Sweet and smoky. I get the chai spices Laurel picked up. Also myrrh, perhaps.

This is a happy citrus dream. Yuzu and kumquat. It also kind of smells like Buddha Hand fruit to me. Sharp and yummy. People have compared this to Aizen-myoo. There are similarities. (If you like AM, you will like this.) But this more of a fresh, sharp scent than AM. This is hard and sparkly.

WINTERGREEN screams out at me from the bottle. Bracing and icy. I look forward to using this during my next cold with Hemlock. I'm waiting for flowers, but the all must be under the snow.

Yum! Lime sugar! I catch the faintest hint of lemongrass. But it's mostly a very fresh lime slice. This a very happy Shoggoth. Kind of like the plushy Cthulhu toys. ADDED May 3: This was interesting. When I got my imp - it was lime and some unidentifiable undernotes. I was underwhelmed. However, I'm a big Lovecraft fan so I hung on to it. It's been a few months and I took it out again today and WOW COCONUT! This smells like a whole new scent after aging. I'll be thinking about a bottle now.

This is wild. Melon and aquatic. Not bad, but very not me. The melon is really strong and it's not a scent I'm fond of.

Sweet and woody - but not pencil-like. This perfectly balanced - with no trailing notes. It stays that was on me too. Simple and yummy.

In the bottle this smells like smoke over flowers. On me, it quickly becomes all smoke. Interesting, but not a keeper.

As a scent this is lavender and spice - kind of like Chimera mixed with lavender. It is very peaceful. I am a cancer survivor and it left me with panic attacks. i'm always looking for better ways to address these. This seems to be destined to be a powerful tool im my arsenal.

I get a cider note too. In fact this really remonds me of the cider pumpkin patch - whihc was my favorite. Spicy and warm. This is my perfect fall scent.

In the bottle - buttery and oat-y. On me - mostly oats. I don't really like this. I don't get anything else. This may be one that needs to age. So I'm setting it aside for another sniff in a month. If it hasn't improved I'll have to find it a new home.

In the bottle: Grog aka Butter Rum Lifesavers. On me: after a few seconds, the apple joins the party. It's a golden delicious apple, round and yellow. It's perfect for about 5 minutes. And then it's gone. I can't smell anything at all anymore.

The keeper of secrets: opoponax, Tunisian black amber, night musk, antique patchouli, zdravetz, terebinth, myrrh, and Pimenta racemosa. I confess, my nose palate is not up to this. I smell patchouli and myrrh. Initially, it's sweet and spicy. I catch a note of somethng I can't identify, but I noticed it in Doc Constantine. I this. I know it's not supposed to be a female scent, but I really, really love it.

In the bottle: wood and something sour. On me: The cedar is overpowering everything else. I can pick up a slight hint of leather, but not much else. I'll have to try this on the husband.

I love that this is a different cherry than Beth normally uses - dark and sweet. In the bottle, this is a richer version of Blood with that strong spice note. On me the cassia scent kicks in and tries to take over. Then the lemon - Wow! I had a scent fight on my skin and the cherry lost.

In the bottle: almond and some kind of fruit note that isn't cherry. On me: sweet. I think that odd almost fruity note I'm catching is...pine? Very unusual - but not in a bad way. I'll have to try this a few more times.

I love this. It reminds me of a more adult version of Chimera. In the bottle: sticky buns with booze. On me: a hint of cider and spice comes out. Still very sticky bun. It's a soft skin scent.

In the bottle: This is the apple scent of my BPAL dreams. Sweet, with a shot of spice. On me: it stays a nice apple cider scent, with a small floral kick to make it more of a scent for perfume and less something to drink.

In the bottle: perfume-y in an exotic way. I can smell the myrrh and frankincense. On me I get a bit of civet. This is lovely and resin-y. It reminds me of Czernborg in some way. It's a very sweet scent with a good throw. As it dries, the myrrh becomes stronger.

Jacobs Ladder is my favorite amber. And if you wear it with confidence, you can carry anything off

Very perfume-like. I smell the myrrh and frankincense. Whoa - my skin is getting a bit red. Cardemom may not agree with me...

Dark woods - this is a dark and mysterious but enticing smell. So rich and rare! On, I do get a bit of baby powder. That must be one wealthy baby.

Wow - juniper and cleaning fluid! This almost burns my nose. It mellows out a bit on, but it still smells very sharp. It maybe the aquatics which I don't always react well too.

Red wine, gurjum balsam, dark myrrh, honey, cassia, lemongrass, palmarosa, elemi, cognac and olibanum. In the bottle: Tea - really really strong tea and spices. Also notes of tobacco, what I think is the cognac, and myrrh. On me all spiced tea and cassia. This is really strong. I can't decide if I like it or not.
