Original Source lemon tea tree shower gel is amazing to wash stuff off with, and I'll second the baby wipes for quick removal, rather than complete-like when you put something on and instantly go arrrghhhh...nooooo, then you just swipe it of with a wipe! You may need to wash afterwards still. I also try not to put on much of a new scent in case it turns on me.

Finding BPAL blends similar to Dior perfumes....

Oh my goodness! I knew Faiza reminded me of something. My friend's mother used to wear it, but I could never get what it was it reminded me of, til now. -
Looking for a BPAL that Resembles a Favorite Perfume
cinnamonster replied to Ina Garten Davita's topic in Recommendations
I'm probably never even going to find someone who remembers this, but I want something that smells like Smell This "Fluffy Pillow". I only ever managed to get one roll on bottle before they got rid of it and replaced it with the inferior "Fresh Towels". I can dream! -
BPAL for fancy, elegant and formal occasions

How about Haloes? I find it calming and I've not met anyone yet who didn't like it. -
It's an interesting theory, but I also must be an anomaly (seems to happen to me with a lot of theories!) as I tend towards anxiety, and perfume can last and last on me. Maybe some people just are able to smell it better on themselves than others? Or the theory could have more to do with body temps? Hotter people cause more evaporation? I tend to have a lower than average body temp. Anyone else? In answer to the original question, I turn the bottle upside down with the lid on, remove the lid, and shake(not touching lid to skin) out a drop/two, not much anyway, and that avoids contamination and also does both wrists. I do not put bpal on my neck after an OW, it burns, it burns incident the other day! I'd originally tested everything on my wrists, but this was something I was keeping forever and wanted a little extra power to, but fine on wrist, burning on neck

This has promise for a second in the imp, I really like the individual notes of this, but then BAM fenugreek. Ew...why?? On my skin...I am the fenugreek woman. Bleh. What is wrong with me??

Not just me then with the violets! On me this is a very freshly cracked coconut (not at all sugary or suntan-y) and violets, no hazelnut and a good four hours til there's any white musk, which suits me fine. This could become an everyday favourite for me. Thanks to the lovely Ifinena for the frimp of this...you're a mind reader, clearly!

Wet: Dove soap Dry:Dove soap hours later:Dove soap This is truly extraordinary, I never experienced another blend that did not mutate in any shape or form on me before. I happen to like the smell of Dove soap but I don't think I would buy it as an oil. I might put in a drawer on some fabric as a drawer scenter though as i like the clean-ness of it.

Bottle: A rich smooth chocolate and lavender. Mmm. Wet: Hint of pine? Quickly burns off into a snuzzly chocolate smell Dry: Chocolate Dry after one hour: chocolate with a hint of clary sage, still lovely, not masculine, but I would like to smell this on a man, or me. It's very very moreish. I don't think this has much throw, but you'd want to get close to someone wearing this anyway In summary, this is kind of like Ms. Angel and Mr A*Men wanted a baby but decided instead to adopt a cute little chocolate labradoodle.

In the bottle I get a strong sense of DARK GREEN, yes in capitals! Also crushed rose stems. On my skin I get hits of something which makes my nose burn a little inside, I'm really struggling to describe this one, what I think is caraway, tiny wafts of orange and more greenery. Later as it dries right down I get a softer more incensy smell to this which I love. But oh no...hours later I keep thinking "wow...maybe I need a shower?", and the smell is coming from my arm, a strong honey and sweat smell I just can't enjoy as it smells dirty, and not in a nice way. Oh shame. As an after note-when I tried this I was feeling very much in need of empowerment and downright edgy, Faiza sorted that RIGHT out, made me feel much stronger and calmer, and for that I love it. Just not the sweat...

I received this in a bundle of imps as a freebie (thank you!), and it was the first thing I tested out. IN BOTTLE: wow, the only thing I think is "beautiful" WET: ooh vanilla, very strong vanilla DRY: still vanilla with a hint(and nothing more than the slightest whisp) of something floral, feels very familiar I tried this again today and it is TOTALLY different! WET: still strong vanilla DRY:strong vanilla, slightly more flowers, until BAM! 2 hours later I wonder what the nice perfume smell is suddenly, and it was me-not only got stronger suddenly but it was different, warmer, woodier and still totally lovely...mmm...sigh I LOVE this!

Limited editions equivalents in the general catalog?
cinnamonster replied to Absinthe's topic in Recommendations
Spruce I think and apple blossom? Thankfully no almond! -
Having read others reviews of this I can only presume a)my skin is totally weird, and even wish it smelt like Lemon pledge on me, instead of the nice clementiney citrus burning straight off into "eau de dusty bayleaf and six year old black peppercorns". This, on me is AWFUL. I smell no jasmine at all.

Can anyone suggest anything for Knecht Ruprecht, which I should hate, but LOVE, and I only got a teeny tiny little drop I am rationing out to a tiny dab on the back of one hand at a time just to sniff it
