I love it...a sweet, white floral! That is a rare find. Usually white florals go the way of "floriental" which turns old ladyish on me. I think the sweetness is the pear coming through. I only smell the champagne at the very begginning and then the plumeria and pear as equals, but definately standing seperate. After about 30 minutes the pear and plumeria homogenize and it's a lovely, oozy sweet floral. Delish!

Ahem...I'm a little obsessed and today is my frist time wearing Dorian. Dorian is sweet and spicey and comforting and sexy. The juxtapositions are too much to take...I'm SMITTEN! It reminds me of White Rabbit and Kephra mixed together...

Oils with the strongest throw or sillage - the most noticeable scents

Eos and Fae seem to be ones that not only I smell, but those around me sniff me like crazy. -
Rose is helpful for me... I usually wear London.

Masculine scents usually turn really brutish on me and I smell like a grimey thug. However, this one is different. This seems to me like it would be a great unisex fragrance. In the bottle I cannot smell the leather at all; on my skin, it jumps right out. But it smells like there are currants being squashed by the leather...yummy and a little kinky, no? This crazy scene seems to be taking place in teh middle of the forrest and it is beggining to drizzle. Yup, that is what The Black Tower smells like to me...

Oooh, I wanted this little doll so bad and now she's mine! Thank you, Abejita! In the bottle: Dry white wine, lily, and spices. Very intriguing...definately not something I remember smelling before...it already has life to it befor it touches my skin. Wet on skin: Plum, plum, plum, and...musk? "Gleaming" is definately the right word for this scent. Lilies still prevalent. Dry-down: All of the smells mentioned above have been softened and accompanied by the nicest, least obtrusive amber ever! Where is that honey, though? Oh, this is intoxicating! After a few hours: This is not a blend that warms up on your skin. It remains cool and clear, yet very sexy and very rich. It is a complicated scent an one that clings to things. My purse and sleeves smell absolutely divine long after I take them off. I could just buy bottles and bottles of this.

Whoah! I received Blood Pearl as a frimp in a swap and I never thought it would be for me. I'm just not a summery scent kind of person and with coconut in the description I steered clear. However, this is not summery to me...it smells like what a Lush store smells like from the outside...you know as you're walking past and it just wafts at you and you really just want to buy every single product at once so you can duplicate the smell at home? Yeah...that smell. It goes all floral with red musk. Dang this is nice! The sweetness wears off and it is pleasingly sexy, clean, and sophisticated. Who would have thought coconut could be worn to the operal...oh, this is a chamelian of a scent!

I received this as a frimp and I have to say that by the description I never would have ordered it of my own accord so I have to say thanks to Beth for sending it my way. In the bottle - Clove and cleaning fluid. Wet on skin - Slippery cloves and cinnamon. No more cleaning fluid. Dry down - oh this is just lovely! Like bark and spices all mixed up with a hint of autumnal floral. I am in love. This lasts a good 3 hours before settling down to the point of reapplication. I think I will order a 5ml of this. :D ETA: This smells like Lush's Potion. Ahhh, memories...

In the bottle: Boozy musk, tempered by sugar. Wet on skin: I have never smelled anything with this much of a genuine smokiness. It reminds me a lot of what my dad smelled like to me when I was a kid, but oddly enough there is a kitcheny smell as well. Dry-down: This one is throwing me off. There is a little too much smoke on my skin to feel like this is a good female fragrance. It seems better suited to a man. I wish I could get my guy to wear scents...I would douse him in this. I like this, but I may be swapping it.

WOW! Completely different than what I expected to smell. I guess I had this preconceived notion of how an apple fragrance should smell and this one is unlike anything I've ever feasted my nose upon. The apple in Punkie Night is not drizzled with sugar or caramel, it is crisp and full bodied. When I sniff my wrists I get a tactile association of peeling the skin off an apple. It is at first a cold and crisp scent, later warmed by the cider spices and made complete with a sprinkling of cranberries. I love this. It seems very unique and versatile.

In the bottle: Wet flowers Wet on skin: Still wet flowers. It really does smell like a spring morning at a fairy ring. Dry-down: Sweet pea, but warmed up and refined. Probably not going to buy a 5ml of this, but I will definately use up my imp.
-
In the bottle: Berries! Wet: Berries and something really clean smelling. Dry-down: Yay, it's warming up! The berries are starting to smell a little more peppery - I can start to smell the wine, but it's still very sweet. After an hour: Subtle, sweet, musky wine. This is definately worthy of a 5ml.

I had heard so many wonderful things about this scent, but absolutely nothing prepared me for what this scent did when it touched my skin... in the bottle: ginger - crisp yet warm and slightly cinnamony From the second this touched my skin to the last fading moments of glory it smelled like Lush's Floating Island on me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Since I have taken a Floating Island bath once a week every week for about 4 years now I really wish I would have tried this scenter earlier. 10ml here I come!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I smell pretty, oh so pretty... My skin loves tuberose so I knew this would work on me, but OH HOW! I am obsessed with myself now...must smell self...constantly. Sniff: The pear and plumeria are dominant. It seems cooler than I expected. Wet: There's that tuberose! Still pear and plumeria, but the tuberose jumps out. Dry-down: Tuberose and magnolia...I am magnificent! *takes an enormous wrist sniff* Well, I have only ever bought 5ml bottles before but I can tell I am going to slather this one on so I'm going to need a 10ml.

When you need something comforting or cheering

Ditto. I reapply 3x a day, but whenever I'm feeling like I need to find my happy place I put that on. -
In the bottle: Jasmine!!! Wet: Jasmine and...I think that's orris. This smells southern and formal to me. Dry-down: Now I smell that citrus others have mentioned. It's citrusy jasmine with a warm note...amber? After 2 hours: Feminine floral, warm but not overpowering. It's so gorgeous I may need a bottle of this. One more wear to determine that...

This was way to amber smelling when I first got it, but after about a month of sitting around it finally smells how I hoped it would. This is a scent I'll have to age to make it how I prefer it. In bottle: Iris and spices!!! Wet: Iris dripping with spices and oh, I smell the berries! Dry-down: The amber warms up the floral note and the berries mix the strong floral with my skin. I tend to work well with berry based fragrances. It reminds me slightly of black dahlia, but less like I should be wearing a black velvet cloak and more like laying on satin sheets in the nude. After two hours: Sadly this does not last very long on me and I only smell faintly of iris and berries. Must reapply...and you know what that means...I need to order a bottle.

In the bottle: Clinical and slightly floral. Wet: Still clinical, but warm. I associate clinical smells with cold so it's strange. Dry-down: This smells a little bit like strong Skin So Soft by Avon to me, which while being a fond memory of a scent, is not something I'd like to smell like in the winter time or without bugs around and no Skin So Soft in sight. My grandma wore SSS all the time so I keep thinking I'm at her house in North Carolina getting dressed into my shorts and t-shirt, ready to walk down to the Highway to buy some shrimp for her to make for dinner. After two hours: SSS all the way. I may as well be wearing that. I won't be buying another imp or bottle, but I may by some SSS for this summer.

A warm, soft, sexual blend. Sweet and alluring. Used to entice new lovers and add an aura of temptation and carnal sin to your environment. Ahh, French Love! ...but French people stink, isn't that the word on the street? In the vial: Oh so red and sweet. My boyfriend really liked the smel of it, in fact he preferred it to all the others in my order of imps and frimps. I was iffy. Wet: Whoah!!! Thus with a kiss I die. This is soooooo strong on me. Totally sour and sweet and floral and spicey...whoah! Dry-down: More spicey and floral, but with that sweet and sourness in the background. Still too thick and strong. After 3 hours: Boyfriend says it's sexy...I'm a bit annoyed by it. The sweetness became more lickable, and less striking which was a good thing. In all I will use up ther imp but not buy a bottle. I usually wear scents very heavy as I looovvvve smells, but this was just too overpowering for me. Shucks!

Okay this one is a strange one on me. My skin usually HATES Sandalwood and Patchouli, but for some reason it LOVES Rakshasa. I smell like a pampered baby with this one. In the bottle: Rose and citrus with a hint of woodiness. Wet on skin: Same but stronger. Dry-down: perfumed baby's bottom. After 2 hours: I lurve this! It is so original and clean smelling. On the way to work I kept wondering what on earth I was smelling that smelled so powdery and clean. I kept thinking there was a royal toddler in the car with me somewhere hiding. I smell like a 2 year old countess before getting into the cheerios and play-dough.

IN BOTTLE: Just as the descriptions says. Lovely and clean. WET: Ferns. I feel Victorian...like a parlor. DRY DOWN: Ferns and lemonade. AFTER 3 HOURS: The berries came out, but I still have a particularly fern smell overall. BOYFRIEND SAYS: "Potporri gone wrong."
-
IN THE BOTTLE: Saccharine coconut. I am hesitant. WET: Coconut and I swear I smell coffee...maybe I'm just in need of a java fix. DRY DOWN: Smooth and beachy with a dash of fig. AFTER 3 HOURS: I need to make this into a hair/body fragrance spray for the summertime. It turns to exotic beaches for me. I feel like a mermaid! Hey, they don't have belly buttons and neither did Eve.
-
IN THE BOTTLE: I'm in LOVE! I want at least a 5ml of this!!! Sweetness and almonds and something else I can't quite put my finger on... WET ON SKIN: Exactly the same, heavenly, but oh...what is that...? DRY DOWN: ...it's gettin SOO SPICY! The scent is becoming full and heady. The almond is still there, as is the sweetness of candy, but now I smell like a home, not a human. AFTER 3 HOURS: I feel invigorated, like I should be cleaning and getting things done. This would be a great room or car fragrance but it seems like when it's on my skin the proximity is suffocating. I love the scent, but not as a personal perfume. I will have to think of something else to do with the rest of this imp. Maybe I will burn it at home.

I should have known this wouldn't work on me because of the amber, but I decided to order an imp of it anyway. *IN THE BOTTLE: Sharp and sweet. I am interested to see if this works. Vanilla and sour cherry. *WET ON SKIN: Still cherry and vanilla, but very sour and...OH NO!...turning spicey in a middle eastern way. *DRY DOWN: I smell like a Middle Eastern kitchen and sour cherry candy. I am disgusted by myself. My boyfriend seems to think it smells like cotton candy, but more pungeant. *AFTER 3 HOURS: subtle, sweet and spicy. Very nice actually. If it smelled like this on me from the get-go I would adore it, but I don't like Middle Eastern spices on my skin so unfortunately this is a no-go for me.

Oooh yummy! In the bottle: just sweetness. Wet: I am covered in a non-cloverish honey and baking! Dry: I am a brioche-like thingie and my boyfriend likes it! This bebe reminds me of Snowcake. It is also the perfect scent for layering with my Clean perfume. My boyfriend kept telling me I smelled "sooooo goood." Heehee
