A fresh aquatic - I would love for more lime, tea and verbena, but alas, it is not to be on my skin. A nice inoffensive blend, but not one that really sparkles with my chemistry.

Mmmm. Musky fruit, heavier on the musk than on the fruit. The fruit is a sort of melony light scent, not terribly sweet. I definitely get a sense of traveling to another world with this one, a rare and wonderful treat!

Spicy, chocolaty coconut cake. Nice, but not quite my cuppa.

I had very good luck with Genivire this past fall. Cobra Lily was another one I wore a lot, but Genivire was what I wore to the interviews for the job I eventually got.

Mmmmmm....dark, smokey aquatic scent. Did I just say yum, aquatic? Yeah, something like that. This is the Lab icy special on a dark road at night...not my fave of the Yultides, but definitely a chilling appropriate scent.
-
Mmmmmm...this is cakey, but with enough spicy, winey not-cake notes that it is totally wearable even for a developing cake-o-phobe like myself. I love this scent - it may be my fave of the whole Yule collection - which thus far is all love in my nose.

Oh but how I would love to love this. Oh but how the jasmine makes it impossible. SOB...

Swampy is really the only word I can use to describe this. I can see why it's appropriate, but it is really not me.

A dark, masculine aquatic - this doesn't quite work on me, but is gorgeous on my husband - the woody resins balance the water out perfect and the shot of tobacco is just lovely.
-
Wow, this is a beautiful blend - rich, full bodied, and tinged with just a hint of blood. Not sweet Dragon's Blood, but a real, dark iron rich blood scent, which blends perfectly with the musk and whatever else makes this so lovely.
-
Ummm, yum? I didn't really expect to love this one, as I think of myself as not inlove with food scented scents, but this is all soft vanilla and butter and is just the perfect light sugar cookie!

Pine. Pine with a hint of spice and maybe something bright or sweet - like a fresh pine wreath with berries or ringing a candle. This is a terrific wintery scent.
-
This is sharp and animalistic - there is a definite dark musk/vetiver in this, and a furry warm note that is similar, but not quite as...comforting as Coyote. I like this, and it has a lot more depth than I feared it might, but not enough to have hunted down a bottle.

Very rose, but a more complex rose than Rose Red, after a while this morphs into something that is more of a rose heavy general floral on me. It is nice, but a little too much for moi.

I don’t always have to be sinister, do I? Here’s to finally being able to hit the slopes again! Soft white powder snow with a touch of youthful girlie perfume. Piney with a sweet berry note. This was almost indistinguishable from mistletoe to my nose at first, but then got a little sweeter, and, well, girlier.

This is warm and rich and perfectly powerdy amber. I really like this. In a side by side test, I can discern almost no difference between the 2005 and 2006 versions, btw... They are both just gorgeous and golden and almost glistening...

The 2005 version of Midnight Mass was the scent that changed my entire view of incense blends - this is a sweet, soft comforting incense, the incense of hope and life. I really like this.

2005 Version - A sweet powdery musk with florals, but they are not overwhelming. This is definitely a party blend. Comparing this with 2006 - after aging a year, the alcohol comes out more in this - I think that new, these smell very similar, but there is more of an alcoholic haze in my year old decant than I get from the musky floral breathy smoke of the new bottle. I think that after slathering this on NYE, I shall cellar this for a few months, and see what time makes of Ms. Stardust...

Earthy, woody, with a slighty perfumy floral note which fades lieving a soft woodsy herbal scent - this is very nice and something I would definitely buy.
-
Green, soft, watery. I cannot pick out any notes, alas...

Whoo is this jasmine. Like it starts to burn my eyes jasmine to the point where I cannot do a proper review. If you like the jaz, tho - this could be a winner.
-
In three words: citrusy, creamy, yellow. And yummy! Please re-release the astros Beth!!!!

(Based on original forumlation) This is an herbal woody mint scent. My notes on this scent indicate that I'd intended to buy a bottle of this when it was rereleased. Wonder what I was thinking that day.

I have tried both the original formulation and the revisited version - eventually I swapped for the revisited, which I failed to order the first time around, because I'm a dope, but nevermind that, on to the goods: This is a bright, spicy floral blend - very fresh and evocative of bright yellow...sunshine.
