Bliss= Beautiful smooth chocolate. Wet this is more like milk chocolate but when it dries it becomes expensive, dry cocoa powder. Like Gelt without the yucky wet dog amber note. It fades fairly fast even when slathering (my skin has good taste ) but it's totally worth reapplying. I could bathe in this- literally! The layering possibilites are nearly endless too. Hmmm green tree viper and bliss- mint chocolate chip!!! Going on my bottle list!

Hi! I'll be going to my first (East Coast) WC February 9th (yea! ). The update email said that there will be some trading post items there but someone else in the East will call thread said they didn't ever see lockets there. Does anyone know if its possible to order a locket and pick it up there??? Sorry if I'm annoying with my newbyness...

I was SO sure that I was going to hate this because of the patchouli. In fact, a few months ago when it was fresh, I DID hate it. But when I tried it on today...I could smell a thick, almost honeyed fruit and vanilla! It's still a little patchouly heavy for me but it's *Alot* smoother than it was before and even has a clean scent mixing with the 'dirty' patchouly. Still a little sharp but I will see how it is in another few months. It's nice but doesn't take the place of snake Charmer and Boomslang for my sexy, night-time scent -
Hmm. I'm kind of undecided about ol' saw scaled. I adopted him a itty bitty decant and placed a single drop on my hand when it then laughed in my face and burst into cinnamin flames right there and tried to burn me alive (not talking about allergic reaction just the strength of the scent). It's VERY strong and to me smells simply like big red gum. Sweet and spicy. It's OK but cinammin just isn't my favorite and I wish some other notes would show up. I might give him another chance before I toss him back in the dessert but so far I might decide to swap.

In the vial: Ohhhhhh yesssss. Deep, creamy and smooth honey caramel with a hint of apple. Wet on skin: The caramel plays nice for a few seconds then runs away when the apple blossom chases it with a baseball bat. Dry: The apple blossom gets somewhat soapy and clean smelling and the honey and amber turn powdery. Conclusion: I loved this in the decant beyond comprehension- it was perfect dessert and deliciousness. On my skin it's a bit light and powdery apple but in a good way. I found that adding some to my hair balances it out to where I can smell each note individually instead of it all turning into powder (amber?). It's really quite beautiful on the skin too if you like light clean scents.

The most beautiful mint ever!!! In the bottle this smelled very...green for some reason and I was ready for disappointment. But after being on my skin for a few minutes, the mint burst forth and cooled everything down. It dries down to an airy, slightly floral mint which is very nice and refreshing evocative. It seems to stay well enough in my hair. I really, really like this. It's very different from green tree viper which was sweeter and somehow flatter. I love getting whiffs of this all day

*Sigh* I was hoping NOT to love this as much as I do but alas I've fallen under the spell of the wickedly beautiful snake charmer. After all the comparisons to snake oil and Madame M, I was worried it would be too spicy or overpowering but needlessly so. When I first applied to test, it was a soft, sweet coconut with hints of sharp, musky resin. Then it began growing smoother and sweeter. While cooking dinner I forgot about it for awhile until I began getting whiffs of vanilla and wondering where it was coming from. It was ME!!! This is DELICIOUS I'm getting major throw of vanilla and coconut. I would certainly recommend anyone to try this if they were expecting more vanilla out of snake oil because THIS is what I've been expecting and now that I've found it I only have a few more days left to order more . Ahhhh This is so nice. It really smells like tea! When I first put it on I noticed something lemony and fresh but then after a moment of being on my skin the magic happens and I get a fresh breeze of tea. It's like I'm in a tea field sitting on a freshly dried comforter holding a lemon and then wind picks up blows the herbally goodness all around me. But then it goes poof I slathered it on my skin and hair and on my turtleneck but it still is very soft and faint. Makes me sad. Still I might get a bottle because I get wafts when I walk sometimes.

Wow!!! I am in The first time I tried this I got an EXTREME headache but that could just be because I tried on about six other scents at the same time Anyhow- this is a beautiful scent! The sweet pea amps like crazy on me but there's something else that smells like incense- the sandlewood I imagine. Then the soft vanilla joins the sweet pea and turns into the sweetest pink scent with just a hint of tang and powder. When the scents all blend together when dry it reminds me of an Alice In Wonderland incense I used to burn when I was in highschool. Final thoughts: this is a beautiful, girly scent with a kick. It sweet enough to make my teeth ache ( in a good way though!) but not overpowering. I get very good throw with this and it seems to be pretty long wearing.

Let me start by saying that I looooove Alice In Wonderland. It's one of my all time favorites. I also love many of the mad tea party scents but this one just...went wrong. As soon as I put it on my skin it turned into burnt rubber. I'm not sure which note did it but I think it might be the pepper. After awhile it calmed down to burnt rubber tea which was not much better I wanted to love this darnit!

I'm sold. The first time I tried boomslang I was so disappointed as the chocolate faded so fast and just left snake oil (which is not my favorite unless mixed with something else). BUT I waited a few weeks and tried it again and ALL DAY I could smell spicy, dark, chocolatey heaven I did roll it in my palms the second time so maybe that did the trick? I'm praying to the BPAL gods that the chocoloate note doesn't fade much with aging as this is a fairly new bottle. Sigh, with all of these wonderful scents I fear I will be a very poor girl in a few months...

Wow- this scent is very unique from the others I've tried! I'm not much of a floral person but I love the juicy purple, almost tart scent of this. It's very dark and rich without being sickening and while I can't smell it constantly, I get nice whiffs when I move. When I first put it on it reminded me of when I was a teen- I finally figured out why: it's just like a fairy perfume I got from Hot Topic when I was younger. I love this scent and so does my hard-to-please BF who smelled my neck and said "mmm." This calls for a bottle! Emoticon rating:

This is a nice clear, refreshing floral. It's a little bit biting and sharp at first but it calms down the longer its on. The throw isn't bad but it tends to stay close. Thankfully I don't smell the rose. It even warrented a comment from my BPAL neutral bf who said " it's pretty and smells like an expensive perfume."

In the bottle: lovely deep, dark chocolate Wet: Amber begins toying with and lightening the chocolate to a light brown with a strange dusty scent (immediately reminded of the scent of old people *sigh* thank alot guys lol). After a while: For the beginning dry stages I do smell a weird playdohish, wet fur fragrance but then after about 2 hours, it turns into the most beautiful hot chocolate/brownie scent. I get whiffs of gorgeous, natural foody goodness that is making my tummy growl! Conclusion: While I love the drydown, I'm not so sure I can deal with the yucky initial stages. Will have to age a bit and test again.

In the bottle: Very Very buttery- alot like Hesues (sp?) De Santos. Wet: Butter disappears and a spicy cinnammin starts amping up. Dry: Spice softens a little into a more sugary cookie scent. I agree with everyone else who says it's calming. This is a great Yule because it makes me think of drinking spiked eggnog while eating warm snickerdoodles

Wow- my first review!!! I wish I could say that I knew what this smelled like fresh- my bottle was recieved from someone who already had it for 2 years. In the bottle: It smells sharp and clean but with a hint of spice beneath. Wet: Still clean but the spices are starting to pick up and I smell snake oil! Dry: A spicy vanilla throw. I love this scent!!! It's very classy! I am a snake oil hater (ducks) but I love the spiciness I get from this. I'll have to do an experiment by buying a new bottle and comparing before the carnival leaves
