    Violens

Inside the bottle, sandalwood and musk. Wet on the skin, musk and citrus initially. Sandalwood comes out almost immediately thereafter. No leather note while wet, though I do get the "dust". Dries down to sandalwood and spicy musk. The leather note eludes me with this scent. Sometimes, I can almost smell it and then just that fast it disappears.

    Sachs

Inside the bottle, vanilla and chamomile. Wet on the skin, bourbon vanilla immediately! Chamomile comes out shortly after application. Vanilla is very much the top note on my skin. Dries down to a rich vanilla scent on my skin, but not foody. I adore this one and can't stop sniffing the spot I applied it on my arm. Glad I have a bottle and still trying to convince myself that I don't need a second. This is a top-notch vanilla blend. One of my favorites!

    Sacrifice

Inside the bottle, it's the scent of oiled leather. Wet on my skin, the leather note is strongest, although I am definitely getting some cedar & sage as well. The tumbleweeds note is very similar to Velvet Bandito, but that's where the similarity ends for me. As it continues to dry, I do pick up a bit of dust and the slightest bit of smoke. There's also a hint of metallic in this blend, not sure if that is the blood or not, as blood notes tend to actually go sweet on my skin. Overall, I would describe it as mostly a "leather" blend, as that remains the strongest note on my skin from initial application through drying phase. This has somewhat of a masculine vibe to it, but definitely wearable for the women as well.

    Pumpkin V (2008)

Inside the imp, pumpkin and cranberry. On the skin, pumpkin and clove immediately after application. On drydown, this is spicy pumpkin, cranberry, frankincense, and carnation. I'm not really getting strawberry out of this blend.

    Parthenope

Honeysuckle, orris, moss, musk, benzoin, oakmoss, and star jasmine. Inside the imp, mostly honeysuckle. On my skin, honeysuckle and moss to start. Jasmine is faint on my skin. Dries down to powdery honeysuckle and musk.

    Les Bijoux

Inside the imp, I'm smelling rose, skin musk, and orange blossom. On the skin, orange blossom straight away mixed with myrrh. As it dries, the peach note is faint. Rose emerges but is very tempered. Orange Blossom is still primary note on my skin, although it is not at all overpowering. This is a faint scent on my skin with little throw and not much staying power. Dries down to light musk and orange blossom with faint swirls of rose. I never got any apple and very little frankincense or myrrh after initial application.

    Y'ha-nthlei

Inside the imp, aquatic herbal notes. On the skin, soapy aquatic. Not really getting the strong eucalyptus throw I usually get on my skin. This scent is not offensive to my nose, but it's not my kind of scent either.

    Phobos

Inside the imp, I'm getting lemon and grapefruit. On the skin, this starts out as tart, fresh squeezed lemon juice. Have I mentioned how much I like adore lemon notes? Through drydown, this is staying very firmly lemon and light musk. I really can't even detect the grapefruit note that I smelled inside the imp. I love this and really want to get a full bottle of it.

    Kathmandu

Inside the imp, cedar and exotic spices. On my skin, this starts out as spicy cedar and saffron. I'm really liking this so far... On drydown, I get a bit of root beer scent. Dries down to spiced cedar, saffron, and lotus. Very resinous and good throw.

    Hairy Toad Lily

Inside the imp, sweet lily. On my skin, this starts out very green. There's lily and something a bit like plum about midway through drying phase. This goes soapy on my skin as well one drydown.

    Under the Harvest Moon

Inside the bottle, sweet musk and florals. On my skin, this is deep, resinous scent. I'm picking up carnations and lavender more than roses. And the lavender is really subdued. (I usually amp lavender notes.) The carnations steal the show on my skin. Vanilla bean note gives this a slight hint of sweetness. Musk and amber are blended perfectly with the other notes. As it dries more, I pick up a little more rose and lavender, but this is still mostly a slightly creamy carnation musk scent on me.

    Trick or Treat

I've never tried the '05 version, but the '09 edition sniffing the bottle is kind of sickly smelling---sort of like something sweet that has spoiled in the fridge. It kind of made me not want to try it on my skin. I did finally skin test several hours after my first whiff from the bottle and it is much better once applied. On my skin, it's definitely foody. I get vanilla glaze and cookies out of this blend. It's really not smelling candy corn, but I still like it. I think I'm going to let this one sit for a month or so until we get closer to Halloween and see what it smells like then.

    Grandmother of Ghosts

Inside the imp, wood and pepper notes stand out to my nose. On the skin, woodsy pepper and floral. Hard for me to pick out the separate floral notes. They're just sort of mingled all together on my skin.

    Two, Five & Seven

Inside the imp, this is a soft rose....I think I smell the wine rose more than any other. On the skin, semi-sweet rose scent. I don't mind some rose notes in my perfume blends, but I can't really take ALL roses like this. It's just too much on my skin.

    Herbert West

Inside the imp, green floral. On the skin, green tea is strongest note. Very herbal on my skin. A little bitter.
  18. angelicruin

    Endymion

Inside the imp, it's mostly a rose scent to my nose. On the skin, pears and lilies to begin with. Rose note comes on strong a couple minutes after application. Dries to mostly faint rose & lily.

    Feeding The Dead

Inside the bottle, sweetened incense and cake. On my skin, this is much like it is in the bottle, but a bit less sweet. And this is not really foody on skin, despite there being a cake note. Not a lot of throw on my skin and fades a bit quickly on me.

    Creepy

Creepy 2009 Inside the bottle, strong caramel. On the skin, caramel apples. Definitely granny smith variety. More apple than I recall Creepy '06 being--I seem to recall that one being mostly caramel on my skin. And, yes, quite reminiscent of Sugar-Slathered Candied Apple.

    Suck It

Inside the bottle, cherry soda. Wet on my skin, cherries, but no brandy. On drydown, I get a little bit of brandy, but this is mostly all cherries on my skin. Looking forward to layering it with Bite Me.

    Bite Me

Inside the bottle, florals and caramel Wet on the skin, heavy almond note is the first note on my skin. Floral note emerges as almond tones down. This dries down to a light floral and almond scent with wafts of caramel.

    Pumpkin IV (2009)

Inside the bottle, pumpkin and myrrh. On my skin, tobacco comes right out on my skin along with pumpkin spice. As it dries, clove emerges. This dries down to a beautiful, resinous pumpkin spice tobacco.

    Pumpkin V (2009)

Sniffing the bottle, I immediately get pumpkin and coffee notes. Wet on the skin, pumpkin, coffee, and hazelnut. After a few minutes, the chocolate & vanilla notes are apparent. Dries down to spicy pumpkin coffee. If you love coffee notes, this is definitely not one to be missed!

    Pomona

Sniffing the bottle, this has a hint of chocolate and apples. Wet on the skin, apples and blackberries. As it begins to dry, the scent becomes slightly nutty with apples and blackberries still dominant. This is a lovely fruit scent that could be worn all year long.
