This is totally what I wanted. Needed. I've been looking for something that could remind me of Talvikuu, since it's one of my absolute favorites. I found it! In the bottle, it's snow, soil, and something resiny. Once on me, it actually remains true to the first whiff. How strange is that? My skin morphs everything! Once it dries, it settles into something deeper, perhaps the myrrh. No mint, per se, more pine.

No pine-sol for me! In the imp, it was lightly evergreen, mainly woodsy with a tart-sweet berry. Once on, it calmed down to a sweet evergreen. Once dry, it's woodsy and sweet. Yum.

Patchouli, oh my god. Mixed with the cinnamon, this became something too much for my poor little nose to handle. The throw on this, thanks to the patchouli and cinnamon, was huge on me. I got no cedar. Hrumph.

To me, this was sharp and green. Once on me, it went more green, and the sharpness mellowed out a bit. The green of it downplayed the floral, which is nice for me, who amps florals like no tomorrow. While it's nice, it's not one I'd invest in a bottle of.

Why doesn't my skin love this scent? I read all the apple reviews, and I had high hopes. Alas, no apple for me. I ended up with something that smelled vaguely like a cleaner I once used to polish a floor- I think it's the oak that's turning funny on me.

Imp: YUM. I can smell the vetivert, which is probably one of my favorite notes. On me: Hello, sandalwood! How are you? The vetivert and sandalwood are friends on my wrist. Love. Dry: The lemon comes out a bit more upon drying, but for the most part, this remains true to what I smelled in the imp. Happy me! It's not a lemon-cleaner scent, which is what I was terrified of.

I wouldn't say so much "nail polish remover" as "really strong soap". Sigh. I honestly wanted to like this. In imp: Yikes. There's my soap. Bitter, bitter soap. On me: Please morph. Please please please. Hay? Prairie? Burning, even? Later: Never got any of the listed notes to come out on my skin. Stupid skin chemistry. I end up with acrid-soap-wrist. *sigh*

Hello! I've got a kinda silly question. Are "On Darkness" and "Darkness" the same perfume? I've tried Googling this, but it's no help. I'm hoping you smart and wonderful members can help me! Thanks a ton.
