Moss, bergamot and a touch tobacco flower. This smells like a traditional Christmas smell but turned into a mossy fougere. There is a very present aquatic quality to it, and it veers mostly masculine on me. Seasonal, traditional cologne. Decent throw, mediocre wear length. But on the other hand, if you wanted your men-folk to smell Christmassy without smelling like they haven been rolling around in pine sap, give this a whirl.

Beeswax, slight resin overtone, somewhat dusty. It does have that new car smell, which I know some people love! Good throw, good wearlength.

ERMAGHED. This smells like ham. Baked ham. You know, ham. The ham you eat. It's definitely ham. Excellent throw, and wearlength. Is this what Lady Gaga's dress kinda smelled like, but the ham equivalent?

Oh man, this may in fact be the best Yule I've tried so far. I get bright citrus like orange and mandarin, a touch of apple with a touch of waxiness. Overall, it's a bright fruity blend and I love those. Low throw, decent wearlength though.

Sweet, slightly dusty pine needles. It smells like a perfectly nice pine tree. Good throw, good wearlength. Actually, this would be pretty awesome as a car freshner smell.

So weird. So for me, this starts off as a very heavy whiskey blend. I'd think of it as a guy that likes to drink Manhattans. That burns off and all I can smell is a white fougere cologne with a touch of bay rum. Overall clean, but a little dirty and a little drunk. Good throw, good wearlength. I actually think the men-folk should try this out. It ends up in a much more conventional cologne place than when it starts out.

I get datura (which sort of smells like trumpet flowers)/white floral smell, mugwort, tobacco and opium. It's a weird floral with tobacco and opium. It actually reminds me to one of the "Evening with the Spirits" blend from Yule 2014. Good throw, good wear length. Ghostly white florals, tobacco, opium.

Camphor and pine on wet, and then it dries to a pine resin sort of smell. Slightly smoky. Odd, I would think of this as kinda ashy, actually.
-
Heavy bayberry. With a touch of clove and wood. This sort of reminds me to potpourri....
-
Sweet cranberry with a touch of evergreen. At first I thought this was the smell of bayberry, but I came to realize that it was cranberry.

Sweet minty, pine, juniper and something that smells almost like fresh laundry. This would be a more piney-version of dryer sheets. HURRAY *throws used dryers sheets around like confetti*

Softly foodie. I get creamy vanilla, fig, lotus and some sandalwood incense. It's creamy, sugary but both the sandalwood and khus give it a slight smoky edge. ETA: And on the drydown, I get an edge of ylang ylang which is kinda offputting to me in this blend. It brings a soft floral that seems discordant with everything else.

So this is a morpher. I get the orange and tangerine on wet, but it dries down to a lavender candy blend that reminds me more to TKO. So if oranges and TKO had a baby, this is what that baby would smell like.

Oh god, this is sexy phenomenal. Sandalwood, clove and a touch of amber. To me, this smells like sex hair. I may actually need some. UNF.

Gold of the Heart of that Holy Kiss Atmosphere Spray
zankoku_zen replied to LiberAmoris's topic in Atmosphere
Sweet honey, amber, and a touch of vanilla. To me, this is a redolent, almost honeyed version of Belle Epoque. It's got that same heavy golden light quality that I associate with Art Nouveau or a Klimt painting. Gold, honey, bright light. -
Taste the Cherries and Look at the Flowers Hair Gloss
zankoku_zen replied to puck_nc's topic in Hair
Sweet cherries, touch of snow and a bit of carnation. In general though it was snowy cherries. Nice, sweet, but I didn't get much throw from this. -
Oh god, this smells like Rose Red. Which I can't wear because I really amp up roses. However, as a candle, it's amazing. It's fresh, it's dewy, it has enough of that green stem sap that makes it amazing. And yes, red roses. I honestly need to invest more in BPTP candles.

Oddly enough, I just get a very earthy smell which I assume is the nagamortha, amber and oudh. It's mainly an deep earthy amber-oudh blend. Dark, earthy, amber

Oh god, this is beautiful. It's like a more cobalt blue Temple of Dreams went to a psychodelic ABBA party. After two coats, this is a dark cobalt blue jelly with a bajillion colored glitter sprinkles in pink, green, aqua, silver. In some ways, its the blue equivalent of the glittery orange Pumpkin Spice Everything from the Weenie line. It's amazing, and I love it.

Honeyed nectar and sugary florals. This is a more delicate and sugary version than the Phlox or Passionflower bath oils. Spring-like, sugary delicate florals. This is stunningly gorgeous.
-
Ooof, this just smells like bananas. Kinda plasticky bananas. Which means that whatever the cream note in this one is, it doesn't work out for me.

Red musk, creamy pureed pumpkin and pepper. This one is a very warm, autumnal blend and maybe one of the stronger pumpkin blends. Probably the most "traditional" of the Great Pumpkin hair glosses.
-
Deep pink roses, sugared plums, and a touch of earthy patchouli. Feminine, sugary, and deeply rosey floral. It's very nice. In some ways, it makes me think of Marie Antoinette in Sofia Coppola's movie. That's the impression I get.

Oddly enough, I get red musk, neroli and a touch of dead leaves. For me, it was mainly a musky neroli and autumn leaves blend. Very sexy.

Dead Leaves, Patchouli, Honey & Warm Musk Hair Gloss
zankoku_zen replied to Silvertree's topic in Hair
Leaves, musk, and a touch of honeyed patchouli. This one was really musky with dead leaves wafting in there. I was hoping for more honey, but really didn't get that.
