Pumpkin, hay and leather. The hay is particularly strong, with the pumpkin and leather coming in later. Not foody at all. Smells like someone who works with horses, outside during the fall.

Deep red musk, rose, wine and honey. This is a heady rose/red musk blend. Very womanly, very sexy.

OMG. Freesia, I think you hate me. So underneath the FREESIA OF DOOM, I have this warm woods, amber and peach. And THAT smells delicious. Except for the whiffs of Freesia that sems to overlay it all from wet to dry.... My heart is broken. I got this because of my namesake and I can't wear it. (on the other hand, if I were patient enough, I'd see how this ages....)

Gin and pumpkin! For me, this is an odd mix. The gin is effervescent, but most definitely gin (why hello juniper). The pumpkin is slightly sweet and buttery.... and the combination ends up... ODD, for lack of a better term.
-
Violets, siberian musk, and a swirl of other florals. This is kinda resinous and musky, with the violets being the main floral. Warm, pretty, resinous.
-
Black plum and black currant candy. It's very strong, and in your face. I occasionally get whiffs of neroli and jungle orchid. Actually, it reminds me quite a bit to Morgause, without the strong incense aspect. Very purple.
-
Sea-faring jasmine. I get pine, jasmine and something aquatic. The jasmine is well behaved in this blend, and smells almost 'herbal' and 'very green', in among some river aquatic notes. Not my style, but a very pale blue blend indeed.
-
Ashy sandalwood, hints of balsam and spice and eucalyptus. It was much warmer and sweeter on wet (I am assuming because of the carrot seed), but it dries to a sandalwood blend, with hints of paper. It's an interesting blend, and definitely more of a 'scent' experience as opposed to more of a wearable perfume to me.

2012. Super strong polished mahogany and cognac. It's kinda sharp. Pass.

2012 version is much more CLAY on my skin. Mind you, its bloody clay. Like I can smell the 'blood', and definitely the CLAY. Strong, mineral clay smell, with an acrid note of vinegar on wet, but dries down to clay and blood. And in some ways, it may be creepier to me than the 2007 version.

Oh, oh. This is the same note in Ice Queen (minus berries and florals), the same note in Snowy Mountains (no vanilla though), and a kissing cousin to the snow note in Cloister Graveyard. It's minty, slushy, snow. AND I LOVE IT. If you loved Ice Queen, and loved Snowy Mountains (which I do), this is that SNOW note. ... And now I am off to go and get as much as my greedy heart desires because Ice Queen is hard to find, so is Snowy Mountains, but now there is a blend that I can use and slather and roil in. Oh yes, it will be mine.

Glittering motor oil and gasoline. There's definitely something 'metalic' and 'shiny' to this blend, as well as an underlay of clay, and grittiness. It smells like a gas station. Or when you go get your oil changed. So... yeah, not really a perfume per se, but WOW, its like A GAS STATION IN LIQUID FORM. Which makes it an awesome scent experience.

Spicy pumpkin with maple sugar and licorice. I am really enjoy the scent. It's too foodie for me to wear, but it would be a FANTASTIC ROOM SCENT. It would make your house smell delicious for Halloween. Love it.

Lambs wool (soft apple mash), cheesecake, and PLASTIC. Which means one of the vanillas in this doesn't work for my skin chemistry. FAIL.

2012 isn't like 2007 on me. In fact, the 2012 version smells more like... sweet raisins. Yup. Raisins. There's something sweet, and kinda powdery and something that smells like raising to me. Skin. chemistry. fail.

The 2012 version I feel is very similar to the 2007 version, except this time it's even softer and more wearable. I don't find it overly sweet, but rather a mishmash of white florals and green notes. It's got a bit of a 'cologne' feel to it, and overall seems to be fairly innocuous. Not creepy at all.

Strong opium and cologne on wet, and it dissipates to a wood/tobacco dominant blend. There's a slight 'linen' hint, which makes me think that's the canvas aspect coming out. But in general it smells woody, tobacco and with a slight sherry note overlayed to it. Slightly masculine in vibe. I was very much hoping that this would be a lily, opium and tobacco blend. But I don't think this quite works with my skin chemistry.

2012 version The 2012 version is better behaved on my skin than 2007. If 2007 was plasticky pear doom, this one is much more of a musky vanilla blend. I get the strongest hit of pear on wet, but the fruit note quickly dissipates and I get a musky vanilla. There's something almost 'dusty' about the vanilla note though. Hrm. Very torn on this one.

Licorice and black musk, and a touch of spice. There's perhaps some dragon's blood in it. In general it smells like armored musky man. This smells more medieval than anything else. You know, like the kind of guy that has just battled 75+ other guys in an armored suit, and then he takes off his armor and you can just SMELL him from like a mile away. And it smells like musk, blood, and scorched earth.

Lush, green, aquatic moss. It definitely smells swamp-y. Its got water + plants, with a slight perfume tinge. Not sure that I enjoy it as an actual scent, but probably blended into other scents quite effectively it gives that watery planty smell that I love.
-
Boxwood and rosemary. It's uncanny how this smells like a green hedge. Tinge of mud-damp and aquatic greenness give it the creepy vibe. It actually smells... bloated. A creepy green hedge that likes to eat people. That's what it smells like.

This 2012 version is still baby powder, but more aquatic... which means more ivy. But yes, ivy, baby powder and a hint of wood.

Spicy wood, dirty patchouli and hints of incense. Smelly dirty and gritty, and yes... blood-spattered. Too manly for me.

Attrocious Attic 2012 is very different than 2007 on my skin. The 2012 version is more like a rose/lily-tinged lavender with hints of sandalwood. In fact, it reminds me most to the Mysterious Warning, without the leather component. There's something creamy, almost pillowy about the lavender. So, in some ways like a spooky TKO, or straight up Mysterious Warning, sans leather.

Okay... this is creepy rose soap. I mean, yes, it smells like rose soap... but it doesn't smell like ordinary rose soap. This is the soap that lives in that creepy, haunted house that has been deserted for decades. And on a dare, you go in. You walk through the rooms, and all you can smell is dust, mildew, wood rot (you know, not pleasant smells necessarily)... And then you walk into the bathroom, and it smells like rose soap. It smells, well, almost normal and kinda nostalgic. You know, like the kinda soap that you'd find in your grandma's house. Except you're not in your grandma's house. You're in a creepy, deserted, haunted house..... And this is when you realize, oh shit, you're not alone.... AT ALL. Verdict: The soap that ghosts would use. To smell pretty. Before they go and scare the beejebus out of you.
