I get mainly a fruity sweet slushy snow note and a whiff of leather on the background. But yes, more snow than leather. Medium throw and wear length.
-
Warm dusky clove, honey and a whiff of what smells like clover. Good clovey-honey. Low throw, good wear length.
-
Honey, labdanum and a touch of patchouli. Sticky honey, with a touch of vetiver and patchouli. Good throw, average wear length.
-
Cool snowy lavender with a hint of amber. This one is a soft glowing lavender with amber. Medium throw and wear length.
-
Soft roses, and lace and frankincense. This reminds me a lot to all of those Lace blends - but softer and more ghostly. Medium throw and wear length.
-
A ton of coconut, almond, and whiffs of white musk and ambergris. Its if Snow White decide to take a tropical vacation. Who can blame her? Pina coladas, beach, and sun. Great throw and wear length.

Goblin Workshop: Yule Chaos Atmosphere Spray
zankoku_zen replied to VioletChaos's topic in Atmosphere
This Yule Chaos squirt smells like.... cranberries, cherries and some incense. It's like a Christmas smell. Over the weekends, my office gets stale air smell, and this was nice and fun to freshen it up. -
Huh, I forgot I tried the original 2014 version. Anyway, yes, very similar to the atmosphere spray - cool coconut almond crisp flowers. Delicious and cool. I think I do prefer this still as an atmosphere scent. I'm sure this will find a good home.

Black Cherry Apricot Gløgg and Sweet Incense
zankoku_zen replied to doomsday_disco's topic in Retail Exclusive Oils
This one smells very similarly to Black Currant Glogg except substitute the currant for cherry, and you get the dark fruit booze with a whiff of incense and spices. I don't get a ton of throw or wear length from from. In fact, about 2 hours later its almost gone. Medium throw, low wear length. -
There are several scents this year that are inspired by Lilith’s performance in the Tempest, and this one was born from the triumphant smile on her face as she held the flowers her family brought for her. A cluster of peonies, carnations, roses, lilies and sweet pea cascading over a bright vanilla smile. Honeyed peonies, touches of rose, lilies and sweet pea. This one is very big peony blend. Huge throw, good wear length. Um, get this if you like peonies?

Lilac fougere, a rustle of silk, and amber. Ugh, I flipping love this one too. Good throw and wear length.

Deep golden amber with a whiff of sandalwood. Delicious. I actually really like this. There's a vanilla tone to the amber in this. So good.

Toffee, rose musk, bay rum and tobacco. Whee! This is like a toffee decided to take voodoo and got splashed with bay rum, tobacco, roses, and pepper. Yup, so pretty much this is voodoo toffee. Eat a piece, and you know, hauntings can start happening. And before you know it, there's red brick all over, you've managed to piss off some spirit, and we're in the middle of New Orleans asking for someone to please please tell us what is happening or how to break this curse, and a chicken is being killed for augury. Great throw and wear length, obviously, because you know this is more than a 2 hour movie plot line.

Sophisticated lavender, whiffs of palo santo. This is lavender as a proper perfume, and not a sleep blend. It's gorgeous and the palo santo peeking on the drydown really makes this a perfume as opposed to a comforting sleep blend. I am really enjoying this and would consider purchasing a partial/bottle of this. In fact, I may add this on to my next Lab order.

Pine, woodsmoke, and a whiff of amber. Very woodsy, piney. Slightly masculine. Medium throw, good wear length.
-
Snow White snow and a touch of pumpkin underneath. It's mainly a slightly more pumpkin Snow White variant. Good throw and wear length.

[No additional description provided.] Frostbitten Dodo is possibly an even more confusing Dodo blend than normal. So I get a hint of snow, but then followed by touches of lemon, sugar and mango. As it dries, the snow sort of melts and I get mango, agarwood, and a touch of red musk. The mango is a very faint overlay over everything, and its definitely one of those that transitions fantastically between wet and dry. Low throw, medium wear length.

Piney-snow, hints of dirt, moss and roses. This one is a definitely piney snow note. Good throw and wear length.

I get coconut snow (more like in Snow White), with grapefruit, lavender and a whiff of red currant. I am really amping up the lavender in this blend, combined with the coconut snow, I get a coconut-lavender mix which is very comforting and delightful. It was much more citrusy on wet, but it dries to a beautiful coconut-lavender. Good throw and wear length.

Cornelis Saftleven Peru balsam, leather, castoreum accord, frankincense, and hay. Balsam, leather, and frankincense. With a touch of hay. This one is a balsam-leather blend. For those that are fan of leather blends, this one is a clean leather. Good throw, medium wear length.- 2 replies

French lavender and white gardenia with Himalayan cedar. Silence is pure crystalline lavender and gardenia, over a base of cedar. On wet, I get mainly lavender and gardenia. As it dries, you get the cedar coming out at the tail end. Peaceful and quiet. Good throw and wear length.

H Weir White sandalwood, black pepper, muguet, agarwood, labdanum, and 3-year aged patchouli. I can see why the notes make this a daunting scent to try. Because none of them seem very accessible. I get mainly agarwood, patchouli with labdanum, and a whiff of pepper. It's actually a more accessible blend that the notes suggest. Fair bit of wood and patchouli, with a whiff of other ingredients to keep it from being one-dimensional. I think you get a whisp of muguet that sort gives a bit of lightness before the rest of the ingredients come to the fore.

Bliss Soap exactly like you expected. It's a gorgeously marble swirled bar with what reminds you of milk chocolate with white chocolate swirls. Smells lightly chocolately and sweet. Good suds.

Red apple, sweet patchouli, tobacco leaf, and amber. I get mainly a sweet patchouli blend with amber, and touches of both apple and tobacco. This is perhaps the least "apple" of all the NYCC Apple 2017 blends I've tried. This one is a sophisticated, sultry, perfumey type of patchouli. Good throw and wear length.
