Blackberries and honey. Although I have to say its more like a blackberry leaf and honey. I sort of really like this but wonder if I can pull off the sweetness of the honey. I do love me some blackberries though...
-
Cherry, honey and a whiff of herbal florals. It's more cherry/honey on wet, but as it dries some of the herbal bitterness seeps through, tempering the sweetness of the honey.

Hochelaga is warm, sweet leather with a hint of musk. The leather puts me more in mind to Quincy Morris than DeSade, but definitely masculine. It's like if Coyote had leather in it.
-
Definitely furry musk. It's cozy, comforting, slightly masculine on me. I get hints of both violet and licorice, which makes this scent appear 'dark'. Interesting, but not for me.
-
Vanilla musk and lily. Sweet, creamy, kinda sharp. I was hoping for some lilacs, because that would have made this super awesome. Sadly, the lack of lilacs makes me sad. ETA: So I tried this again and on wet, it smells like scented baby diapers/baby wipes. It dries down to a soft lily with a tinge of vanilla. Low throw, low wearlength. I think I'd still keep it IF it weren't for the first 15 minutes which smell almost repellant AND have a huge throw on me. SUPER SAD PANDA NOW.

Sadly with Elf, I amp up the violet which sort of ruins everything for me. I get soft pine, lily, whiff of berries and a whole lot of powdery sharp parma violet underneath some woodsy/barkness. I swear I get whiffs of booze/wine and juniper. Is life everlasting suppose to remind me of booze, particularly gin? That sort of lends it a sort of "bubbly" quality to it. Complex, ethereal, outdoorsy.

Grapefruit rind, sandalwood, egyptian musk. Slight powderiness when it dries. Other than that, golden, warm, exotic.
-
Pine, woods, sappy bark. It's definitely a green, forest smell. After the rain, when you get that sort of dirt/fallen leaves smell to it. Definitely edges toward the masculine. I'd be interested to layer both Ranger and Neutral on mr. zee_zee.

Good is sharp, powdery, and sweet. I like Dark Alice's description in that it is a soft, sweet powdery floral. Not sure if I'll like it mixed in with other things...
-
Okay, this is very foodie and sweet. It smells like a cross between oatmeal cookies and Strawberry Shortcake dolls. It's got a bright fruity edge, warm grain scent, and buttery cake component. Interesting..

Lawful gives me very ambivalent feelings. On wet, it has a very strong oak note. It's woodsy and almost nutty. However, as it dries I get more of the chamomile which smells sort of earthy and the fig leaf and rhubarb, which sweetens the bit a great deal. I think this will be a wonderful layering scent actually. Whereas Evil I feel I could wear on my own, Lawful needs "something".

Fruit musk! And I'd say honeydew melon at that. At least on me. And yes, one of the musks has to be white musk as it has a slight powdery edge to it and a touch of florals. I'd be interested to see how this pairs with other scents, but not loving it on its own.

Sandalwood which sort of smells like cedar, patchouli, and a whiff of masculine cologne. This is fairly manly on me, and very earthy. Would probably be dynamo on the right guy. Hmmm, off to take advantage of mr. zee_zee's wrists!
-
Opium, green tea and tobacco on wet. As it dries I get more of the plum and it turns into a more sophisticated, older woman perfume. Sort of what I would imagine Dior's Poison would smell like having never actually smelt it. Deep, rich, hypnotic.
-
Incense, patchouli and leather. The leather is black but softened considerably by the incense and the patchouli, making it less of the chemical smell of doom and more like the type of leather in Quincy Morris, although sharper. Very sexy. This is what I would have wanted Spanked to be. That said, its a little too smoky and masculine for me to wear.

Steam.goth is a lovely, sophisticated man's blend. Very bay rum, hint of metal and a whiff of cologne. I bet on the right guy this would be absolutely dynamite!
-
For me, Vamp.goth is more clean, green rose with a trace of opium - which lends it a trace of smoke, and just the barest hint of leather. Not my kind of thing.
-
Deathrock smells like expensive hair dye. On wet, I get more of the hairspray smell and its like Aquanet. As it dries, I get orchids and something that just smells like hair dye. Plain and simple. Not my cup of tea.
-
For me, the vanilla is definitely the foodie kind. I get something that smells like cake and amber, with touches of gardenia and orange blossom. Pretty, but not for me.

Oh Giraffe.... you are an odd one. You smell like green planty material (is that you sweet grass?), and then as you dry you morph into what smells to me like anise candies. In fact, at this point you're a kissing cousin to Sugar Plum Fairy - except its not plum, it's anise/licore instead. Not that I dislike it, since I do like SPF. On the other hand, after about an hour, you have disappeared into my skin. Oh, ever elusive giraffe!

I detect red wine, amber, spices (cinnamon or cardamom), incense. There is also lotus in it. It has the same Egyptian vibe as the Iteru scents did. I find it richer and deeper than the v3 version. I can see a strong, decisive woman wearing this.

Chaos Theory VI: Recursive Self-Similarity v7

#462 On wet, there's definitely a touch of grape in this, but it essentially dries down to a vanilla cream soda. The cream aspect tends toward plastic on my skin. Sad, because otherwise this is pretty tasty. -
This has the same tea note for me as in Appraisal. It's bright, fuzzy and clean because of the musk and the lemon verbena. It's somewhat sweet and floral and I think it must be the osmanthus. Not really my type of blend but very pretty.
-
This is gorgeous. I get plum blossom, soft woody branches, whiff of peony and honeysuckle. It's a little sweet, soft Asian floral. Sadly, I do get the strawberry note, which while not as fake as like in Strawberry Moon, is the one discordant note in this blend. But... I really like the rest of it! Fruity floral lovers take note!

Lord Teishin with a Demon behind a Screen

Fizzy tangerine, esp. on wet, and then the red musk takes over and hints of geranium. There's a lot of tangerine, esp. on wet but my skin literally eats it up.
