Where is my order? What is Click N Ship? How long does this take?
nefta replied to Snow White's topic in BPAL FAQs
Same thing happened to me as well, placed an order on 30-Jan-15 and got an email notification the same day regarding the order being processed. I got an identical email confirmation on 20-Feb-15 about my order being processed. The status "processing" has not changed on the main BPAL website, though. -

I get sweet sandalwood and a herb-y scent. When wet on skin, I'm not sure why but the scent becomes cloyingly sweet (?!). Very prominent cedar, but more sweet than woodsy. After 5 hours, the scent has dampened down quite a bit into a prominent cedar / sweet-wood kind of smell. I'm not sure how to put this. Not my idea of a meditative scent, unfortunately.

In bottle: Milky vanilla, it actually smells good! When dried, I think I smell coconut. Its actually quite a foody smell, but theres a hint of floral which kind of lessens it a little. Not sure if I'm smelling sweet pea or cherry blossoms - or both. Quite liked this blend - bought it blind with a few others and this is one of my favorite.

Finally officially tried this after getting this before the New Year! Color of oil: Copper color. In bottle: Vanilla sweet and some sharp woodsy scent Wet on skin: Vanilla and incense? Dried on skin: Woodsy-incense scent, warm. I would like to believe there is a hint of vanilla somewhere, but my boyfriend said it smells like wood with a hint of spiciness, seems to be the oudh. Amazing this is that after taking a shower, the scent got more vanilla-ish and faint. I really like this! So glad I bought a blind bottle of this.

My favorite scents from BPAL so far. It turns into a dreamlike floral-vanilla for me, which I love a lot. Unfortunately it doesn't stay for very long. There's something about the vanilla and jasmine/gardenia/verbena here. I can't differentiate the floral notes very well, please forgive!

In imp: Sweet almond? Wet on skin: Still almond, becoming a headache. Dried on skin: Almond-death note gets amped up. Unfortunately this didn't work for me ):

I second Pele! I got a frimp of it when I ordered from the lab, it smells very fresh floral. I would also recommend Viola too, cause somehow it turns floral on me.

This didn't work for me ): In the bottle, it smelled a lot like embalming fluid - lemony clean. When dried on my skin, the violet becomes more apparent. No tea at all. The violet-citrus duo amped and gave me a headache ): A big-miss for me, sadly.

The Snow-Shoe Goddess, Giantess, the Norse embodiment of winter. Frost-rimed winter berries, crisp pine needle, and a slush of bright snowy notes. My first full bottle Yules. In bottle: Mint and pines (didnt like it much), some berries hiding but very faint Dried down: Pine disappears to the background and the berries become much more prominent. After a while, I kept smelling something like vanilla-berries! Staying power: I had to slather quite a lot, lasted about 4 hours or so. Definitely not as powerful as O or Snake Oil.

Got a decant through angelamaria and her lovely fairy who got the NYCC exclusives. Bottle: Sharp honeyed floral, probably the patchouli. Spicy. Dried: When first applied - sharp spicy leather, personally, I couldn't withstand this one. After a while, the leather becomes softer and mixed with honey, but still strong. Vanilla barely there. I couldn't pick out the sarsaprilla and patchouli, but I'm guessing both makes the leather appear spicier when I first applied. After ~3 hours or so, the leather softens again, I quite like this stage. Vanilla is more prominent with the leather and honey. Verdict: Pretty interesting as its my first leather blend, never expected this to work nicely on my skin. Definitely looking out for other leather blends next time. But I don't forsee myself reaching out to this very often.

Just got this from a circle and I'm glad I got these exclusives. In the bottle it smelled like roses - scary, IMO. But when dried on skin, it turned powdery and musky with a very apparent rose. This worked very well for me because I don't like rose scents up front and prefer it to be "blunted" by other notes. This kinda smells like rose talcum powder somehow.
