This one is great! When I read the ingredients I thought "Well, this will never work on me..." It's beautiful, though. Very sweet with strong hyacinth and light wafting apple blossom and wet, juicy green apple in the background. Gorgeous and such a nice surprise!

Light and sweet Flowery in a tropical sort of way. Not bad, but not earth shattering. Fades to almost nothing very quickly on me.

This was rotting melon on me for quite awhile Not so good. I was really hoping the tobacco and juniper would come out and they peeked their head in the door after about an hour. The melon is still lurking though so this is not really a keeper for me. I'll give it another shot later, but then it's off to the swaps with you, Ogun!

Huckleberry and red currant with the incisive bite of neroli. Ewwwwww! I get sickly-sweet fruit punch from this. Not good! I didn't react well to Bordello and this reminds me of that experience. I've given this a good hour and now will be getting it the frack off my skin

Lots of the lemony citrus that overwhelmed Nyarlathotep for me. Here it works really well and dies down when it's completely overwhelmed by a rich, dark Snake-oil-sexy smell that is incredible!! This is a top ten for me Lasts and lasts too with great throw!

I too got a nose full of eucalyptus and pine when I opened the imp and first applied, but I love those scents! Unfortunately this died as soon as it dried. So light I reapplied ten minutes later with no luck. Just doesn't last on my skin Maybe good in a scent locket or room burner though!

A scent celebrating Sir Francis Dashwood's Order of the Knights of St. Francis of Wycombe, also known as the Hellfire Club. A swirl of pipe tobacco, hot leather, ambergris, dark musk and the lingering incense smoke from their Black Mass. Oh my god, this is one of the best BPAL's I've tried so far An amazing, manly, warm and sensual blend of tobacco and musk with a sweet background, but not so sweet as Herr Drosselmeyer that had an edge of maple syrup to it. Perfect! A new favorite, hands down.

Gorgeous! Dry, barren fields with a smattering of coffee grounds thrown in and a sweet aftertaste. I am really glad I grabbed this - it was going to be a Christmas present for my brother who I'm trying to enable (he loves coffee, grass, and breakfast food - how perfect is this one?!?!) but I don't know if I can make myself give it up. It really has the dry summer grass smell I've been looking for.

This is wonderfully fresh and green with the herby, fern scent reminiscent of Caliban. I don't get grass or moss exactly, just something very green and lush.
-
Hehehehe pine and eucalyptus alright when wet! Ooh, the sweet orange is coming out a minute later. This seems like a perfect Christmas time scent - this is what those holiday candles in the mall WISH they smelled like Ack! This is so good. Buoyant and fresh with a dark depth that makes me think of curling up in a fort of pine boughs. Fantastic!

I have completely struck out on all the Marchen's I thought I'd love Ah well! Time to try the others instead I guess. This one was alright enough, a blend of aquatic and rose when I was crossing my fingers for the gold and rose. Not bad, just not amazing.

I can see why some people rave about this one. It is perfect! An amazing blend of tobacco, wood and vanilla. Not too sweet and extremely dark. I LOVE it on the husband also. I'm going to use any excuse I can to get this on either one of us -
Ye gods this is gorgeous! Absolutely gorgeous Sweet, deep and rich. Very golden smelling and just incredibly pleasant to have one. I can't wuit sniffing my arm!

Mmm, vetivery goodness. That's all this is at first, but it eventually fades to a light manly smell with hints of cedar. Nice - but not much throw or staying power.
-
In the imp this is overwhelming sweet grape. Once it starts to dry though it's a playful, lightly fruity, honeyed scent. Very pleasant - reminds me of frozen grapes, the same cool, refreshing scent and it almost sparkles

This is awesome! I was a little afraid of the boozy BPAL's after Mad Sweeney and I didn't hit it off. This is a sweet and light mint julep, though! Very refreshing. Glad I have a few imps of this puppy.

This is utterly bizarre. I get no wood or tree at all, only sweet tropical flowers. Wiiiiiierd... I think I'll try this one again later, because the nose is not agreeing with the scent description in any way, shape or form. edit - a month or so later aaaaand.... now I get some of the herbs and wood and no flowers, must have been a strange moment in my monthly chemistry.

Hmmm, aquatic with an edge of decay. I like this! Th eaquatics are hit or miss with me since I amp them like nobody's business, but whatever murky greenery is lurking in the background is really working. Very evocative of a swamp in a good way

I expected to get a strong dose of the warm pumpkin from my favorite Halloween blends like Pumpkin II '08 or Pumpkin IV '07, but this is pretty subtle. Sitll, warm and a little spicy - this is a great fall scent.
-
This one is all salty aquatic and sweet blood. A little green vine smell at first, but the blood and aquatic just isn't working on me for some reason. Strong, though.
-
Oh how I wish I got the smoke everyone is talking about with this one! All I get is the cardamom, nutmeg and black pepper that makes me smell like the pickling spices I got from Mama-ji. I would have loved to smell like a campfire Back to Agnes Nutter...

Hi sage, hi basil. Hopefully this is going to move a little away from completely herbal in a few moments... Getting the ambergris after about 15 min. that adds some warmth with a tinge of wine. This gets more and more complex the longer I let it sit. Turning a bot powdery though Sweet and still very pleasant! Not a keeper for me though - I was really wanting more leather and musk. Darn you, skin.

Dryer sheets in a very good way I personally love the smell of some laundry detergents/dryer sheets, and this is the ultimate cozy one! Fresh and lovely.
-
This isn't too bad!n the imp I smelled my nemesis, the dreaded green tea. But on my skin I get the clean, freshness of the green tea with a spiciness of aftershave that actually is very nice So no Embalming Fluid for me, but Herbert West works out - yay!

This smells like dried tea roses. Beautiful! There's a darkness to it I don't usually get in the BPAL rose blends that gives it a fantastic earthiness. The moss is wonderful, I just wish I got more actual dirt.
