LOVE IT! I'm a huge fan of apples and this is a nice green apple. It has a bit of fizzy to it, I think that's the musk. I wore this on my pulse points and Poisoned Apple on my neck. It was an amazing apple combo. Sadly, RiB faded away after an hour on my skin and left poor PA wondering where her new friend went. I'll probably pick up another decant of this and use them just for my scent locket. Hopefully it'll last longer that way. I really, really wanted a bottle of this.

Sadly, no matter how long I let this rest, it starts and ends on my skin as pancake syrup. No florals at all, just cloying syrup and for the final twist, it amps like crazy and overwhelmed my nose to a point where I was congested.

After being divorced for a year and living on my own, I've really drifted far from the things that brought me joy if only due to a severe financial change in my life. I must whole heartedly apologize to everyone who has attempted to message me. I've been neglectful and I'm very sorry about that. I have no excuse. I'm trying to pull my life together and get back to where I was socially. This also means I'm going to be cleaning out my collection if only because I've really become super picky on what fragrances I buy now. So stuff I've been keeping out of pure collecting will be hopefully going to homes that will use and love them. It won't happen right away, I need to stock up on shipping supplies first but in the next day or so I'll be posting a blog of all the things that will be available for sale. I would ask that no one message me with offers to buy just yet because even stuff like bubble mailers are a pinch on my wallet and I need to pull some extra funds together first. If there's something you're interested in, by all means feel free to tell me what you like. I'll treat it as first come first served (as always). And should you find it from someone else, no worries, I won't be upset or offended. Again, I'm very sorry my loves.

A tribute to the opium den cum bawdyhouses of Shanghai in the 1930’s. Golden amber, blonde tobacco, Sudanese black coconut, rich caramel, black currant, white opium and delphinium laced with a sensual blend of Asian spice. 2011 version: Oh man. This started out a beautiful exotic spicy caramel that's light and dreamy. On the drydown, it became dry coconut and dusty caramel. I'm so sad! I don't know if it's the coconut or maybe the tobacco. I've never had much luck with tobacco no matter what it's blended into.

The coconut oil completely overwhelmed everything else in my bottle. I wish I had known coconut oil was used in the base, I never would have bought it. For those who amp coconut, you might want to get a sample first before buying a full bottle. Otherwise, it left my skin very soft and silky. My bathtub and I smell like suntan lotion.

Spicy chocolate! This, my friends, is what Russian chocolate smells like!!! This isn't milk chocolate and it's not tooth aching sweet either, however nor is it a dry dark chocolate but something in between. Sadly, no gourds but I'm quite happy anyway.

Rez'd version: OMG. This is spicy, creamy wonderfulness! I feel very strongly this would be a good companion to Shub. This is my first carnation and I love it. It's not overpowering floral and first hits like a strong gingerbread (i.e. the spice) and then mellows a bit into something deliciously creamy and sexy. Of course, I'll have to try this again after the oil settles, but I was too impatient to wait after it just arrived today.

Immediately wet on the skin, I get the vanilla bourbon and then it dies almost as fast to the tea rose. Jasmine comes up quickly to wrestle for top note, but it's more like a tie. In the end, it's a powdery jasmine-rose.

I get orange, anise and clove. Something baked too. Raisins? This is my favorite so far.
-
I get the pine, then something sweet and something spicy. Now I get something smoky.

Ditto on the baby wipes. I use a bit of elbow grease when rubbing with the baby wipes just in case the offending oil sinks deep into my pores.

Hrn. I'm so jealous of everyone else. All I get is coconut (teetering close to sun tan lotion) and eventually very faded incense just before it totally vanishes after an hour. But I'm not giving up on it. It'll sit in a dark place for a while and I'll revisit it after a few months.

Smells like a sucked on Hall's cough drop dipped in the ink of your ballpoint pen that just bled all over your fingers. SERIOUS THROW

This was a disappointment for me. No pumpkin in the bottle and no pumpkin on the skin. It was cinnamon from start to finish. No morphing, just straight cinnamon. Not abrasive or in your face cinnamon, but not what I was hoping for.

Hey L'Autunno! How ya doin'? Wait, you're not L'Autunno... you're far more black tea and smoother.

Not what I was expecting at all! I was anticipating honey note of doom and baby powder. Instead, I got something that smells very similar to the bath oil, Castitas and I luuurve Castitas. I'll have to do a side by side comparison.

Psychological Horror is strange. on me, it's like something syrupy sweet in baby powder form.

... yeah. well. it's what BBQ would be if it was a perfume. it's a smoked pulled pork sandwich. I gagged the whole time while it was wet (could be my food intolerance to pork) and now that it's fully dried, it's smoke and vetiver to my nose.

Swirls of red jelly and sugary white ooze. In the imp, I thought I was getting Floating Brain, but on my skin it's been nothing but lovely red (strawberry?) jelly. It's taking a bit of a sharp tone as it dries, so I'll need to come back and update when it finally dries. Okay. now that it's dry, it stayed that fun red jelly but reminds me so strongly of Floating Brain that I don't think I'll want a full bottle of it. I'll be looking around for an empty or nearly empty bottle at the very least.

Alien Invasion is a white floral citrus. as it dries, the floral calms down the citrus a bit. It starts out CITRUSSSSSS and calms down to something I'd wear to feel fresh and clean when it's hot out.

In the imp: Sharp, smoky and incensy Wet: Musk and sage. Dry: Huh. No currants at all. Just incense & sage.
-
In the imp: Berries and myrrh Wet: WOW. Floral? It's earthy and beautiful. Dry: No morph at all. I wasn't expecting this one to be nice at all. Currants and I do NOT get along at all. This is beautiful.

In the imp: Green, woodsy pear Wet: Pear and wood. It's rather nice. Actual, crisp, juicy pear with the oakmoss to keep it from being too fruity sweet. Dry: Why am I getting rose? By itself, nice. I can't wait to see what it's like with the other two.
-
In the imp: Strawberry candies! Wet: Oh lordie... it's Floating Brain!!!! The only thing it's missing is cake! Dry: Yup. Floating Brain without the cake. If you missed Floating Brain, here's your chance at something very similar.

In the imp: vetiver vetiver vetiver Wet: Gods. The smokey power of vetiver is absolutely overpowering. Dry: Teak and vetiver. Oh, wait, I think there's a bit of tangerine... nope. Sorry. Vetiver says NO. lawdie have mercy
