I got touches of pink floral sugar. It's mainly light sugar and rose, with a touch of both frankincense and mint on wet. It dries down to a rose marshmallow. Medium throw and wear length.

Cold, chilly powdered pink roses. There's something feminine and not quite right about it. Good throw and wear length.

Daguerrotype opens up as a cool citrus-type silvered white floral blend. On the drydown, I get a hint of soapy roses and musk. It dries down to something like Ectoplasm but with slight roses, and I do think this still may have davana in it. This would have been at home with the "Evening with the Spirits" line that BPAL released back in Yule 2014. Cool, crisp, clean white floral.

Nepthys is an Ancient egyptian goddess. Sister to both Isis and Osiris, she symbolizes the death experience, and is often the sister-wife to Set. Nepthys is a cool green scent, much more leaves and moss. I get something almost salty clean from this blend. And something that smells almost antiseptic. As it dries, I get a hint of something woodier and warmer. It's almost like a slight bay rum note that I'm getting. There's been other event exclusives that are Nepthys v2 and v4. This one is just straight up "Nepthys". The prototype was previously reviewed in the BPAL Lunacy Thread New England version circa 2011.

Hathor is the ancient egyptian goddess of joy, feminine love, and motherhood. Per Wikipedia, she was one of the most important and popular deities throughout the history of Ancient Egypt. She is often depicted as "Mistress of the West," welcoming the dead into the next life. In other roles, she was a goddess of music, dance, foreign lands, and fertility. She was believed to assist women in childbirth. Hathor was a watery reedy quality, a citrus overlay that makes me think bergamot, and a silty bit. She smells like a cool river, teaming with life. The citrus makes me think sunshine and summer. I think there's a green pepper in there somewhere. And maybe some squash blossom? There's a very summer garden aspect to this blend. The prototype was previously reviewed in the BPAL Lunacy Thread New England version circa 2011.

Pink roses, vanilla musk, and bergamot. This one is mainly a pink rose blend on me. I think the oudh amps up the tea rose. Good throw and wear length.

Sugary musk with a tinge of coffee. Sugary, sweet, musky. Medium throw and wear length.
-
Red musk, honey, red wine, and cinnamony myrrh. This one is primarily a red blend - red musk and red wine. In some ways, it reminds me to Madrid. Sexy, red, wine. Good throw and wear length.

Dirt, dust, gin, and leather and smoke. This one is a very complex blend. It starts off as much dirtier/dustier, and then the gin with effervescence starts to show through. Its like when someone is grimy and tend takes a towel to take that mud off their face and you realize that he has some amazing bone structures -look at those cheekbones- and that is he is in fact quite a hottie. Low throw and wear length.

Sugar, boozey chocolate, pastries, and nuts. This smells like a hot toddy and pastry goods. And too much sugar. Death by diabetes. And butter. Because let's face it, there's an existential void in your life and obviously the only way to fill it is through eating your way through that entire pastry display. Throw in some booze, because then you can blame the alcohol for the poor decision making. Great throw and wear length. Warning, do not try this before a regularly scheduled meal time. Or a non-scheduled one. In fact, I am off in search of baked goods.

Agreed with Lycanthrope. This is like a piney-variation of Snow Glass Apples. Not kissing cousins, but still related. I get sweet snow, red apple, and pine. There's a bit of rosewood that peeps out as well, giving it a more floral feel to the snow. It's snow, poisonous, and cold. I think the rosewood and pine make it more sensual and warmer, since SGA was just a cold blend to me. Medium throw and wear length. So while not SGA, if you liked that, you probably will enjoy this. If you've wanted to try SGA, this is enough to give you a taste of what that was.

Green floral that becomes distinguishable as grass, wisteria, roses and lily of the valley. There is something darkly green that serves as a base and its sort of murky swampy and oh, that's definitely a tendril/vine that is coming your way .... wait, is this the Venomous Tentacula from Harry Potter? Why yes, I believe it is. Here is a green vine come to eat your soul. Very Little Shop of Horrors. Good throw and wear length.

I get dragon's blood, red musk, and a touch of cotton candy. It's mainly a sweet red musk hair gloss on me. Good throw and wear length.

Strawberry lipgloss on wet, and then as it dries the vanilla comes out but it is softened with a tinge of vanilla. Typically, I absolutely detest black leather blends. They go weirdly chemically on me. This one stays strong and true. I didn't expect to like this, but I did. Good, strong, feminine. If you're into female leather blends or black leather, check this out. Sure, the opening is sweet but the drydown is very leathery. Good throw and wear length.

Loads of smoky vetiver and a whiff of motor grease. This smells like a dirty mechanic. The type that can goes to work on your undercarriage. Of both kinds. You won't come out pristine, but I don't think you'll mind the ride. Dirty, masculine, strong. Good throw and wear length.
-
Bright juicy mango candy. In some instances it kind of reminds me to mango pudding. If you like sweet blends and have been craving a mango blend, give this a whirl. Medium throw and wear length.
-
Cucumber, poppy and blue musk. This one is a soapy watery cologne. Gender neutral. Very clean. Good throw and wear length.
-
Minty green oudh and mate. On wet, its much more of a masculine cologne. It dries down to something slightly smokier and warmer than on wet, and oh god, I think I need to put this on mr. zee_zee. Or at least make out with my own wrist. Medium throw, good wear length.

Beaver Moon is that you? this smells like a strawberry cheesecake. Since cheesecake is the type of blend that I associate with the Beaver Moon, to me this is a smash between Strawberry Moon and Beaver Moon by way of "I Fell in Love with a Floating Brain". Good throw and wear length. Too sweet for me in general, but that's life.

Red musk, oudh, and a touch of patchouli. This smells like a more perfumey version of red musk. Good throw and wear length.

El Dia de Reyes is that you? This smells like dark chocolate, woods, and a touch of nutmeg. Chewy, dark chocolate. Good throw and wear length. -
TKO lavender and a giant dollop of vanilla. I can see why this is so sought after. It really does make me think of TKO. Good throw and wear length.
-
Pepper, oudh, and patchouli. This smells like dirt, and lies, and blood. I blame the oudh. Good throw and wear length.
-
Cotton candy pink roses and honey. This one is lighter, sweeter, and rosier than I expected. Definitely did not expect the cotton candy to show up. This is a light pink scent, and would be great for young girls. Good throw and wear length.

Dark Delicacies Trunk Show prototype from 2010. http://www.bpal.org/topic/68289-dark-delicacies-trunk-show-info/ Also currently available through the Lab's etsy. MMHX1 smells like a smoky cassia incensey blend. I think there is also some leather in it. Black leather. I get a ton of cassia, especially on wet, and whiffs of plum. Having tried MMH2 and MMH3, I think MM may have stood for Madame Moriarty as a CD prototype. All of them have a strong female vibe. This one is what I'd consider closest to what Madame Moriarty actually is as a blend, with the smoky spice (cassia coding to a few as clove), purple/red. The released version has musk as opposed to a leathery background.
