Oh! There are many! Even of the darker berry-scents. I want bewitched and the jersey devil, at least. Rosalind and glasgow as well. And Lampades! Persephone if I dare trying more flowery scents. If I dare... And the red queen! And Medea, if I dare the incense. Hm.. Oh. There are so many berries. Whii!

Eat, drink and be berry! ----------- At my last order I tried Bordello.. ..and now I want to bounce around like a true blackberry. Forever! Some other nice berry scents to pick, walking in the bpal-forest?

I was also looking for a strong vanilla note in my first order. Didn't quite find what I was looking for though. O, snake oil and the others are very spicy, as you may have noticed (which can be delicious, sometimes). Other than that Mouse's long and sad tale was perhaps the most vanilla-vanilla of those I tried (O, snake oil, lyonesse, Antique lace was the ones I tried). I also want more berry-scents! Perhaps it's because of my lovely, most loveliest bordello-imp. Tell me what you thought of the others.

Why’s it so.. sour on me? Like a very sour green-tea, with citrus. Gah. It’s just sour tea, that’s been in its cup too long. There’s some flower there, too, probably, that makes me not want to drink it. It’s very sad, because I’d really hoped to love this one. Bitter-citrus tea with some strange flower in. It makes my mouth pucker like if thinking of eating a lemon raw. Which is strange, because there shouldn’t be lemon in it.

*Purr, purr, purr* This scent makes me happy. And among my 15 vials, when smelling them as liquid from the imps, it was the one taking my breath away. Like a big, black, ripe plum dipped in liquor, coloring the world deeply purple. A sexy, purple scent, which I’ve fallen for. I want to dress myself in purple and black velvet and smile at every passerby. Chocolate-smooth (though without the actual scent of chocolate, more the Feel, which is good), very exquisite, rich and deep. Smells a little like the Ben and Jerry-ice cream bohemian raspberry, somehow. At some occasions I could, perhaps, find it a little too pungent. My favorite so far, though. Yum.

Floral Recs for those who usually don't like florals
Jennie replied to Neko's topic in Recommendations
Of those I've tried I'd absolutely say Titania. Found it very girly and cute, and I liked it really much, though I'm not usually into flower-fragrances (but so it was the first BPAL flower-fragrance I've tried). -
A pear-tarty freshness, wonderfully blended where you can’t really quickly smell the different notes, but it’s still lovely. A little perfumery when wet, perhaps that’s only because of all the flowers? It’s sweet, though. It’s very pretty, but I’m not really for flower-perfumes. I like the fruitiness that lingers there. Yum. Pretty. Smells wonderful as it dries. Oh! Pears, melons, pretty flowers.. ALMOST a little soapy, but not quite. May wear it when I feel like a flowery, girly kind of wench who don’t want to draw on much attention. I thought I hated flower-scents. But.. this is the first BPAL-flower scent I’ve tried and I don’t even dislike it a little bit. Actually.. I like it quite a bit, especially when it's dried. Have to try it a second time to know for sure.

Sweet. A cocacola-vanilla kind of sweet. It’s spicy, but not foody-spicy. It’s rather incense-like. It’s strong, and I applied all too much (a little less than 1,5 drops). I can sense something woodsy in the background, too. It’s not deep enough to be very sexy on me, and I can’t really relate to it, either, so it’s probably not for me. Smells a little like the cocacola-tobacco my friends have to their hookah pipes, but a little more vanilla-dusty and perfumery. Coca-cola hippie-tobacco. I think it gave me somewhat of a red rash, too, that hurt. Auch. As quick as anyone entered the room they asked “What’s that smell? Have you been burning something (by that meaning incense)?” So I left my room and went into my sister’s, and there someone entered again, “Have you been burning things in Here, as well?” Well, it wasn’t The scent to wear at home, so I tried to wash it off, but even then it’s still vaguely on me the day after. On the other hand, when you ask people what's their favourite smell, many answer with "Hookah pipes' cocacola-tobacco", which is (almost, on me) dead-on snake oil, so it's not entirely wrong.

First time I opened the imp I thought “Yikes! Patchouli!” and quickly closed the lid. Next time I opened it again (because I still had to try it) I cached a fruity smell like of melons and mangos, but with a medicine-like quirk. The patchouli was there, lingering in the background, still, like a sting in my nose. It wasn’t Horrible, with the “Iiiik! Wash it of me!”-thing. It was a powdered, dry mango. Perhaps I could think of having as a tea, dried mango-pieces mixing with green tea, just a little juicy when in the hot water; a little powdered. The patchouli quieted down, but it was still very make up-dusty. Liked the mango, the idea, and sometime I almost liked the smell…

Hmm… The smell is very hard to place, mellow while still rather sharp. Vanilla-y, but not entirely so. Oh! It deepens quickly. Something else comes forward, I’ve never smelled before. Almost towards the coffee beans-direction; musky? Why do I smell coffee beans? It’s sweet, but very softly so. There’s something in the background I can’t define. Some kind of flower/flowers? It just get better and better as it dries. I never would have thought it by just smelling the vial. It smells rather clean, too, like a made bad, after a while, while still being vanilla. In a vision: It’s a very white room, with a bureau next to the bed. The bed is freshly made with old, but still clean, linens. Something nice smells from the bureau, like if the old woman had kept her perfumes in there from days past, as well as her make-up, and something more, something secret, whose scent I can’t quite define. She has a pretty linen bag, too, with coffee beans in over the bureau, perhaps a precious gift from a friend. She has a cup of vanilla tea next to the bed on the floor.

It’s very freshly citrusy, but not like a lemon, rather like a grapefruit. It’s very fresh, and “splashy”, like I’ve been showering with juicy, crunchy grapefruits. I could really imagine some kind of body wash or similar with that kind of smell. It strongly reminds me of something, too, though I can’t really put my finger on what it is. A.. rubber I’ve had as a child? Or a body-washy cream? I know I’ve been smelling this scent before as I were younger. It’s something more than grapefruits, too, which almost mellows it out a bit (tea? florals?). I feel plastic-dolly. It’s not My scent, but I’m scented. It’s incredibly fun, though, and incredibly.. delicious, especially after having mellowed out a bit and becoming more naturally gentle. Bittersweetly cute doll, am I. Let’s head for the beach (..this winter)!

Verdandi - this is the fist BPAL I've ever tried and so the first one to review. It reminded me of something. I'll explain that instead because it's easier and more portraying. A while ago it was a harvest home, and we sat in a glasshouse on squared bundles of hay in the middle of the night, the stars gazing down at us. It was a very good season for apples, and they had thread apples on threads like garlands across the room. It was rather cold, as it is in autumns, but we got apple flambé and warm apple juice to warm ourselves with. They had also hollowed out apples that they had litted wax candles in, whose dancing lights were reflected in the glass walls. It was cold, so we warmed ourself at our paper cups with warm apple juice, still wearing our gloves. The warmth from the flambé, and the misty steam from the cups, came with the comforting smell of slightly spiced apples. It's something more than just apples and spice, it seems, giving a powdery feeling as of the sugar on the flambated apples. It can also be slightly waxy, or syrupy, like the candles in the hollowed-out apples. As I wandered around I got the wonderful whiff of apples now and then, reminding me of that time; feeling like actual warmth. When I sniffed it too close it smelled a little Yankee Candle-like, though, and almost too powdery. It started out reminding me more of christmas, too, for some reason, which it didn't do at the end of the day (when the smell was still lingering around me, but more like dried christmas/autumn-herbs than tarty apple.) (If you want, send me a message and tell me how good/badly I did my first review. Shorter? Longer?)

I'm in Sweden too, and all my packages from the lab have arrived eight days after the "shipped by" date in the CnS. That said, I've ordered from other US-based e-tailers where shipping was way slower, sometimes up to a month. So, basically, it varies, but expect a week at least. /Frida Alright. This is the eight day for me, then. What if I gets it tomorrow? I can't hope for too much, or I'll be disappointed when it doesn't arrive. I'm so very curious, and the mail doesn't arrive until 1:00 pm! I'll want to rush home and tear the mailbox wide open, as to perhaps find a precious gem in it.

I got a Click'n'Ship-notification about that my wares would be shipped at 10/28. When do you think they will arrive, then? I live in sweden/europe. Someone who has a clue? Someone else ordering from any of the nordic countries? Thanks!
