I feel bad saying this, but Hades smells like generic perfume to me. Sort of old, stale, generic perfume. I don't know what else to say about this.

This one smells so much better in the imp than it does on me. On me I get dry sandalwood and that's about it. My skin sucks up everything that was interesting in the imp. oh well.

I really had high hopes for this one. On my skin it is really unimpressive. It's barely there and boring. I guess I just expected something with a little more oomph. I don't get any spices at all, just a bit of stale amber. oh well. It does have layering potential for me though. we'll see.

I can't yet report on the voodooness of this oil, so here's what it smelled like to me... spices, cinnamon, something sweet, something nutty. It's dry and foody. There is also a tiny bit of wood in here. cute roommie review- it's better than most. ETA: Later he said that he really liked it.

wow. It is very much bitter almond. It's a little astringent at first. The myrrh starts to come out and mellows it down. Mmm After it is dry the myrrh comes out a whole lot more. I love bpal myrrh. If you like myrrh, you will like this. I think I will have to get more of this.

mmmmmm sweetness. This reminds me of a face wash I had in the eighth grade. I loved the way it smelled. I would've guessed that there is some gardenia in here, but it isn't one of the notes. The pear comes out a little later. It changes on my skin and gets a little bit chemical smelling. I wish it stayed more like the beginning on me. After a while it gets slightly buttery. Strange

mmm fruit! I really like this. It is so simple, but smells so good. I wish it lasted longer. It is juicy, tangy, and sweet mandarin and fig. mmmmm I need more.
-
Starts out very dry. It is deep and dark, probably due to the vetiver. The rose isn't jumping out at me like it usually does in blends. I like what I'm guessing is the cactus flower notes. It faded a bit fast on my skin. Overall, nice, but not something I'd wear much.

very masculine. It gets better as it dries on me. It is herby and a bit soapy. A little citrus comes out later. The jasmine isn't going weird like it usually does on me. I think the other notes are balancing it out. Don't know how much I'd actually wear it.

mmm This is really good. It's deep and layered. I could see wearing this myself or slathering it on the boy. It's a little sweet, incensey, resinous, and just plain mmmmmm.

This is a barely there soft scent. There has to be vanilla in it. It is doing a weird vanilla plastic thing on my skin. No surprise there as almost every bpal vanilla does this to me. The weird note is all I can smell now. Oh well

Not sure where it's coming from, but my first impression of anathema is . . . peanuts. I can't figure it out but something is just not working on me.
-
Wow I really like this one. It is a sweet, fruity floral. When I saw descriptions of jasmine, I thought it wouldn't work on me, but I'm not getting any weird jamine gone awry notes. This is going to make a good summer scent.

The deepest, darkest point in a shadow; the area contained within the shadow of an eclipse. East African black patchouli, cedarwood, vetiver and a dribble of cinnamon. Umbra is very dark, dry, and woody. I really like the combo with the cinnamon. It's a bit too much cedar for my tastes.
-
The myrrh keeps the jasmine from totally taking over. It is still a bit strong and weird on my skin though. Before that happened, it was very pretty and orangey and floral. oh well

This is much warmer and sweeter than I expected it to be. It's kind of heavy. Floral for sure. It's very nice. I'm pretty sur I'm getting amber in with the flowers.
-
Yum wow. This is really does deserve all the raves. I see this as being unisex. It's definitely worth a try. It's lemony, musky, sweet tea.
-
I'd definitely say that this is a masculine scent. I like it a lot. It has so many layers. It starts out more citrusy, then the leather comes out. Mmm a good, clean smelling man scent.
-
So pretty! It makes me feel girly. Mmm a nice, light, sort of sweet floral. Very nice.

Bottled gloom is right. The name really fits this scent. I like myrrh, but the opium is too heavy for me. It gets more floral as it dries on me. I probably wouldn't wear this much just because it isn't really my style.

I get a warm, sweet, spicy, incense from this. I get a tiny bit of the plum, but it is mostly just the sweetness. This doesn't smell especially dry to me like I expected it to. There's a little juice and some sugary booze mixed in with the floral and incense. Very nice.

This one didn't start out as roses straight away. It was clear and green at first. Very clean. Maybe something like aloe. Then on my skin the roses amped up. It is very pretty and nice. I like this one a lot.

Yay! I finally got to try this and I love it! It is very warm and tasty. I get the brown sugar and the fruit and mulling spices with something softer mixed in. The softness is probably the florals. My friend smelled it on me and said I smelled like a holiday. When I told her what it was called she said, "ahhhhh." I wish it stayed as stong on my skin as it does in the beginning. It fades a lot. This is one of my new favorites.

I think that this might be better on a guy or just someone else other than me. I get mostly black tea and mint. It is very cool and dark smelling. I probably won't use this much except maybe on too bright, too hot, summer days.

mmmmmmmmm I was afraid that the sweetpea and sage would do something like aeval did on my skin. But they didn't! It didn't change very much at all on my skin. It is so pretty and springy. It is light yellow-green and pink. It is sweet and floral with a bit of light greens. It does fade a bit on my skin. I must get more!
