The rest of the graveyard book blends kickin' labels
-
Those are all I have for now! I should get more on monday. Can't wait to get them. These 3 are great

a couple of bottles from the Graveyard Book series

Where is my order? What is Click N Ship? How long does this take?

I just got my CnS for a 10/14 order on Friday so I would worry just yet. -
Yeah, it seems to be conceptual. I have multiples of a number of the bottles and it isn't like there is one black label and one white label for everything. As far as I can tell about half the yules have a white background and half dark.
-
here are the black label Yules. The pic is kinda blurry - sorry!
-
wind in the willows labels (am out of gallery space - sorry!) And the "white" labels
-
Tried to upload this to the gallery but I have used up all my space - oops.

SO GOOD! This smells all warm and sweet just like the perfume version. My house smells delish right now and I just wonder how fast I will go though this it is that yummy. Am so glad to have Sugar Skull as a room spray. Mucho thanks to Beth and Ted for releasing this!

This smells 100% different on than in the bottle. In the bottle it is very sugary, much closer to pancake breakfast actually, but on the grass of the playing field really comes out. I still get a hint of sweetness but not much coffee to speak of. It was all a sort of sweet warm hay/grass scent. Very nice!

This totally smells like a stack of fresh cooked pancakes. First on it is all syurpy sweetnes - no fruit at all. And then it starts to warm up and the yeasty pancake smell really comes out. Full on fluffy pancakes. Crazy! The syrup hangs around but I really don't get any berries on my skin.

... This is the scent of pure graveyard dust, spattered with grave loam and dusted lightly with tombstone moss. Just got the new 2008 Graveyard dirt and dang - Get the shovels and flashlights cuz this smells just like sneaking through a cemetary at midnight. Cool damp wet earth, freshly turned, very loomy. A "light" dirt scent. crazy how spot on this is.

Beautiful. If Dark Maiden is the incarnation of the waning cresent moon, Maiden is the embodiment of the waxing cresent - a time of rebirth and possibilities. There is a girlish brighness to this blend - it is a sweet and happy scent. It smells to me of Lemons and Honey. I would say it was a kissing cousin to Milk and Honey. Like all the TAL's the layers to this scent are amazing. I am just blown away by the artistry of them. Not a lot of throw - it is staying close to my skin.

I complained to paypal as well and this was my reply: I'm pretty sure that translates to - we will keep it just how it is, now fuck off and have a nice day.

I have lost my ability to give insightful reviews full of multi layered notes delivered in a charming and witty manner. Not that I love any less the oils I have been testing lately. Just my brain apparenly has gone on haitus this summer. That said, the L'Estate room spray smells entirely like Orange licorice. Tis lovely
-
Thought I would add a mini review in case it helps those trying to decide on ordering. L'Estate goes on all golden amber with a tinge of musk. The amber quickly warms up on the skin and then it is all LILIES! At least on my lily amping skin. I can almost taste them that is how lily it goes on me. Musky lilies. After about half an hour the lilies start to tone down but this is definately a floral blend.

hastur and ligur share a label (they are both on it) And I don't have the others alone but here they are as part of a group shot
-
Faeu Boulanger is a perfect summer blend. It is a juicy, sweet wet green plup mashed together with mint. Totally refreshing and gorgeous. Quite simply it is my favorite new BPAL blend
-
Inez is a rich, musky amber that is has just a hint of spicyness at the end. A really gorgeous blend that stays all sexy close to your skin rather than shout out "Smell me bitches!" it makes you want to snuggle closer for a better wiff.

If I'm not mistaken, those are some of BlackRayne's personal bottles she had on LJ (Marketplace) awhile back. She had about 4-5 of theses 30ml bottles listed and Dragon's Milk, Dana O'Shee and Dorian were a few that I remember sold first (so maybe wikkidraven purchased these 2), there were pictures on her entry and these look just like them. The 'give-away' for me is the fact they don't have handwriting on the label's as Beth and the Lab's 30ml bottles DO have personal hand written names on the labels as I purchased one of the Lab's on Ebay when they were cleaning house. The bottles that they lab had for sale with the hand written labels were 4oz bottles (or 125ml) - not 30ml bottles

I don't have a pic of Wensleydale alone but here he is with some of the other new releases

well my gallery space is full again (oops!) so I will post the pics of stromhold and the east here -

I'm sitting here sniffing my wrist wondering if I have had some sort of stroke that has left me with an olfactory blind spot. I have on nanny. it is a very light scent that stays close to your skin. I also can't smell anything beyond leather (a very light leather) and wood (again, a very light wood) Where is my honey? My berries? My Amber and flowers? *flails about on the floor in a snit* Ok, snit over. This really is a lovely light cologne, but more masculine than I was anticipating. I was hoping for nerdy dominatrix but this is more like the nerdy dominatrixes accountant date.

I had no expectations for The East, but it is made of win. It is a sweet floral with a distinct red berry note and a hint of something minty as well. Very yummy. The floral is sweet without being cloying, the red berry adds a touch of tartness and the mint is just plain refreshing.

I think there are only one label of each? I haven't seen a different version posted at any rate. My Tiki Queen looks just like one other I saw posted as far as I know
