Mmmm, coconut! A little bit of a buttery scent and then coconutty, pure yum! Seems to last for a decent amount of time too, been almost five hours and I still get little whiffs of it every now and then.

First putting this on it was....MUSK!!!!!!!!!!!! But after about 5 minutes it dried down to a nice vanilla-ish spice, very nice! It's not all that strong after the first few minutes of musk happiness, but it is a nice close skin scent, which is good 'cause I wouldn't want to share this with many people, hehehe.

Lightly floral dragon's blood, mmmmmmm

Tried quite a few recommendations, thanks and my winner (so far!) is Szepasszony! Which I'm not sure was even recommended, but every time I get a whiff of it, I it's perfect!

I really wanted ashes, smoke, charcoal, something! But, alas, what do I get....vetiver. In the imp, vetiver. On skin, vetiver. Doesn't last that long on me, about 2 hours and at the very end, just before it vanishes, I get a last whiff of lemon (???) and then it's completely gone! Will have to try it in a week or so to see if this is just my imagination.

In imp: rather odd, very faint, can't really describe it. Wet on skin: whee, strawberry! and real, peak of ripeness strawberry, none of that plastic stuff here! Mmmmm. Dry: wow, so far, my favorite! Sweet strawberry and a very light covering of chocolate, everyone at work kept coming by and smelling me, don't wear this unless you want some serious attention .

In the imp: oooh, I want to drink this, it smells soooo good! Chocolate, marshmallow and coconut all being smelled. Wet on skin: helloooo coconut! wow, yes, definitely coconut in here. Dry down: aaah, yep, there's the chocolate, coconut just barely under that and the marshmallow adding a bit of a sugary powdery-ness, if that makes sense. Another yummy one from the chocolate box!

In the imp: buttercream frosting, definitely...not really getting the chocolate at all. On, wet: OH! now, there's that chocolate, wow! Completely takes over the buttercream and is rich milk chocolate all the way. Dry: calms down, nicely chocolate and some creamy frosting undertones, very yummy.

Another yummy scent! Rather strong when first applied, very vanilla and a bit of musk. On dry down, the vanilla backs off a bit, the tea shows up and the musk settles to a grounding note. Lasts quite a while, it's been almost 5 hours and still going strong! Definitely a bottle of this in my future

First on - LEMONLEMONLEMON yikes After drying down - mmm, anise with a hint of lemon and mint, nice! Just have to get past the first minute or two and it's gooood! Lasts a nice long while, though after about 5 hours I have to put my nose really close to smell it. Definitely a keeper .

Reviving this thread to see if there are any coffee and smoke scents, like drinking coffee by a campfire type. Unfortunately, Miskatonic University smells mostly like popcorn, rich sweet popcorn, no coffee any suggestions?

these are all great! *scribbles more to the list*

Thanks for the recommendations! Finding happy scents is my new goal, something has got to work, and haven't found a scent I didn't like yet so anything's helpful right now.

Campfires, bonfires, fireplaces, burning wood and leaves...

Oooh, campfirey burny smells! So nommy! Bonfire night's my favorite right now, will have to try out some of these other ones, mmmm, addiction is good. -
Maybe coffee grounds...if you don't mind smelling like coffee, and can get some at work. Bleach will work but it's not that good for your skin and then, well, you'll smell like bleach Good luck!

In the imp - can't pick out scents individually, but smells good.On skin - wheee, LEATHER! and lots of it! almost overwhelming, but quickly calms down. After about 10-15 minutes, turns into slightly sweet and smokey leather. Can't pick out anything else really, but that's OK, cause this smells goooood! :wub2:In the imp - can't pick out scents individually, but smells good.On skin - wheee, LEATHER! and lots of it! almost overwhelming, but quickly calms down. In the bottle - orange and something floral or incensy. First on - orange creamsicle! Yum! Dry down - still orange, slightly creamy but now with a stronger incense background. Much later - incense has taken over, but there's still a hint of orange lurking in the background. I love it! I keep putting it on and going mmmmmm, creamsicle.

First review! Whee! Couldn't really tell what it smells like, haven't got the nose yet I guess, because all I get is spicy goodness, warm and happy like walking by a bakery that's making cinnamon rolls, love it!
