On me it's grape koolaid and rose. I guess I'm not ready for the grownups table. Swappity swap!
-
This is my best rose yet. Not overpowering, just soft, beautiful, and innocent.
-
Definately aquatic. The flowers don't come through for me.
-
I'm not big on florals. I can smell some rose, and what I think is lily. There's also something green here I can't put my finger on...
-
Very, very vanilla. And just a touch of honey. I'm not sure what I think of this, but I think it will layer nicely.
-
Very verbina and very astringent. Not for me! I like citrus, but this is too bitter.
-
Dark spicy myrrh! To me this is very light. No fruit here, but I'm really liking this one.
-
Patchouli and wood. My skin seems to amp wood - that's mostly all I can smell.
-
Butter rum life savers! Too sweet for me! I like foody, but this is like drowning in Buttershots.
-
I love white musk! And with it, we have orange and a hint of licorice. (I call them as I smell them. ) This may be a new favorite.
-
No amber on me! Just black musk which seems to communicate itself to my senses as "unwashed socks."
-
I love white musk. This is a Zephyr cousin. These's sage and something herbal here as well. A keeper.
-
My skin amps the heck out of rose. This is the first BPAL rose I've tried I actually could wear. Rose and powder. Also a nice grass note.
-
Wood and resins. Surprisingly light and refreshing. Maybe a bit of myrrh? Similar to Penitence, but lighter.
-
White and sweet. Plumaria and light florals I can't identify. I like this, although I don't usually do florals.
-
I'm getting lots of cypress. Green, with a sour medicinal note. Kind of like cleaning fluid. There's a peppery smell here too.
-
There's something about this that I can't put my finger on, but I don't like it. Musky with wood notes. There's a touch of civet too.
-
Spicy. I get the myrrh from Penitence with a more woody note Sort of the lovechild of Penitence and Cathedral. I don't get a dark feeling at all. Very church-like.
-
Others have said gentle. To me it's very faint. Almost no smell at all. A little rose, a little resin. My skin eats what's left.
-
I don't get rose out of this at all. Soap - hotel soap. Off to the swap pile with ye.
-
This is the closest I've smelt to a commercial "Rain" fragrence in BPAL. Ozone.

In the bottle: Lavender On me: Lavender with some citrus undertones. Fades a bit fast. I like this. I don't think it smells masculine per se. It's very relaxing for me.
-
I really should know better. Civet is not my friend. This smells...unclean to me. It's similar to Czernborg, but I like that one better.
-
DIII In the bottle: Fruit, spice, and an alcohol note. On me: Grape Koolaid - but more sophisticated. Plum? Huckleberry? It still has the background spicy note. DIV In the bottle: Cherry, cherry, cherry. Not cough drops - more like jam. On me: Marinated cherries - cherries with booze! I like this. I'm not sure where I'd wear it, but I like it.
-
DVI In the bottle: Milk chocolate and tobacco On me: Boy this is hard. This moves to a more nutty/fruity smell. The chocolate and tobacco are still there, but it's less straight forward. I know this makes it sound a Cadbury Fruit and Nut bar, but that's not it either. It doesn't smell "foodie," per se, if that makes any sense at all.
