Damp and dusky. It actually makes me think of a cold, dark basement in a really old house. Unique to my sniffer, but not bottle worthy.

    Phantom Time Hypothesis

Slightly sweetened baby powder ... le sigh.

    The Montauk Project

When I first saw the name of this blend, I realized that I've lived on Long Island practically my entire life and I've never been to Montauk. Weird. Anyways, like others have posted before me, I mostly get dirt with a hint of something sweet from this. I really didn't like this at first because the dirt was so strong, but it seems to calmed down quite a bit since its dried. I wasn't expecting to like this at all, but there is something that's making me huff my arm nonstop. I think I'll need to hunt down a partial because I don't think I'll need a full bottle of this.

    Menacing Ionospheric Research Instrument

Upon initial application, all I could smell was sinus-clearing mint. However, as it dries down it becomes less minty and slightly more florally (more violet than neroli). Unfortunately once it's completely dry, its practically non-existent on me. I think if this didn't contain mint I would still be able to detect it on my skin and it would smell glorious.

    Illuminati Cotillion

Dark, mysterious and ... sweet? Once the oil hit my skin, the incense got this sweetness to it that I wasn't really expecting. Perhaps it was the rose? *shrug* During the dry down, it became more woodsy and a hint of the pipe tobacco decided to pay a visit. This is one of the few scents that I've found out of my comfort zone (fruity and floral) so far that I think I'd wear pretty often! Which is good, since I was going to buy a bottle for the concept alone.

The Committee of 300: Meeting Minutes

This blend seems very faint on my skin; I have to practically put my nose on the patch where I tested to smell anything. When I do this, all I can smell is polished wood with a hint of smokiness. Actually, this is a really nice, warm scent that I could see myself wearing in the winter when its really, really cold out. That being said, no bottle for me, but I'll keep my decant.

The Aurora Spaceship Takes a Dive

Wet, I got a heavy floral with a bit of an aquatic undertone. Not bad, just not what I was expecting. However, as it began to dry down the aquatic-ness that I was initially picking up on seemed to fade away and I was left with a bouquet of fresh magnolias and a single, subdued sunflower. There was no sage or smokiness to it whatsoever. This actually reminds me of a lighter Enchanted Wood Florist for some reason and since that's one of my favorite blends ever ... I think I'm going to need at least one bottle of this.

    Tweedledum

3/21/10 -- Yummy mango and fig! As it dries down the patchouli and green tea mix together to give the fruits a more relaxing vibe. This is an absolutely delicious blend that is just a bit faint on me, so I think I'll pick up a bottle to use with my scent locket. 8/18/10 -- The patchouli and green tea are the first to make an entrance this time around, which by themselves didn't smell too hot. However, once completely dry all I could pick up on was tart and juicy mango .. yumm! Given that it has only been five months since I first tested this blend, I have a feeling it is only going to get better and better with age.

    Bensiabel

This is weird ... I can't detect a single note listed; all I smell is something funky that makes my nose tickle like crazy. I'll keep my imp to try it again in the future to see if it ages into something better.

    Manila

I did get a hint of banana when I first applied this, but that went away with in seconds and I was left with ginger scented greenery. I actually got a pretty bad headache from this, so I had to wash it off quickly.

    Katharina

White musk with just a hint of orange blossom. This blend is extremely faint on my skin, so I think I'll try it with my scent locket before I decided whether or not I need a bottle.

    The Hanging Gardens

This starts out as a very spicy floral, which is weird since there are no spices listed in the notes. I was hoping the fruits would emerge as it dried down, but the only thing that happened was the fading of the spice (smelt like cinnamon). This blend ultimately only lasted 10 minutes on me and was spicy the entire time.

    Jester

This is delicious! Super juicy berries with just a tiny hint of greenery. This is the type of scent that I could bathe in, so I think I'm going to need at least one bottle for now.

    Le Serpent Qui Danse

My skin amps gardenia like no tomorrow and this blend was no different. Gardenia is the main note that I get with just a hint of vanilla in the background. This was really pretty for the five minutes that it remained on my skin; I wish it lasted longer.

    Swank

Fizzy delicious pomegranates! Once completely dry the fruitiness is gone and I get a crisp, spa-like scent that is just amazing. I need a bottle stat!

    Hymn to Proserpine

Mmmm .. ambered fruits. The fruits (pomegranates and berries?) are juicy and sweet; the amber is deep, musky and resiny. I also am seeming to detect a bit of honey once the oil is dry and that just makes it even more delicious. I need a bottle of this for sure.

    The Hamptons

LOTS-O-BOOZE! I also get a bit of fizz from this too. Unfortunately, this faded way too fast on me to make any kind of impression.

    All In The Golden Afternoon

Ripe, juicy pineapple with just a hint of amber and fizz. Drying down I could detect a bit of the tangerine and apricot, but not *too* much. Finally, this blend becomes a beautiful citrusy floral and I love it. There is a definitely a bottle of this in my future!

    Ephemera

Wow, the geranium and muguet are really strong! I was practically slapped in the face with both of them the moment I opened the imp and it didn't change once I applied it. As it begins to dry down the chamomile emerges to try to tone down the intensity, but it fails and it ends up turning into soap.

    Horreur Sympathique

Upon initial application I'm hit with a unique mix of wine, tobacco and grapes; which proved to be quite yummy. The wine slowly disappears the more the oil dries on my skin and tonka emerges to make the blend a little more creamy. Once completely dry the blend becomes pure incense with just a hint of fruitiness. It's a lovely scent, but I'm unsure on whether I need a full bottle or not.

    Bordello

My skin seems to be amping the hell out of the amaretto because that's all I got from this blend. The plum and black currant might have tried to peek in once or twice to give it a little sweetness, but that's it. The throw and longevity of this is also extremely faint. Not a scent for me.

    Grand Guignol

Mmm ... this is delicious! Plump, juicy apricots with just a smidge of brandy. Once it dried completely, I detected a slight amount of greenery alongside the brandy that seemed to take away most of the super sweetness of the apricots. This is really yummy, but I'm not sure I need a whole bottle.

    Nocturne

The lilac seemed to jump out at me the minute I applied this to my wrist. The violet and tuberose, on the other hand, seemed to creep in quietly as the blend began to dry. During the dry down process, the throw was absolutely amazing! It perhaps has the strongest throw of any floral blend I've tried thus far; which is totally awesome except for the fact that it ultimately turned into expensive hotel soap on my skin.

    Croquet

Sweet, soft citrus. This is a very juicy blend with a hint of musk that seems to take away the tart/bitterness of the fruit and replace it with something more creamy. The dry down is absolutely gorgeous and I can actually see myself wearing this blend on those spring days where the temperature is a little bit warmer than usual. I'll definitely be picking up a bottle in my next order.

    Lady MacBeth

Very sweet, red and boozy. As it starts to dry down the thyme seems to invade and conquer the blend; which actually isn't that bad because it helped to tone down the booziness. Unfortunately, the throw and longevity are both pretty much no existent for this on my skin. I'll have to try it in my scent locket and see if that helps it at all.
