Wispy jasmine and violet. And something else. So torn. I love me some violet, but hate the jasmine although its softer and less cat-pee like than other jasmines. Will have to retest again. Low throw and wear length.

A Violent Fit of Trembling
zankoku_zen replied to annemathematics's topic in Black Phoenix Trading Post
Myrrh, fir, and a touch of mint. Again, this one is a very wintery blend. Slightly masculine. Low throw and average wear length. -
Pine, plum, and snow. This one is an odd mix between the plum/mulberry notes which are very bright and purple, it's almost like they were sugared, the pine which is very present, and then a soft whisp of snow. It's snowy, and wintery, and actually would make a great room scent. Good throw and wear length.

Also previewed here by bheansidhe and here by TTP So I definitely get that high, crystalline note that you get in House of Mirrors, but on wet and until about 30 minutes in, I got a pretty heavy dusty and papery note. It dries to a slightly dusty, slightly aquatic, highly similar blend to House of Mirrors. I'd consider this to be very gender neutral. Rejoice! If you were not around for Carnaval Noir and/or really enjoy high, crystal mirrors and always wanted a perfume that smells like the incantation "Mirror, mirror on the wall", fret no more.

The soap is made with tallow, rice oil, coconut oil, and fragrances that evoke feelings of summer, sunshine, and what we've all imagined cinnas fruit to smell like. Additional ingredients include lard, castor oil, kaolin, iron oxide, and silk. I got a sample of this from someone that made a contribution to the Indiegogo campaign. Having tried the previous Auri soap, this one is much more floral. There is less of the "tallow" smell, and it smells more like warm sunshine, bright florals, citrus. It smells like summer, sunshine, and happiness. It's a slightly more silky than the previous Auri soap. I am really regretting not ordering a full bar of this, actually.

#80 This one on wet smells heavily of apple blossoms and green apple. It's a sweet apple blend. It has good throw but low wear length, and after about an hour it's gone from my skin.

Hit of citrus when you first apply, and then I get sweet vanilla and it dries down to a sweet, woody patchouli note. I mean, Silkybat is beautiful but its not a blend that I'd actually wear much. I think you can find things absolutely stunning and realize that they aren't quite your style. I'm sure this bottle will find a loving home.

This soothing, nurturing healing blend assists in the cleansing, purification, and reconciling of emotional and psychological injuries. It allows you to release some of the pain, sorrow, and resentment that you have accumulated while gently soothing your spirit during the process. It works beautifully in conjunction with Absolution conjure bags. Use with the accompanying Emotional Healing oil for optimal effect. Emotional Healing BO is everything Emotional Healing the oil is. I get citrus, flowers, and a general sunny version of comfort. I got a tiny tester of it, and I just used some as a moisturizer over my heart chakra. I would definitely buy this BO in a heart beat. I don't have enough to actually bathe in it, but I imagine that the bathing increases the cleansing and purification aspects. Emotional Healing BO differs from White Light BO. Emotional Healing is sunnier and has a cleanser aspect to the soothing. White Light's soothing is more like take a blanket, and its OK to take a time out (so slightly more passive). Emotional Healing feels like it helps de-gunkify.

Pine, cedar, tobacco, and a touch of amber. This one is a soft woodsy blend, heavily on the cedar, so it smells like a soft, smoky, otherworldy pencil. You know, if G_d had a pencil, and he was writing something, and you tried to peep at it, and now you kinda have a pencil stuff in your nose? Yeah. That. Low throw, good wear length.

Milk, honey, and frankincense. Actually, this smells pretty similarly to the TAL Milk and Honey blend - but milkier. Medium throw and wear length.
-
Fig, woody rose, and amber. There's a slightly sour perfume note in it, and I'm going to assume that's from the rose oudh. Other than that, I probably would have loved this. Medium throw and wear length. Also, the oil is like a dark cherry red.

Fizzy champagne, airy notes, white rose, lavender and white musk. This one is a very chilly, open air sort of blend. If your skin plays nice with white musk, then you'll be able to get away with it. For me, it always lends an almost citrusy edge to any blend, which for this particular blend works very well. Cool night time air. Good throw and wear length.

Slushy piney snow and a dollop of peppermint. Smells like a mix between Snow Bunny and the snow note in Ice Queen. Which I do love.

To me, Hunger Moon is a softer piney scent, with lots of amber, sandalwood, a whiff of ozone and citrus. It's a wintery blend, but not a Yule blend. The pine is well done, and it reminds me in some ways to a softer, more masculine version of Skadi. Good throw and wear length. I'm surprised at how wearable this is and I'm actually tempted to go find more.

Chocolate and cedar. I get a very chocolatey blend, with wood notes underneath. It's actually a masculine milk chocolate blends. Good throw and wear length.

Dark rich lavender with a hint of oudh. UGH. LOVE THIS.
-
Rich chocolate covered shortbread. Its chocolatey, buttery, and just like a shortbread cookie.
-
Roses, saffron, moss. It smells like a mossier version of Zombi. Less dirt.
-
Possibly inspired by Witches Assembly by Franz Franken the Younger. This one on wet is vetiver with traces of either camphor or eucalyptus. I get a hit of dirt/peat moss. As it dries, a chewy tobacco mixed with allspice. I get a mainly tobacco/all spice (which smells like cloves to me) on the drydown. Dark, dirty, and kinda sexy.

Dark plum, currants, on top of opium, labdanum. Mr. zee_zee approved of the smell. Dark, purple fruits and slithery expensive perfume.
-
Mulled, spiced, red wine. Red wine, cinnamon, oranges, and a touch of honey. Deep red, and winey.

OMG, we've been burning this candle for a while and I have forgotten to review it. This one smells like sugary plums and a whiff of snow. It's softly fruity, and it definitely makes you think of winter. Moderate throw, and light scent.
-
Vanilla black tea with just a touch of licorice. This one is fainter than I expected.
-
White funeral lilies, touch of frankincense and linen note. This smells clean, floral, and somber.

Caramel, brown sugar, cardamom and maple syrup. This is a heavy brown sugar blend. There's a buttery note, and it in general, it makes your room smell like some sort of magical brown sugar maple syrup breakfast roll. NOT FOR DIETERS.
