Creamy sweet rose petals! Plus some...little hints of raspberry and currant, like you just ate a dessert with those, and you're next to a rose bush, but the bush also has sweet luxurious cream flowing around it in some sort of fountain. This is really pretty, and I could wear it to teach a graduate seminar on medieval romance, or something like that - fruit-floral + sweet cream, professional but interesting, more stately and plush than flirtatious or dramatic, but still more intriguing than an average commercial scent.

This is...also...oddly...reminding me of some other older BPAL, something with sweet apples and fruits...something from the 2010s era...this is what I get for dropping out of the BPAL scene for a decade, ahaha! I get sweet red strawberry + sweet crisp apple, more strawberry than apple, but I do get both. My childhood hometown has a Strawberry Festival, and this is like the sweetest best small ripe berry, no insipid grocery store imitations, please! Plus that sweet, not-at-all-tart apple. I don't really get the cream or amber here, but I'm not mad about it; I like this. It feels very springtime to me!

Ooh...spicy cherry-strawberry liqueur! Spicy as in cinnamon and clove, not, like, hot sauce. 😛 This is very fun and I keep sniffing my arm just to smell it. I don't really get the amber; it's very spice+berry/cherry. It feels like a Lab throwback to me in a weird way - trying to place what scent it's reminding me of! Something about the classic BPAL spice/dark fruit combo... I like it, though it feels 'darker' to me than some of the other Love Bites - more autumnal, perhaps? Maybe it's the spices?

Dark sweet cherry and a swirl of tropical fruit! A hint of cream in the background, just enough to add some rounded, well, creaminess, but it's not overly dairy or buttery. I really like this one! (Also a lot of my husband's family is still in Manila, so we love it when the Lab does all the Filipino-inspired scents!)

Lemon, sugar, brandy, rum - exactly what you'd expect from a warm Victorian holiday punch-bowl! It's bright and festive and a little old-fashioned, and I've been reaching for it during the gloomy weather this week!

Mmm, this one's nice! I primarily get a thick creamy cheesecake, plus the same graham cracker note that's shown up in a few other scents lately. Not overly sweet, more creamy vanilla - I don't really get pumpkin, and I think the ube is contributing to the creamy not-too-sweetness, like a sweet potato pie, perhaps. I like it!

This goes on very big and loud: mostly coffee, plus the dark caramelized almost-burnt swirl of brown sugar. At first I don't get much vanilla or milk; I would like it to be a little more balanced. My husband really likes it though - he loves coffee! As it dries it gets a little sweeter; maybe some of the vanilla is sneaking in there. I like it better at this stage, I think!

This is primarily about the angel food cake on me: lightly sweet, airy, white cake! There's a little buttercream that's adding some sweetness and creaminess, and just a whisper of slightly artificial strawberry - not artificial in a bad way, more like, well, exactly when you have a scented lip gloss or chapstick, and it's got that hint of wax/solidity to it. But, again, that part's very light; on me it really is mostly light white cake and some buttercream. Which is actually very nice, if you want an uncomplicated fluffy white cake scent! This seems like it'll be good for layering with other scents, too.

Oh, first! Let's see... Very pink, sweet, sugary strawberry, indeed! I don't really get the sufganiyot part; it's very much about the strawberry preserves with extra sugar and the addition of marshmallow: a distinctly fluffy airy creamy marshmallow. Fun and sweet - if you think you'll like this one, and you like candied strawberries, you'll probably like it! Good throw so far, though I've only put a little on, as I'm testing a few.

2025 version! I couldn't find any other thread, even the older ones. Very similar to 2024, I think - sweet vanilla peppermint. Not as loud as some of the other years have been, and pretty much exactly what it says!

My husband and his whole family are Filipino, and we couldn't resist getting this one! (Though he says he'd spell it differently...maybe dialect variation...?) Big tropical flowers + sticky sweet desserts! This is a loud cheerful scent with a lot going on. I'm not typically a florals person but I was hoping the desserts would balance it out, and they kind of do, though it seems like everything's shouting! It's hard to pick out individual gourmand notes, but I do get banana (the cooked caramelized turon kind) and a sweet sticky rice like when my mother-in-law is making bibingka. It actually really does smell like we walked into her kitchen while she was making desserts for a party, and we happened to bring a big bouquet of tropical flowers with us. So if that sounds good to you, this is exactly that!

Agreed that it's similar to PS Hot Buttered Rum, except this version is lighter on the spice and more about brandy butter and creamy pumpkin. Not too boozy, just warm and golden. Good throw, and long-lasting!

Warm pumpkin bread - definitely a bread, not a cake! Plus, as everyone says above, a very clearly chocolate sprinkles note - super-realistic, down to the not-very-sweet kind of powdery quality! It's so nostalgic - childhood treats. This is a warm cozy domestic autumn scent, not too spiced or too sweet.

Malty, cozy, crumbly shortbread, cocoa (not super-sweet), and coffee, in that order. Good for cool weather!

White mint, the Lab's icy slush note, and citrus! I don't get the vanilla cream at all - I wish I did, because that would add some sweetness. But I do like it - it's crisp and refreshing, and wintry in a snow-and-citrus way (you know how oranges are associated with Christmas, and also lemon drops, and maybe citrus-y gumdrops? it's like that, with snow-slush) - so it's kind of a nice change from the usual peppermint or cinnamon or gourmand types. My bottle label has a misprint, just fyi for any others out there - the art and name on the front is right, and the scent is right, for Yellow Snowballs, but the description section on the side talks about a blood-red voluptuous rose! (Might be Peacock Queen?)

I was hoping someone else would pop in, as this is actually my first BPAL lotion! Scent: I really don't get pumpkin at all, which - as an autumn lover - I'm a wee bit sad about! I do get sweetness + red berries, which I'm not at all mad about because I like those notes as well. The currant adds a bit of tartness, which helps balance out the candyfloss / sugar note. I don't get much cream, though I do get the kind of sweet strawberry that's in other Lab blends (more a sugared syrupy berry than a pure straight-up berry). It's a lovely thickness that melts into my skin without being greasy or anything like that; I do think I see that the pump bottle is not the most efficient at getting the lotion out, perhaps. But the lotion itself is a luscious texture!

This is exactly what it promises! It's primarily a root beer - a kind of candy root beer, like those little barrel candies, which I think is because of the extra sweetness from the ice cream. I don't get a lot of pumpkin (and it's definitely not pumpkin spice!) - just a murmur of something warm and gourd-adjacent and creamy. Very fun, and I like it! The Husband: "you smell like...root beer candy? I like those candies!"
-
2025 version! I also don't get much pumpkin - it's primarily a honeyed sweet cream, which I'm not mad at! There's just a little whisper of something smoky in the background, along with a little whisper of pumpkin - not really pumpkin spice, but creamier. The reviewer above who mentioned condensed milk or dulce de leche - I think that's pretty close. Cozy, warm, a little caramelized, thick. I honestly really love it and want to snuggle up in it at home! Having said that...for some reason the Husband really dislikes this one! I think maybe it's the honey or else just the thickness of it? Both times I've put it on with him sitting next to me, he's gone, "oh, I don't like that one!" without even seeing the label! But *I* really like it, so I'm going to slather it on myself when he's not home.

I had been super-curious about this when it was an atmo, and didn't get around to ordering it then, and then it showed up in perfume form! So I had to, this time. I was worried the coffee would be too strong, but it really isn't - it's more pancakes and syrup but not too sweet, just a sort of...warm richness, if that makes sense? Almost more like dark brown sugar, where it's more about the flavor and less about the sweetness. There's a murmur of coffee that smells exactly the way good coffee should make the kitchen smell, and the whole thing is cozy and kitchen-in-sunlight-on-a-lazy-morning deliciousness. My husband, with a perplexed but happy face , said, "peanut butter pancakes?" (I also had Halloween Hagelslag on the other arm for testing, so, make of that what you will...)

Green, herbal, bright, and very clean, as everyone else is saying! I get the lime while it's wet, and I do really like BPAL lime notes in general, so that's nice. It fades to green grass in the fresh air, sunny and summer-drenched. I don't really get rocks or moss, unless the latter is contributing to the 'green' medley overall!

Oh, ice's post above reminded me that I never reviewed this (2024 version) - and I actually just put some on last week while reorganizing the stash! It's absolutely delightful - bright, sweet citrus + herbal lavender! It really does feel like an orange-lavender candy, as someone said above. I don't really get anise - wouldn't be mad about it as a note, but I can't pick it out - maybe mingling with the lavender? I love sweet citrus, so this is exactly my wheelhouse. I would've bought a backup but I have waaaaay too many bottles by now and need to finish some or rehome some!
