This is an oil of discipline, duty, and perseverance during hardship. It is an oil of fierce independence, practicality, and gravity. This is an oil that sublimates irrational emotion in favor of cold logic. Use the Goat’s Scapula to increase patience, particularly during negotiations and to understand the mysteries of time and the passage of time. Balm of Gilead buds and absolute (Populus nigra), patchouli essential oil and patchouli root from the TAL garden (Pogostemon cablin), hyssop essential oil and leaf from the TAL garden (Hyssopus officinalis), vetiver essential oil (Vetiveria zizanioides), American hemlock (Tsuga canadensis), tobacco absolute (Nicotiana tabacum L, alcohol extraction of the concrete of the cured leaves), tobacco tree flowers from the TAL garden (Nicotiana glauca), wild-cultivated Huichol tobacco leaf (Nicotiana langsdorfii), black vegetal musk, and ethically sourced goat bone. DO NOT TAKE INTERNALLY. This oil is not vegan. No goats were harmed in the creation of this oil.

Buck Moon is an animalistic, deep scent: an amplification of one’s natural musk coupled with forest herbs, pine pitch, smoky birch tar, cedar berries, dew-kissed juniper, amber moss, deer fur, a hint of clear, warm evening air and a crystalline spark of lunar oil.

Lavender cream, puppy paws, white patchouli, and honey dust.

An unconvincing saddy face: lavender and bone-white sandalwood with rosewater, lemon peel, and cognac.
-
Chainsaw grease and chocolate chip cookies. (The scent is way nicer than you might expect!)

Tunisian amber, French beeswax, jasmine grandiflorum, golden peppercorn, myrrh smoke, and neroli.

Shine here to us, and thou art everywhere: three shades of tawny amber radiating with orange blossom, Italian yellow bergamot, saffron, and mandarin.

This Harvest lunacy blend combines the autumnal scents of dry leaves, mulling spices, balsam fir, pine needles, cedar, juniper berry, clove, saffron, damson plum, white sage, yarrow, and lily twined with Dionysus’ sacred grapes and ivy, a bounty of apple, black fig, and pumpkin, and the amaranth and lingum aloes of Janus, all touched by a gentle breath of festival woodsmoke and sweet wine.

A forgotten lemon verbena sachet and a splash of rose water, neroli, and orange blossom.

The prince had provided all the appliances of pleasure. There were buffoons, there were improvisatori, there were ballet-dancers, there were musicians, there was Beauty, there was wine. All these and security were within. Without was the “Red Death.” Gushes of black and red wine splattering damask rose and white pear, engulfed in thick clove incense. Ton of red wine and clove incense. Loads of wine. This is a very red wine blend. Whiffs of roses on the drydown. Good throw and wear length.

Cinnamon, vanilla, and some musk. This smells to me like a cinnamon vanilla cookie. It makes me smile, and its comforting as well. I have to say that what I am engaging in has been relatively smooth so far this day. I started editing a document that was technically problematic (do people not know how table of contents work?)

Dark mosses, emerald-green cypress boughs, fossilized pine sap, mugwort, balsam, yarrow, and white cedar

Morning glory petals, blue lilac, white amber, gardenia, peony, bourbon vanilla, and strawberry juice.

“Why you are standing at the door?” asked a woman’s voice. Shadow looked over Czernobog’s shoulder, at the old woman standing behind him. She was smaller and frailer than her sister, but her hair was long and still golden. “I am Zorya Utrennyaya,” she said. “You must not stand there in the hall. You must go in, sit down. I will bring you coffee.” Sweet black coffee and a touch of ambrette seed. I get sweet dark coffee, and as it dries it becomes more about the ambrette seed, which is slightly musky nuttiness to me. So more like roast coffee and hazelnut musk. However, the description doesn't do much to really convey how subtly magical this is. It has an oddly Russian vibe to it (I think its the ambrette conjuring some old-timey Czarist decadence), and the impression that what you see isn't the whole story. Not even close. It smells comforting, like grandma offering you a cup of tea, right before she goes and chases down a chicken and kills it with her own bare hands. Decent throw and wear length.

Abre Camino Spring Batch 2019
zankoku_zen replied to Ina Garten Davita's topic in Twilight Alchemy Lab
Abre Camino is like a fortified version of Road Opener, which totally makes sense. If you feel stagnant, AC will absolutely deliver. I have tended to vibe more with AC because of the Tyche inclination. Tyche's Kiss is my absolute favorite TAL (sadly discontinued). -
Pillowy lavender and vanilla. This smells like a souped up version of TKO. It's sweet, pillowy, and lavender floral. I was super wound up last night, and just starting to huff this on hands helped calm me down and settle into a groove so I could go to bed. In some ways, this is like a kissing cousin to a lunar dream tincture I got from Beth ages ago. The tincture is much more intense, like if it knock you the hell out, whereas this is much more gentle and lulls you into sleep as opposed to clobbering you into unconsciousness. 10/10 may purchase more.

This oil won’t solve your problems, but it will help grant you the grit to solve them yourself.
