at all. Powdered floral from the get go. For hours and freaking hours... You're going to a new home tomorrow where hopefully they'll appreciate your strong and lingering presence.

This is sex in a bottle for me. Golden amber and musk with a rich, sweet, fruity(?) thrust that must be the almond blossom. Very strange, because I usually amp the almond note like there's no tomorrow and can't stand it. This is amazing, though! So glad I have a decant, because c'mon...who doesn't need sex in a bottle once in awhile
