Wet: Honey!!!! Just dry: The honey is all gone. Literally evaporated. There's a very pleasant citrus, more lemon than orange on me. Dry: Boozy blackberry.
-
Wet: Harsh balsam and wax. Dry: The wood is warm and mellow now. It's very cozy. I think I'd like it better as an air freshener than a body smell unless I was doing costuming. #BPALphabetAUG20
-
Wet: A little bathroom cleaner at the outset but primarily a very bright juniper scent. Dry: Same. #BPALphabetAUG20
-
Wet: Bitter and acrid. Just dry: A bust of flowers and sweet smoke. Dry: Orange rind and sweet smoke. #BPALphabetAUG20

Wet: I thought I was getting cherry Coke syrup first. This smells like the Bottle Cap candy from the 80s. Specifically cola or rootbeer. Dry: It's tingling so there's definitely the lab's cinnamon in there. It's like taking the lid off a glass candy jar of Fireball candy or those giant cinnamon bears that's been in a warm room. #BPALphabetAUG20

Note: decanted AUG17 Wet: Lily out in front. Dry: The rose comes in gently at first before it all turns in to a very delicate and expensive soap. #BPALphabetAUG20

#tournamentofunderdogs Wet: Something sharp came screaming to the surface, like a harsh fresh cut grass. Just dry: chocolate and orange, like that candy ball you smash around Christmas to get the segments to come apart. Dry dry: The chocolate has done the dreaded shift to baby powder on me. Verdict: This is probably a good scent for anyone the lab's usual chocolate note works on.

Wet: Grape Kool-aid and something earthy/seedy. Dry: Sweet and dirty in a good way. Dry dry: Pixy sticks and incense. I'm not sure how I feel about it. #BPALphabetAUG20
-
Wet: Just got a mouthful of wet tropical flower bouquet. I was smelling myself but I could taste that. Dry: Smoke. I assume this is the tobacco leaf. Flowers fade out gradually. Sweet rum comes in. Dry dry: Rum and done. #BPALphabetAUG20

Wet: Dry green herbs with some wood. It's not overwhelming. Dry: Rose sneaks out. It's not heady or sweet, like it might be on it's last legs and drying out, too. This blend is surprisingly chill? Like, in the wrong hands this blend could've been crass and obnoxious. It's elegant without being haughty. #BPALphabetAUG20

Wet: The woods in this went "Off with her [nose]!" Dry: This is sweet and fruity. I'm enjoying that the dark fruits aren't cloying. #BPALphabetAUG20 #tournamentofunderdogs

Wet: The prostitute's perfume note is very big and upfront on my skin. I have this as an imp and used the wand for a single swipe on my wrist. This came out like I'd walked through a perfume cloud someone left several minutes before. Semi Dry: The salt and aquatics arrive. Dry: Spicy wood. This layer of the smell is hanging tough after a couple hours post application. #BPALphabetAUG20

Wet: Soap. Specifically, the solution for blowing bubbles and a little sweet. Dry: Still sweet and soapy. This disappeared from my skin in less than two hours. #BPALphabetAUG20

This one is not for my skin. I smell like someone poured sour oil with a whiff of rose in the classroom pencil sharpener. #BPALphabetAUG20

Kelp and salt out of the gate. I need a beach house that smells like this when I grow up. The patchouli works with the sandalwood on me and doesn't give the dirt/funk smell.
-
This smells like straight jasmine on me and I'm absolutely here for it. Oddly sensual.
-
I think my imp may be aged. Pretty sure I got it as a frimp. Wet: I smell like a girl! Whatever that was before the flowers came in just reeked of "female." Just dry: Lemon and mint zipped in and out as quickly as they arrived. Dry dry: Flowers, tea, and wood are upfront but leather is lurking as a most alluring supporting player. It's not in your face SMELL ME I'M SEXAY leather. This is more that smell might be my bookshelf....or it might be something a bit more hands on but I'm classy and will never tell. I. Like. This.

Wet: Bitter citrus party, table of 1. Dry: Trix or some unmarked hard yellow/orange candy from a crystal dish I've had at my grandmother's house as a kid. L wrist is all citrus pith. R wrist is more mellow and sweet.

I put this on before I read the notes. I was expecting it to have a heavier chemical smell so I was pleasantly surprised. Wet: Lemon. Kind of dry: lemon and tea with this vaguely minty/herbal green action. I'm guessing it's the aloe rather than its juicy insides. This lasted longest. By the time it was dry dry, it was gone entirely.
-
This broke my heart a little upfront: the florals that came out first disappeared so fast! Flowers gave way to smoke, which in turn became the heaviest thing I think I've ever smelled. And then all of it was gone. It's weirdly sexy but I'd liken it to being something you were told was "too adult" for you to wear as a tween.
-
Note: mine says it's a prototype Wet: Amber with florals Dry: This isn't particularly tropical, sweet, or light on me. I'd say it's still primarily amber with orchid, lily, and geranium.
-
Wet: pencil shavings Dry: Spicy wood. Heavy with a faint edge of something antisceptic (think Pine Sol or eucalyptus) before it dries down in to a softer version of itself with a whiff of gentle incense.
-
This was all dark chocolate and red fruit on me. I wouldn't call it wine but it could potentially be a grape. There was definitely a sweet alcohol note (probably the rum).
-
Patchouli and chocolate? The vaguely chocolate note goes away, so I'm left with patchouli and musk. I don't think this is a keeper for me.
-
My skin does not like this right now. Wet: Red Nyquil. -blinks- Dry: ..pineapple and strawberry and smoke? Mostly smoke now. The bursting fruity bits are like the dust in a Juicy Fruit wrapper now. I don't think it likes me. I'll have to try again in a week.
