Cotton candy with a hint of cherry and guava. It's a slightly fruitier, very pink cotton candy blend.

Why has this not been reviewed until now? It's been like 10 months people! Or am I suddenly going to break the code of silence on how awesome this is? This lavender, with a hint of ambergris, black currant and blueberry. It's soft, soothing, fruity-fresh. Definitely for all you lavender lovers out there.

Fruity strawberry with a whiff of pink pepper to add some spiciness to it. Sweet, candy, but just a whiff of spice.

Cherry blossoms, vanilla orchid, whiff of something spicier underneath. It's a very cherry blossom scent.

Sweet goatsmilk, baby powder and a whiff of something smoky underneath. This smells like a comforting powdery goat milk blend. Medium throw, average wear length. -
Ozone, cold rain and whiff of amber. It dries down to ozone, cold rain, and a whiff of thunder. This is a nice clean, aquatic. Gender neutral. Very wearable. Good throw and wear length.

Spicy, peppery clove musk. This one was less peppery than I expected. It's mainly a more spicy clove musk. Medium throw and wear length.

Tea, cotton, aftershave and a smidge of tobacco. I think the most prominent note is starched cotton, and its very gender neutral and very proper. This one is a very "clean laundry" smell. You know, its the smell of wholesomeness, parental responsibility, and properly starched cotton. Good throw and wear length.

OH GAWD. This must have some sort of oudh in it. Because this does horrible, not-at-all-good things on my skin. After about 15 minutes, I do get whiffs of leather, rose, and incense underneath. But its like trying to go through a cloud of smog to get to the city beneath. Except this smog smells more foul than what smog used to smell like. But this is what oudh and agarwood tend to do on my skin. So if either of those play nice on your skin, give this a whirl.

I am basically amping up the lemon flower, with a whiff of frankincense, and a touch of musk. The gardenia on me is MIA. Gloriously beautiful white scent with just enough frankincense and musk to keep it interesting. Medium throw and wear length. -
Amber, resins, and a whiff of oakmoss. This smells like old venerable amber. Good throw and wear length. Amber lovers, take note.

Red amber, red musk, whiffs of everything else. I am surprised that the oudh is behaving itself because it RARELY does that on my skin. It's mainly a red amber-musk blend with whiffs of everything else. Average throw, great wear length.

Fresh apples, grass, and a whiff of dark incense. This one is a fresh apple blend. Green. Medium throw, low wear length.

Scorched ginger, glass, black musk. This smells like asphalt, copper, and musk. It's exciting, dangerous, and would be unpleasant if you didn't enjoy it so much. Why is this so charming? It just is. This is the scent of that boyfriend setting your kitchen on fire, trying to make you breakfast, and even though you know that you should break up with him, you just call him sweetheart, cuddle him and his scorched cute butt, and figure that the linoleum needed changed anyway. Medium throw and wear length.

Sheer orange blossom, fig, and whiffs of smoky patchouli. This is like sparkling darkness. It's like going through an amazing Las Vegas weekend, but completely blindfolded, just because someone else finds it delightfully entertaining. It's this sparking fun - with a deep dark core. Medium throw and wear length.

Pom, ink and a whiff of smoky oudh. HUH. This might be the first time that oudh has behaved for me. Which to be honest, is a very odd experience to me. But yeah, it smells like a blazing, smoky red ink. Medium throw and wear throw.

Leather, cashmere and a whiff of chamomile. Refreshingly cozy. The leather and cashmere and very well worn, very welcoming. The chamomile adds to the lulling effect. This is the scent of your grandmother as a witch. If you ever had someone make you cry, grandma is gonna make you a nice cup of tea, bake you some cookies with one hand, and then hex the underpants of whoever wronged you on the other. Because she can. Medium throw and wear length.

Musky cotton candy, which on various occasions I get a very whiff top note of coconut - which I sometimes get with red musk. But yeah, sweet musky. Exactly as advertised. Medium throw and wear length.

Villain Edit smells like clean, masculine cologne. I get a whiff of tobacco and black leather on the drydown, but in general this is a very gender neutral to masculine. I think the pink pepper sort of balances all of the ingredients that can be so dominant and converts this blend into more of a fougere. Good throw and wear length. I think mr. zee_zee is gonna love this.

This smells like black currant and amber. It's a purple, jammy, sort of blend. With a whiff of vanilla to sweeten it. But yeah, purple currants. Juicy, fresh, delicious. Great throw and wear length.

I mainly get lavender, sweet hops and a whiff of violet. This is really a sort of masculine lavender blend. Comfy, cozy, with a hint of an attitude. It's like a worn in leather jacket - but made of leather.

A swimsuit with no padding: the perfect gender-amphibious look. Blue musk and blue chamomile with indigo musk, seaweed, ocean salt, fir needle, and a tangle of kelp. Seaweed, ocean spray, and a touch of blue musk. This one is fresh aquatic, with salt spray and a touch of fir. It starts off as a bit of stormy weather (big throw, in your face) and dries down to a blue musk with chamomile and aquatic notes. It's pretty soft after about 45 minutes. From stormy seas, to a cool blue cove of water. Good throw on wet, low throw on drydown. I'd say decent wear length.

Bitter almond, cacao, black cherry, patchouli, and labdanum. Oddly enough, this smells like Cherry coke and a whiff of dusty patchouli. I think the labdanum, combined with the bitter almond and black cherry end up as a sort of cherry cola type smell, and then you get that over a bit of dusty patchouli. Medium throw and wear length.

So I've used Mercury's Crescent once or twice, and its a very cool minty-lavender blend. It's both comforting and bolstering at the same time. This blend literally is telling you to keep your cool, as opposed to getting aggravated, which sort of impedes you making any sort of reasonable argument. I've used this on days I've had to successfully argue for what I thought were common sense policies. As advertised. Use if you want to stay eloquent, and cool as a cucumber.
