This kinda reminds me to Tanuki --- I get a lot of lilac from this. It's a nice, white soft Asian floral. It goes a bit soapy on me.
-
This is a sweet resinous blend with hints of powder and fruit (fig mostly). It's got a woody base and part of it veers into soapy territory. If you like resin/wood blends, give this a whirl.
-
I'm guessing myrrh and florals on this one. It's got a vague aquatic vibe to it, and perhaps a brush of lily and sweet pea. Yeah, so not me.
-
The perimeter of Destruction smells to me like... powdery roses and honeysuckle. It's a soapy, light breezy floral. Yeah. The roses are sour... so yeah, so not tasty on me.

Cat-pee jasmine and wet-wool gardenia. If it had some smoky-bacon vetiver or some stinky rose, I think it might be close to my anti-blend.

Smoky Moon 2009: Tristesses de la Lune

This has an very aquatic vibe in my mind... in fact, it's got a bit of that 'fresh' water feel like in Festival of Anukhet. But in this case, the water burns off and makes more of a fog-like impression, and underneath, you can feel the smoke curling about. And yes, a certain amount of dryness comes out. Meh. -
Erm... this one smells like myrrh and roses, although I swear its got the cat pee overtinge of jasmine. It smells like sour incense.

Okay, for me this smells really of grape candy, which is where I can see the wine connection. As it dries, I can say that it smells more like apricot, but it still has that grape candy tinge. I'm beginning to suspect that the sweetness comes from lotus. I find this to be a very playful blend. It also made me think of grape pop rocks. Oddly enough, very childlike and I can see a kid really enjoying this blend.

Oh boy. I definitely get sweet banana cream pie from this, and underneath just a metallic hint with a whiff of blood. Sadly, the vanilla in the cream pie goes to plastic. So it smells like a fake banana on top of bloody metal. Pass.

Hrm. I definitely get the clove (which is good, since I love it), and something that I would classify more as allspice as opposed to cinnamon, and perhaps just a brush of lavender. This is mainly a clove blend on me though. LOVE! ETA: Smelling a little more carefully, I think there's a black tea base to this one. ETA: Got a bottle of this - clove and black tea are the main notes. However, my skin totally eats this up. It's pretty much gone after 2 hours. Not entirely a concern since I'm hoping to use this in TAL workings.

Hrm. Baba Yaga. This is the Cobwebby proto. Thanks for letting me try this (you know who you are!) This is indeed fruity and creamy on the drydown. On wet however, I smelled something like allspice... and something that made me think of gardenias, or perhaps it's magnolia. It's a very sweet blend on me. And I can see the pineapple bit, but I have to wonder if there isn't a touch of lotus lurking about as well. In short, sweet, fruity, creamy white floral.

So lotus on wet to me smells like... nail polish remover. Fake fruity nail polish remover. As it dries, I get more of the bubblegum coming out. Overall, does not play well with my skin. But yes, sweet bubblegum.

On wet, the cocoa definitely dominates this blend --- but as it dries, it's definitely more of a patchouli + leather combination on me, with a hint of cocoa and perhaps a floral brush here and there. But yeah, smells like Aztec warrior.

This one is definitely in the same aquatic vein as Water Phoenix, with a hint of metal throw in. Unfortunately Water Phoenix's water note ended up in 'cleanser' territory, and this does not work on my skin chemistry as it dries. On wet though.... ah, it's glorious water.

Erm. This has magnolia and JASMINE OF DOOM. I'm going to wash this off, cuz I really can't handle this.
-
Okay, so on wet first I smell the almond, and then like a giant blast of peppermint. Having never smelled Corsica mint, I can't compare... but definitely more like peppermint and almond. Love that bit. As it dries, the mint recedes and I get whiffs of anise. Less pleased by this development. I want to get back to the mint/almond stage. Which was delicious. No. Stop. Bad anise. Why are you ruining this for me? Why?

Oh, Emperor, how girly you are! You are basically dragon's blood resin, perhaps a touch of roses, which go to soap and a bit of honeysuckle. In fact, a fair bit of honeysuckle. So you end up smelling like honeysuckle soap. And in no way, manly.

This one was a cool, green grass blend. Asian vibe, but I really got the wisteria and a hint of lotus. Wisteria does alot of strange things on my blend, but not so much on this one. On the other hand, it pretty much just smells like green + wisteria.
-
Ah Kether, you have a sharp urine-like floral smell to you that makes me think you have jasmine and possibly orris as a component. As for your other pieces, I am liable to think cinnamon and frankincense, with perhaps a bit of almond thrown in, as there is a slight plastic tinge to you. In other words, you and I do not get along.
-
Oh Gemini. You are bitter herbal citrus lavender. You dry to some resinous base, which is obviously the frankincense... but overall you are a bitter lavender/resin blend. SAD.

The Concealment of God. Ruthlessness, seclusion, matter without spirit, denial of the love of God. Governed by Lucifuge Rofocale, Prime Minister of Hell, God of Disease and Destroyer of the Sacred. Sathariel is a dark, spice powdery, incensey floral. I get hints of cinnamon, dragon's blood resin (esp in the drydown), myrrh and I think both amber and musk. Amber tends to go to powder on me, so that is a likely component. Not my kind of deal, esp. with DBR, and along the lines of 'church incense' vibe, but I like this blend far better than others in that category.
-
Definitely get a fresh green apple blossom blend, but as it dries it gets more of a 'watermelon' vibe. I think the watermelon comes from the honeysuckle and myrtle. Overall, I find this a light, fresh, green blend. I like it more than I thought I would.
-
Hermes does remind me to No 93 Engine. I definitely get a lot of citrus/lemon blossom on wet, and then it dries to this powdery woody incense blend. I'm guessing frankincense and perhaps a touch of beeswax and vanilla. Hermes is No 93 Engine, just more mythical.
-
I find this to be a bitter, powdery blend. On wet, I get a hint of smoke, but as it dries, it definitely becomes more powdery, which can happen with amber. It's a resinous powder on me, slight herbal. Not my style at all.
-
Honey incense. This one is definitely beeswax and amber. A tad too sweet for me though, but very golden and resinous.
