Posted pic in the community gallery of all the scents from the last update Worm Moon, April Fool, Hex, and Beltane Tiki King and Queen Atomic Luau Lounge

The first thing that leaps out is the juicy, pulpy bamboo. That watery green smell like in Holiday moon. There is something almost citrusy in the background but it isn't citrus at the same time. A hint of floral sort of wafts around in the background but becomes more pronounced the longer I have it on.

This is a quick morpher on me. It starts out as figs and honey and sweet syrupy peaches with a hint of floral innocence. Then it goes through a rather sharp herbal phase that is quickly over before mellowing out to a warm sandalwood with just the barest touch of sweetness

Cleopatra Testing Poisons on Those Condemned to Death
Tramp replied to shelldoo's topic in The Salon
Very nice. Very vaguely evil. A honey/almond base piled high with spices and impending death. I think the saffron in this really comes through and the honey is thick without being cloying. -
And Hanami! I'd like to see all the new ones. If anyone is desperate to see Sugar Moon, someone's got a bottle on eBay. (Not me! I just noticed the cool label. ) I uploaded a pic of Sugar Moon, Hanami and Mort de Cesar to the community gallery http://www.bpal.org/index.php?autocom=gall...si&img=1950

And for the sake of the set I posted group shots of the Love Poems and the Revisted blends as well. I'm still hoping to see the other 2 Smut 08 labels. I have 2 but apparently there are 4.

Where is my order? What is Click N Ship? How long does this take?
Tramp replied to Snow White's topic in BPAL FAQs
I don't know that the lab will combine orders. It isn't that common anyway. They volume of orders they get makes it extreamly difficult to do and slows up the process for everyone. Have you got a Click and Ship? If you have then you can track your package and see if it has been delivered or not. -
well today the community gallery space seems to like me! I uploaded 2 new label images of Smut 2008. I'm not sure how many images there are for these this year but if your Smut labels are different please post a pic! eta: link - http://www.bpal.org/index.php?autocom=gall...si&img=1907

Since my community gallery storage space is full (oops!) here are Pisces and Moon of Ice

this is the scent I always wanted Skadi to be. Old moon is slushy snow, deep forest evergreens, and juicy red berries. Like sitting in the middled of an Alberta forest crushing fistfulls of berries. Am so glad I was able to get this, I would have been so sad to have missed out.

in the bottle and on wet - plumtastic. The plumiest of wine. Plumtasmagoria. On drydow - *shudder* Burnt, grape plastic cool-ade. The kind Satan likes to drink. Thankfully it faded super quick so I wasn't forced to gnaw off my arm in order to save myself from the stench.

here are some links - I think they too big to post as an intext image Fairy Wine Lady Una Good Omens

I just posted one in the gallery

This a an absolutely beautiful blend. Sweet sandalwood and incense. A warm and smooth blend. So yummy. The teak is just a gentle layer that adds just the right dry wood note. Dark without being masculine. Stays close to the skin.

Sugar Skull label - just to round out the rest of the Halloweenies

Just remember that not everyone that gets a CnS posts in that thread! Another good one to watch is the "I got my order" thread - people often list order dates in that as well. ETA: also for what it is worth - the lab homepage currently lists the turn around time - Please note that all orders, including domestic orders, are currently taking an excess of 14 - 21 business days to process, pack and ship

Oh man! I totally want a bottle now just for the label! I love it. And the kitty is so cute.

Background: Dating from the late 1880's, Golden Dawn is an order dedicated to the study and advancement of spiritual knowledge and magical power. Golden Dawn draws on, and includes the study of, Christian mysticism, Kabbalah, Hermeticism, Egyptian deities, Theurgy, Alchemy, Enochian Magic, and medieval grimoires. In the bottle: Glorious and warm. Herbal florals. On: Very strong. Is that sandalwood and jasmine? I'm not sure about the jasmine but is my best guess (I'm in disbelief because all BPAL jasmine hates me - but this is beautiful) Ritual: Excellent aide to study and concentration. Centering and calming.

Well if it did get stopped by customs the crypts have moss in them that they might take out. Some Canadians got their orders with no problems but it is always the (bad)luck of the draw with customs

ohhhh! It should be a hologram or something so that the cat is both there, and not there, at the same time

Lemony incense and warm herbals. Wet the lemon is more prominent but it almost disappears on the drydown. Powdery herbals - nothing too distinctive to my sniffer, maybe some tobacco leaf? The incense is a sweet touch of spices. I really like this. Why do I like things that are so hard to get!!!! I'm really glad I have an imp of this
