    All Night Long

Very much CINNAMON upon application to skin. And something a little sinister...like vetiver perhaps? I'm also getting a smattering of spices like nutmeg, clove, and black pepper.

    Eros

Myrrh, lilac, and honey wine with crimson tea leaf and sweet resins. This is a beautiful sweet honeyed wine scent on my skin with a dusting of myrrh. Resinous and deep. A keeper and definitely bottle worthy.

    Antony

Just a lovely blending of leather, frankincense, and sage on my skin. I guess it's a bit masculine, but I'd definitely wear it in a heartbeat. It's lightly sweet herbal and leather on the dry down.

    Aeronwen

This starts out as mostly fig on my skin. It turns a bit smoky on my skin and I pick up a bit of the sweet orange. It's soft but not faint on my skin. Dusty and slightly sweet. I plan to purchase a bottle of this stuff soon.

    Summer's Last Will and Testament

Starts out with the Blood Orange note being the strongest. After a few minutes, I pick up amber and myrrh notes. And then it turns more towards lemon. Dries down to mainly citrus with a touch of floral. A bit powdery too.

    Shadowless like Silence

Wet on the skin, I'm getting wood and almost a molasses note. Sweet and sometimes borders on turning into baby powder note of death. Definitely reminds me of Fall.

    The Last Rose of Summer

Wet on my skin it's sandalwood, rose, and frankincense. I begin to sniff the orris root as it begins to dry along with a wood note of some sort. Very dusty and sexy smelling on the skin. Glad I took a chance and bought a bottle before my decant arrived.

    Pumpkin III (2009)

This is one is all pumpkin and fir on my skin. The fir overwhelms the pumpkin as it dries and begins to smell more like a Yule blend than a Weenie. This is probably the only one of the Pumpkin Patch this year that I am not so fond of.

    Pumpkin II (2009)

This blend is a perfect balance of pumpkin and tea rose on my skin. Rose and I are kind of iffy sometimes, but this blend sort of works on me. Just not sure if I love it enough for a bottle. Will have to think about...

    Lord Ruthven

This scent is quite bitter and smoky on my skin. My skin is reacting very much like it does with most brimstone and/or vetiver notes, despite there not being either of those in this blend. This one is just a bit too intense for me and VERY masculine.

    Perle von Mauren

Initially, it's mostly heliotrope on my skin. As it begins to dry, I pick up the dirt note as well, but it's not overwhelming. This is a pretty light scent with little throw and fades quickly on my skin.

    Countess Dolingen of Gratz

Aquatic ozone is my initial impressions after applying to my skin. As the oil begins to dry, I pick up the Cypress note as well. It does remind me of a heavy storm, but not really for me.

    Pumpkin I (2009)

This one is quite the yummy Pumpkin scent. The almond note goes a bit cherry on me, but I like that combined with the pumpkin note. I can't really distinguish the honey note, other than thinking it probably adds to the sweetness of this scent. I surprised myself in wanting to get a full bottle of this after sampling my decant.

    Sarah

On my skin, I am getting ozone and dirt. I get a soapy quality to it as well. As it dries, I am picking up a floral note. This isn't really anything I see myself wearing regularly.

    Clarimonde

This is one of the best rose blends I have ever tried. It's a very soft unobtrusive rose skin musk. It doesn't go powdery, as a lot of rose notes do on my skin and has just a bit of sweetness to it. Makes me feel so pretty wearing it.

    The Girl

On my skin, this blend is best described as Ylang Ylang, Soft Musk, and Vanilla. I get no Jasmine, which is good for me as that can be a death note on my skin. I'm definitely considering a full bottle of this scent.

    Mircalla, Countess Karnstein

This is all red musk and clove on my skin upon initial application. As the oil settles into my skin, I pick up the smoky vanilla note. The patchouli note is not coming out on my skin and I'm just barely registering the frankincense. Very deep, resinous and I'm sure will age nicely.

    Ariadne Brunnell

This is a light, sweet floral fragrance with just a touch of earth mixed in. Lily is the strongest floral note I pick out on my skin. Very delicate on my skin and mild throw. I love my decant, but will probably not pursue a bottle of this.

    Cristina

This starts out on my skin as a nutty caramel scent. I also pick up an Incense note a couple minutes after application. It dries down to chestnuts, a little juniper, sharp musk, and incense. I'm surprised by how much I really like this blend.

    Julia Stone

Wet on my skin, cucumber and linen on me as well. I am also getting a slight metallic note with this one as well. Definitely no rotting, decaying note as I had feared. It's actually kind of the opposite on my skin. Goes a bit smoky as it dries on my skin, but then that fades and I once again get cucumbers and linen. I'll keep my decant, but I don't need a full bottle.

    Lambs-Wool

I only ordered a decant of this one to try because of the milk note. Milk notes and my skin tend to not get along very well. Milk blend tend to smell sour and spoiled on me. I'm happy to say though that in this case, the Milk Note and my skin have reached a temporary truce. This one is best characterized as spiced apple cider on me. I'm not really getting the Creepy comparison other than the fact they both have apple notes in them. While Creepy is caramel apples on my skin, Lambs-Wool is distinctly apples, clove, and nutmeg on me. And I am quite pleased to report that I get no "milky" note on my skin with this perfume. I'll be thinking about whether or not I need an entire bottle of this before I place my next order with the lab.

    The Hell-Gate Of Ireland

This was a huge surprise for me as well. I ordered a decant just for the sake of trying it, never figuring I'd think twice about a bottle, but I have to say that I believe I might be getting a bottle of this in my next order after all. Despite the notes, this is not nearly as "dark" as I had feared. It's a deep, resinous clove and musk scent. And I agree with others that this will probably be divine as it ages. On my skin, this starts out as cloves and black musk. The brimstone note is not at all like most brimstone notes are on my skin. It adds a faint smoky quality to the blend along with a dash of bitterness to balance the clove note on my skin. As it begins to dry, the brimstone does amp a bit for a few minutes and then eventually settles back to faint smoke. The clove note is what really makes this blend work so well on my skin. Good throw and good staying power on my skin.

What do bottles and labels look like?

Nice pics. Sounds like the Literary Vamps labels have different versions, color and black/white? Cool.
  25. "Shipped" on CCNow doesn't mean the order is actually shipped. It only means the lab has harvested the order. You will get a CnS once it actually ships.
