Chimera is the closest to Big Red out of all the cinnamon scents I've tried so far. Love Me is second, with a cinnamon/clean/soapy fragrance that got sweeter as it dried. Sin was kind of like Satan's cinnamon, it was much more spicy and much less sweet.

Heavy incense notes waft lazily through a mix of carnation, jasmine, bergamot, and neroli over a lush bed of dark mosses, iris blossom, deep patchouli and indolent vetiver. In the imp: This smells complex and interesting. There's incense and smoke and a dark green smell and a himt of floral. Wet: Gah! Is that patchouli??? Drydown: Ick! My body chemistry is killing everything but incense and patchouli smells. My wrist smells like a cheesy new age store. The smokiness is fading. After a couple of hours: I smell like strong soap. It's excellent quality soap, but still disappointing. Conclusion: Catterpillar doesn't like my skin at all. I think I may give this one to my sister. The scent has so much promise for the right person.

In the imp: I can smell the lilies and I happen to LOVE lilies. Wet: If there is such a thing as golden lilies, this fragrance is it. Drydown: I smell a gorgeous blend of warm lilies. I can't really distinguish notes. After a couple of hours: The scent fades. but it doesn't turn powdery nor does it lose its warmth. Conclusion: A strong contender for an eventual bottle. I'm going to get plenty of wear from the imp and then I'll decide whether I can't live without this perfume. I'm not sure that there's enough individuality to the scent, but maybe it's just my uneducated nose.

In the imp: This smells like that cheap rose perfume that I used to buy at the drugstore when I was a teenager. Wet on my wrist: A sweet rose. Very sweet. I don't smell anything green at all. Drydown: My mother thought I smelled great. She loved the rose fragrance. After an hour or two: I'm smelling something powdery in the roses. Please, let this not be turning powdery on me. Conclusion: I'm keeping the imp and I'll try out the scent again. It's a lovely feminine rose, and obviously appeals to other people, but I'm still not sure if it suits me.

In the imp: Augh! An overpowering reek of cherry cough syrup. It seemed to overpower every other fragrance in my imp pack. My mother recoiled when I held the Queen of Hearts imp to her nose. Wet: A sharp whiff of cherry that dissipated within seconds, revealing a floral undertone Drydown: A gorgeous floral mixed with cherry. It is feminine but also wily and unique. After an hour or two: The scent faded into a lovely floral with the barest hint of cherry. Conclusion: This is quickly becoming a favorite scent. I've already re-applied it once and I'm still in love. I think I'll be ordering a bottle.

I loved this scent in the bottle. I can smell the fresh mint, as well as lemon and something herbal. Alas, my skin turned it into all mint. I swear all the other notes disappeared until there was nothing left of the amazing scent in the bottle. Stupid body chemistry. My sister has dibs on the imp, but I might order another and try it as a room fragrance. It really is a gorgeous, crisp scent.

Curiouser and curiouser. Milk and honey with rose, carnation and bergamot. In the Imp: Mostly honey. Not much of the rose and carnation at all. A hint of milk. Not a scent that I expected to like. I'm wondering why this scent is so popular. On my wrist: Yeah, that's honey alright, with some rose underneath. Too sweet. Not really me. I'm not expecting this to be a keeper. Drydown: Oh my God, this is incredible!! The rose comes out, along with a spiciness from the carnation. It's gone from girlish to sophisticated with an understated sexiness. This is a strong contender for a 5ml bottle.
