Gift imp from lovely forumite(thanks again!!) This isn't one that I'd noticed before & had no idea of the notes used, so... In the imp and 1st applied, LEMON! Freshly cut, crisp, clean lemon. Love the smell of fresh lemon, but don't want to smell like it. However, as it dried it did the most interesting thing...It morphed into what I can only call, Disneyland. Seriously, from the edible yummies to the fumes from the rides. Disneyland. With a hint of creamy vanilla underneath. I LOVE Disneyland so needless to say, I love Catherine I don't think I'll be getting a bottle but I'll definitely use the imp and probably keep at least one imp around just because of the feeling it evokes. Wears well, too! I've washed my hands numerous times(general, daily handwashing), and its still with me. Um, so yeah, Disneyland

In the imp and first applied--Honeysuckle! With a hint of rose/tea rose. Slightly tart but sweet. Dries down true to imp with a very subtle musk & spice. Is that geranium peeking through ever so quietly?? Stays w/me for hours & after a few, I get an ever so soft hint of jasmine. If that's jasmine, yay!! Its not overpowering all the other notes like it usually does Definitely evokes the image of a hummingbird flitting around hard at work. Wet, sweet but not too, and slightly green. LOVE this!! It inspires a happy, light-hearted feeling. Will report back after its put to work

In the imp and immediately after applying~light & fresh with definite muskiness(but not overpowering)...Orchid is dominating nicely, not getting *any* rose, which is strange since rose tends to be really strong on me. No lavender(yay!), a hint of frankincense, which I normally can't wear, huh... Dried down to a woodsy, floral, spicy finish. Reminds me of some "designer" perfume but I'm drawing a blank on which....*Maybe* Pleasures??? Overall its *very* light on me, to the point that it was hard to smell anything at all. Lovely, but too light and too...nondescriptive for me. Would be perfect if it stayed like it is at the wet stage

A VERY unexpected and delightful gift imp from a wonderful forumite who apparently reads minds This is one that I hadn't added to my wish list due to the rarity and also because, *sigh*, I just KNEW I'd adore it. I do 1/4 full impy so I sampled just a smear of this most precious fluid. Its all I knew it would be.... Sweet, yet not, floral & delicious, almost tart honey(and I don't mean that in a foody way). The scents of a warm, humid day, and yes, with lovely little bees buzing all around. Similar to O, but not quite. This has a feeling of ripe, dripping wet sex. Like O...not necessarily better, just...*swoon*.... Oh yeah, not only is it now on my imp wish list, I fear I need a bottle, or more, of this.

Gift imp from wonderful & generous forumite!! Wasn't sure about this one due to the juniper and white pine which are always just to me, sneezing, headache, etc. In the imp/wet~Pine & juniper *GAG*....but they *very* quickly fade into the background and the vanilla and amber come out to play *whew*, lol! Haven't picked up on the rosewood, as far as I can l tell at least, not familiar with that particular note. This is definitely more of a masculine scent but oh what a nice one!! Unlike ANY pine/juniper blend I've had the *displeasure* of experiencing. I do believe this will be wickedly delightful on Hubby

Gift imp from super sweet forumite!! In the imp and 1st applied~YUM...spicy, creamy vanilla with dragon's blood swirling all around. Reminds me of a subtler version of O, which I LOVE! Other than fading just a touch and turning a bit powdery(but not that icky sweet, old lady powdery), pretty much stayed true to what it is in the imp Definitely has a creamy, "milk" feel to it. Not sure yet if I'll get a big bottle but will for sure use up the yumminess in my imp!! ETA: Hours later...Sadly, and shockingly, this has ended up turning into a generic, soapy/powdery scent and is actually threatening to bring on a headache and sneezng What the??? Dragon's Blood & Vanilla?? On ME?? Unheard of!! Paint me ::STUNNED:: Oh well, at least my Blood Kiss & Blood Rose(which I love all on their own), layer beautifully!!

This is actually the first fig blend I've sampled and OMG!! I LOVE it! In imp and wet~warm, spicy vanilla clove. Stays that way through drydown and hours after w/definite "figgy-ness" swirling all around. Very rich. Definitely captures the comparison of a fig to "girly parts". Voluptuous, juicy, wet...bursting with swollen, sexual ripeness, aching desperately to be plucked. Yep, I'll be getting a big bottle

In imp and wet, spicy gardenia. Actually burned my nostrils, lol. Drydown, nothing but gardenia. After about 30 minutes, still strong, but now powdery, gardenia, with the addition of banana popsicle. Not sure I'll try this one again, probably straight to the swap pile.

In the imp/wet-Tootsie Rolls!! To the point of making my teeth ache Very interesting the way this one morphs as it dries. A *very* slight, tart cherry and then it changes into a rather generic, nondescriptive lightness. After a few minutes of that, it turned into a nice, subtle, chocolate-covered orange cream....then back to mostly chocolate but very light. It faded quite a bit after about 20 minutes & turned into a VERY light, orange sweet tart(candy) & there it stayed. Nice blend for the most part but doesn't seem to want to stay with me very long, about an hour or so.

Okay so I probably should've known better as I've never been a fan of mimosa... Wet: weird, medicinal(like a Dr.'s office), & soapy. Drydown: clove made an appearance for about 1/2 a sec and then was gone forever. Other than that, nothing but that medicinal soap thing going on About 15 minutes later, add powder to description above...then mostly all gone. Oh, and I can't stop sneezing.

grrrr....Was looking forward to REALLY liking this one. And although I do like it, as with w/Rapture, all jasmine on me. No rose, no myrrh...JASMINE. The myrrh *did* peek out for about 2 seconds and then, JASMINE. Disappeared completely after just a few minutes and then, "Fooled ya! Here I am AGAIN!!" JASMINE. As much as I like jasmine, guess I need to stay away from jasmine blends. Oh well. ADDED June 29: Spicy, musky jasmine. Really light and seems to want to fade quickly. Doesn't seem to matter what jasmine note is in a blend, 99% of the time, it overpowers everything else After about 10 minutes it mellows a bit but still no sign of the other notes. Love jasmine, but its a hog on my skin This one also gave me a headache, yay.

In the imp, JASMINE. Wet/on skin, JASMINE. Drydown and 2-3 plus hours later, JASMINE. I really like jasmine but I've discovered that if there's *any* at all in a blend, its going to overpower all the other notes. RUDE JASMINE!! Still, I'll give this one another try and hopefully, the other lovely notes will come out to play.

In the imp and right after applying~Rich, spicy sweet Dragon's Blood, YUM!! As it dries the rose comes shining through, wet & in full bloom. Not picking up on the wine. Other than perhaps a *very* subtle tartness. After 15-20 minutes it mostly rose. Which is what usually happens with me and any rose blends. However, this one didn't give me a headache or cause uncontrollable sneezing Possibly due to the Dragon's Blood resin, which has always been a favorite and works beautifully w/my chemistry. Nice throw & staying power. This one also reminds me of Persephone, although more...grown up & daring. Bolder. This is rich, sexual, bloody. Beautiful. ETA: Second time I put this on it was, "HEY KOOL AID!!". Mega-sweet grape kool aid to be exact(the wine, I imagine). But again, dried down to a beautiful, spicy sweet, wet rose. Layered it a bit of Blood Kiss and its even more beautiful Definitely going on the big bottle list. To wear alone *and* to layer when the mood strikes.

In the imp & wet, OMG, I LOVE it!! Sweet, spicy orange & honey, and gradually, the sandalwood peeks through in the most subtle of ways. After about 15 minutes or so the rose starts to flutter about beautifully. And no headache or sneezing from that lovely rose, yay!! This reminded me of Hunger, but not as "Here I am!!" (as Hunger). Beautiful blend but unfortunately, didn't stay with me very long. Maybe 30 minutes at most. Even though I don't guess I'll be getting a big bottle, this is a lovely blend for all seasons

I'm always a bit wary of blends w/rose because more often than not, I get the ickiest headache and can't stop sneezing. But I press on In the imp, strong, wet rose. On, still rose but as it dries the tartness of the yummy pomegranate peeks through. Only seems to add to the juicy wetness of the beautiful rose Now, at first, this *did* bring on a slight headache and plenty of sneezing, but it subsided soon enough. YAY!!! Haven't had this on long, an hour? *Maybe*...So far it hasn't faded a bit & is mostly rose on me. Feminine but not "girly". Lovely blend! Not sure if I'll get a big bottle, yet...Will try it again in a couple of days & I'll for sure use my imp!!

I figured the lab is aware of it and its nothing out of the usual. But since its my first "official" order, thought I'd ask to be sure So, when the same thing happens w/my second order(placed earlier today, lol), I won't worry. Thanks!!

Resurrecting this because I just checked and my acct is showing the same thing... "expired" and the $ has been refunded. So....just leave it and trust that this is the norm or do I need to email the lab to be sure?? CCNow order status is showing "Received/Waiting to be shipped".

The tobacco & balsam in this made me a little apprehensive about trying it even though I *love* the smell of a good tobacco That said, after paying closer attention to the other notes, the reviews and of course, all that Kali represents, I just HAD to give it a try. In the imp, lovely, rich tobacco, with a hint of sweetness. On/wet...a beautiful & heady medley of wine, creamy/milky honey & rose with the other notes swirling around in perfect background harmony. Dry, after about an hour, seemed to fade to almost nothing But then...almost suddenly, comes back for the longest of encores. On me, up close(wrist up my nose, lol), very faint. But at arm's length, mmmmm.... Warm, rich & feminine w/o being overly sweet or floral. A very "womanly", voluptuous blend indeed. Seductive & threatening to turn dangerous at any given moment. This is truly a work of art... Needless to say, onto the big bottle list it goes.

Frimpie sent by Northernminx(thanks again!!) Never would've tried this on my own but glad I got the chance! In the vial, very sweet, like cherry kool-aid but very appealing. On, it quickly turned to a warm, not as sweet spice, very yummy! As it dried it kinda tingled on my wrists, which was interesting. After a couple of hours it turned to a light, almost powdery, cherry/orange, baby aspirin type scent but not medicinal in any way. Can't really say I could pick out individual notes... I don't think I'll be getting a big bottle, but I'll definitely enjoy the imp

In the imp~sweet with carnation coming through nicely, very promising. When I put it on the musk takes over, which isn't a bad thing, but quickly gave me a headache and reminded me of how much I hate the fragrance aisles in dept. stores. Oh well.

Lovely upon opening the imp! A warm, spicy, almost cinnamon...Hint of myrrh as it dries. Ends up smelling very soapy and threatens to make me sneeze, but not quite. And there's a touch of what almost strikes me as patchouli, or rather, patchouli-like Doesn't stick around long at all. I like this enough wet that I'll try it again in a few days and hope I get a better result

Wet, dragon's blood(which I love), but just a hint. As it dried I picked up a little bit of lilac but this has quickly turned into a strong, soapy smell, & its staying that way. Like the washing detergent aisle Unusual, as dragon's blood generally works on me. Oh well.

Immediately, cherries, sweet syrupy cherries *worried*... Drying, the sweetness fades and I can briefly pick up the other notes now and again. Touch of vanilla here, honey there... I was SO hoping to love this and I *think* I do. Only wish it would hang around long enough for me to appreciate it more. Maybe layered w/O or Bordello... Final verdict: I'm going to use my imp & try layering. Otherwise, alone, goes from uber cherry sweet to absolutely yummy, then gone. Within minutes ETA: I LOVE this!! Already ordered a bottle

Ahhh, the ever popular Snake Oil Amazing I'd not tried this one before. Reminded me immediately of O but lighter. Warm, spicy vanilla, sweet but not icky sweet at all. Stayed true through drydown but faded quickly. Added it to my "get a big bottle" list because layered w/Bordello, SO very yummy! Creamy, sexywethotsex warm, spice...delightful!! Also picked up a hint of cinnamon when layered, interesting... Also layered, lasts and lasts.... Yep, this one is big bottle worthy

At first, candy sweet, cloying... Sweetness fades a bit upon drying & then mostly amaretto with the other notes making a fleeting appearance here and there. I like it! Which is interesting, not usually too keen on amaretto but the other notes make it just right The wine is what I get the least of, its more of a "feel" that its there, if that makes any sense. Definitely lusty and....succulent...sticky hot & humid, in the best of ways...like the sticky heat of naked bodies during and after a *tear each other's clothes off, close to raunchy* "encounter"~YUM! This one, so far, stays with you(okay me) for a good while Its *trying* to give me a headache(stupid allergies) but I like this enough that I'm going to use my imp & probably, eventually, get a bottle. :update: Hours later, I'm in love...Definitely on the *must have a big bottle* list!! On a whim, layered it with Snake Oil and oh my!!! Even better!! Everything I said before, oh yeah!!
