Inside the bottle, sweet citrus. Wet on my skin, I get lime, lemon, and coconut notes. This is a very refreshing scent. Lots of throw.

Inside the imp, mostly floral, particularly Lily. On my skin, this is pretty much just floral. Sadly, I get no Snake Oil out of this blend. Just lots and lots of floral.

Inside the bottle, I sniff vetiver and coconut. On my skin, vetiver and coconut are top notes. Vanilla is there, but lies in the background. Vetiver used to be a guaranteed death note on my skin, but I am noticing that with the right combination of notes, it smells rather nice on my skin. Snake Oil comes out on the drydown. This is a wonderfully masculine blend, but not so masculine that it can't be worn by women as well. It's a lovely "dark" Snake Oil blend.

Inside the imp, light lemon and sugar fragrance. On my skin, this reminds me of lemon pound cake. The released version is one of my favorite GC blends. I'd say definitely more vanilla in the prototype than the released version and I don't get the lemon note in the released version that I am getting with this prototype.

Inside the bottle, Welch's Grape Soda. On my skin, starts out very purple grape on me. As it dries, less fruity grape and more grape wine scent. I really like this one, especially since there are not a lot of grape BPAL scents out there, making this one a real treat for me.

In the bottle, cherry licorice. Wet on my skin, this starts out as very intense cherry with a cinnamon twist. As it begins to dry, the cherry softens a little and I can now smell the licorice note again. It's a bit overwhelming at first, but once dry this stuff smells divine.

Inside the bottle, vanilla cream. On my skin, it has a bit of a milk-like scent right after application. As it begins to dry though, it softens to a warm vanilla cream scent. I feel like I need to layer it with something else though...

Inside the bottle, this is a very aquatic blend. On my skin, I pick up the salty ocean spray, marine plants, and wood notes. This one doesn't morph much from wet to dry stage. It always amazes me how spot on Beth gets these scents. It really does smell like a wooden coffin floating in the ocean.

Inside the imp, floral and very light herbs. On my skin, peonies at first overpower everything else. Tea notes quickly emerge. This dries down to a very light floral & tea scent on my skin.

Mandarin, tonka, saffron, black tea, cocoa, tobacco leaf, sanguine red musk and five classical herbs of conflict. Inside the imp, mandarin and red musk. On my skin, madarin is quite strong, but I also pick up the cocoa and black tea. The more it dries, the tobacco leaf note begins to emerge, but I'd have to characterize this scent as mostly mandarin and black tea.

Inside the imp, heavy jasmine. On the skin, jasmine. Ugh. And soap. Where's the bourbon vanilla? Where is the clove and musk? All I get is soapy jasmine perfume.

Inside the imp, patchouli mostly. On the skin, starts off all patchouli. Cedar note emerges first then the amber. Incense is light on my skin. This is mostly a woody patchouli blend on my skin.

Sniffing the imp, it does remind me of a summer thunderstorm. On the skin, aquatic notes, faint floral, and ozone.

Inside the imp, very much ozone. On my skin, floral ozone. A bit of a citrus twist to it as well.

Inside the imp STRONG eucalyptus. On my skin, this smells more like medicine than perfume. Heavy eucalyptus and harsh mint herbal blend.

Inside the imp, heavy honey. On my skin, honey and ylang ylang definitely. This is perfume oil equivalent of BPTP's Lupanar Room Spray. Very heavy, thick scent.

Inside the imp, it's light fruit and floral. On my skin, fruit and green herbs. Goes a bit soapy on my skin the more it dries. This doesn't make much of an impression on me.

Inside the imp, wood and root. On the skin, fig and root are top notes. Wood note emerges on dry down. Not really getting anything "green" in this blend. Dries down to faint fig and root.

Inside the imp, light fruit musk and mint. On the skin, lime and mint, lily and white musk. On drydown, patchouli note emerges. Lime and white musk remain. No vetiver on my skin.

Inside the imp, aquatic and woody. On my skin, wood is top note. Leather emerges several seconds after application. I pick up a little of the bay rum, but this is mostly wood & leather on my skin.

Inside the imp, green and woody. On my skin, this is mostly herbal and green. I get more myrrh once the oil begins to dry.

Inside the imp, sharp lavender. On my skin, lavender and something resembling spicy bubble gum? I get a little rose on the drydown and this scent goes a bit soapy once completely dry.

Inside the imp, very faint fragrance...violets and clove. On my skin, much like it was in the imp. Violets are strongest note. Clove is there, but not as powerful as clove usually is on my skin. And I do get some spice, but not sure if this is the clove or something else. This scent goes wonky on my skin. Violets and clove are just not working for me.

Inside the bottle, I get that heavy, kind of sour milk note. Wet on the skin, heavy cream. Starts out a bitter sour too. (Milk notes are generally not friendly with my skin.) As it begins to dry the "sourness" does dissipate and I am left with vanilla cream. The cotton note just sort of wafts in and out of the scent on my skin. Sometimes I smell it, and other times this is just vanilla cream. I like it, but I am not sure I love it. Damn milk notes always make me second guess.
