I don't even really smell dragon's blood in this, but I do get something a little fruity. It smells like white musk and orris with something a bit fruity in the background. This becomes way cloying on me, and i will not be keeping this. Such a shame that I got absolutely NO coconut from this. I figured it would have the same amount of coconut as Black Pearl, but no such luck

On the fence with this one Sometimes it smells delicious and other times it reminds me of that liquid almond soap that many hospitals and doctor's offices seem to use :/ When it's going good, it smells like a big bowl of dried oatmeal and crushed almonds. I don't detect honey but there is something giving it a bit of extra sweetness for me. I don't get milk either. The thing is, I never know if it's going to go weird on me and it seems to change back and forth through different phases. If this would be more reliable on me I would love to slather it on me after a Lush bath with a pud or marzibain and some snowcake That would be yummy. I suggest everyone at least give it a shot. In the imp/bottle it smells almost like straight almond extract but a bit sweeter and it almost put me off immediately. I was pleased how pleasant it was on my skin...at least when it's not doing the hospital soap thing. lol.

This was VERY bitter on me. I swapped it away. All I could smell was bitter herbs and bitter almond with a little floral action. Not for me.

At first it was a nice vanilla, but a little sickly sweet with some musk. Now that it's dry, I totally get why it's called Antique lace. It actually smells like sweetly perfumed lace. There's definitely an old antique feel to this, but it definitely does not smell like grandma perfume. It reminds me of an old victorian portrait, or a proper lady wearing nice lace gloves and her musky vanilla perfume clinging to them even many many years later. It is very true to it's name, but the description on the website can be a little misleading. It kind of gives you the impression that this would be more floral. It made me think linen and florals and no vanilla...but this is VERY vanilla.

On me, this was all "peach" and heliotrope. The peach smelled a bit more like apricot...but I do like apricot In the imp this was much more complex, I wish it had been the same on my skin. After awhile it goes a bit powdery on me, but it's not entirely a bad thing. This is very pretty, but it's way too light for me. I'd adore it if it were a little stronger with more throw. It also doesn't stick around long. This would be awesome as a body mist or hair mist...especially hair mist. I wish there was one available, because just as a perfume oil this is way too light for my tastes and I would have to slather and reapply...and I really can't afford that.

This is one orange blend that my skin doesn't devour in 10 minutes, so I love it. It's got a unique scent in my opinion. At first I wasn't sure about it, but it's one of those where the first sniff you're unsure but the second one you're hooked. Still, this isn't an ALL the time scent for me. I have to be in the mood for it. It'll probably be forever before I finish mine off. Still, it's sexy in it's own way and pretty in it's own way and also comforting in it's own way. In the imp I mainly smelled oranges, a little floral and a little patchouli. The super orange scent calmed down on my skin, and now it's more orange blossom with a hint of the fruit that doesn't disappear on me like in other blends. The red patchouli is GORGEOUS and mingles perfect with everything. It's yummy orangey goodness with a light creamy floral and a really really lovely patchouli. It's not for everyone, but it's not overwhelming...at least in my opinion it's not. The patchouli is noticeable but it doesn't take the blend over. It has it's place and it stays there.

In the imp this smelled quite a lot like rich Merlot. On me it smelled like a fruity drink, like fruity iced tea, or a flavor of snapple or something. Don't get me wrong, it smelled GOOD. After awhile leather starts to poke through with a tinge of musk. That's pretty much it on my skin. It smells really good and makes me really thirsty, but it didn't stay true on my skin. Stupid skin I wanted the merlot to stick with me. I was also waiting for the violets, but sadly they never showed. ADDED May 4: In the imp this is insanely fruity with a rose and violet punch. This is a damp and cool scent, but it's also quite sexual. I didn't detect much musk on my skin, but it must be there because there is a sexual scent underneath all the merlot and flowers. The leather also starts to show once Wandra dries on my skin. I also smell something a bit smokey? I really don't know. This is very nice. Not something I'd wear often but very very nice. Has good staying power. Ok I just realized that this reminds me of a perfume my mother used to wear when I was younger. That must be where I'm getting the "smoke" from? Because she smoked like a chimney and no matter what she did there was always a faint scent of cigarettes with her even when she wore really nice smelling perfume. So I must be imagining the "smoke" note. This is still a beautiful scent but I don't really want to smell like my mother used to, lol.

I could smell orange peeking out of the imp, along with sandalwood and rose. On the skin a slight honey note peeks out. I think I'll like this, as Bpal honey notes smell awesome on me, as does orange blossom and sandalwood... Crap. Now the rose comes more to the surface and over powers it. The orange starts to smell old and there's something that smellings like bandaids and something a bit metallic (in a bad way). This sucks. The description made it sound sexy as hell. I'm gonna go cry now I so wanted to love this. It continues to get worse every hour that it's on me. Maybe it's because this is a slightly older one I got in a swap? If anyone knows PM me. I really wanted to like this.

Like with Snake Oil, I wasn't sure if I'd love this when I sniffed it in the imp, or when I first applied it. Five minutes later.... This is a much darker, grittier and vamped up Snake Oil. Definitely in your face. For nights when you don't feel like being JUST a naughty girl It's like Snake Oil with none of that vanilla sweetness but with heavy patchouli (But still not dirty hippy patchouli for those of you scared..) and ginger and something else, I do detect some of the orange blossom but I swear I get a little whiff of leather?? Just a tiny bit? Might be just my imagination after all the images in my mind of being SUCH a BAD girl. This is Snake Oil with a whip After several hours (This also wears long into the night...but you might want to apply it not long before bed, so it would wear well into the next afternoon!) a sweetness comes out. Not as vanilla and sweet as regular snake oil, but a really nice and more subtle sweetness comes out, and it also becomes more like Snake Oil in that aspect. I'm totally loving this. I haven't tried the snake pit YET... so I wouldn't know if I could compare it to any of those. Definitely try this if you love Snake Oil and even if you don't. If for some reason you didn't like the vanilla in SO, give this a try/

First this made me feel sick once I applied it. In the imp it smelled interesting. Not bad, not good, just interesting. But for some reason once I applied this, it gave me a bit of a headache and made me feel nauseated. However, 10 minutes later I'm starting to like this. It's mainly the orange peel with hints of the rose and clove. Most roses don't work on me. This doesn't smell badly on me at all and I'm surprised. I don't get much nutmeg and the neroli and orange peel seem to be one entity right now, which isn't that surprising. I get no almond and little to no sandalwood....which sucks, but this is actually kind of pretty. It's not something I'd be compelled to wear often though. For some reason the staying power with this sucks butt.

Um, if this just gets better with age....I am SO in trouble. If I had the funds, I would totally buy up a few bottles and hide them away for a few years. I'd love to try it aged since everyone raves about it....But, right now, I'm in love with FRESH Snake Oil. In the imp, I liked it, but I wasn't sure I would LOVE it. There was one spice that I can't identify...it smelled like strong sage poking out. I thought that it might ruin things. I put it on, and it was pretty strong. LIKE it, but don't love it. Five minutes later, it's turned into this gorgeous and feminine musky vanilla but with a REALLY sexy bite to it! The spices are now absolutely PERFECT. This becomes so addicting that I can't keep my nose from my wrist. It also makes me sexually aroused. And the boy loves vanilla and spices Also, this has the potential of lasting for, like, EVER. I can put it on early in the morning and it's still going pretty strong with decent throw at 10pm at night! ETA - Because I can't spell at 3am! And I've probably still missed something!

O is like nothing I've ever smelled before. It smells fabulous in the imp, but unlike most Bpal or ANY other perfumes for that matter, it smells even better on my skin. O acts like it was made for my skin chemistry. I love it. Only a few scents actually get BETTER on my skin. They are either just as good as they were in the imp or good but different....or much worse. This is SO sexy and feminine. It also layers and mixes with so much! Yes it is honey and amber and vanilla, but it seems there's something else...it's not listed on the notes and it's not something I can name. Whatever it is, it is perfect. I definitely get why this is called O! Not everyone seems to have as great of luck as me with this. On my mom it smells kinda rancid, but that's just her skin chemistry. I suggest everyone try this at least once! If it works for you, chances are your man will be trying to catch a sniff whenever he can...and this wears close to the skin, so it's even better This is my #1 skin scent. I hope I always have this on hand, it never fails to make me feel sexy!

I thought I'd love this Oh well, one less bottle to buy or extra imps to purchase. This mainly smelled to me of SLIGHTLY honeyed almonds and saffron. The saffron soon fades...which is odd, because it usually doesn't. I also expected more spice. Spices and me are friends. No such luck... It's pretty at this point, a lightly honeyed almond, with something in the background I can't identify...then it starts going kinda soapy on me. Not nice almond soap like Lush Snowcake, but it reminds me of this one soap my step grandma or great grandma used to use...I can't remember. It was nice up until this point, but even if it hadn't reminded me of that soap, I still wouldn't have purchased a bottle or another imp. For me personally it's nothing to write home about, but I can see a lot of people loving this.

Hmmm... eucalyptus and something sweet at first sniff. Once it's on the pine comes out. This smells really Christmas-y once the pine is mingling with the eucalyptus. This would be good to sniff right from the imp during a cold, lol. I don't really get orange from this, at least not the fruit. What I DO get is very pleasant wafts of a sugary candy - perhaps a bit fruity, but it's almost cotton candyish. It's definitely not a straight up fresh orange. This is unique and I really like it. It's not something I'd wear out but I think it'd be great as a room scent in my tart/oil warmer. On the fence on whether or not to keep it.. I dunno. Doesn't vanish on me, but goes quicker than I expected, because an hour later the nice candyish sweetness to it has nearly all vanished, which sucks as it had a good throw on me at first. Maybe it really was orange I was smelling, but a candied orange, or something made it smell like candy. Either way, orange disappears pretty fast on my skin.

Another dud for me. I can see why some people would like this, though. In the imp it was so BRIGHT and SHARP, like a blinding white light. Not me at all, but I thought I'd give it a go anyhow. On my skin it smells like washing up liquid. I put this on my wrists and I smell like I've just done the dishes. Some people love that smell, but not me. I'm sure it retains more of it's original scent on other people anyhow and smells fresh and clean without smelling like dish-soap. Hopefully I can find this one a loving home, because it's not even something I'd use for the novelty since I can smell like this whenever I want by doing the dishes by hand.

I thought I had reviewed this already but apparently not. I swapped this out. Lol. I was so excited for this and I got no buttercream goodness. What I did get was a lot of mead and an odd sharp green note and it was odd. And something that smelled like hay I think. This will forever be remembered to me as the first Bpal that did not live up to my expectations and broke my heart. Ah well, everyone has their first

Ok, first of all I have to say that I received this in a swap and I think it has been aged 1-2 years. I'd be interested in trying this again fresh, just to see the difference. Next I have to say that Dragon's blood usually behaves on me and I have a really lovely relationship with most patchouli. Patchouli on me usually smells exotic or earthy in a sexy or pleasant way. Onto the review... In the imp this smelled, simpy put, like blood and some dirt. When I sniffed the imp it was that salty and metallic smell...like how blood tastes. It also smelled rusty. This intrigued me, because I thought it was fitting for it to really smell bloody because of it's name. I was expecting something with a kick of fruit to it because of the dragon's blood. On my skin, it smelled like a dirty hippie covered in blood. The cinnamon started to come out, but only slightly and instead of giving it a spicy kick it just imparted a slight warmth...so it made me think fresh blood instead of dried blood. So now this makes me think of a completely maimed and filthy hippy. Or perhaps a medieval knight in rusty armour that's just had the shit kicked out of him. I love this and hate this at the same time. It actually kicks ass, but I don't want to smell like this. On the upside, once it's been on the skin several hours it does get a little sexy.

I REALLY like this, although it's not really "me". It smells wonderful! It definitely has an oceany or piratey feel to it. I mainly smell the ocean mist, a smokey smell (probably the gunpowder and the leather tinged musk) and I smell something a bit salty. And a bit of sarsparilla. I don't really get patchouli or rum much, although there is a somewhat woodsy smell. My grandmother loves this and she says she can smell a lot of rum, just not in a boozy way. The scent of mary read stays true on the skin, at least it does on mine, and it lasts for hours. It's somewhat fresh, somewhat aquatic, somewhat woodsy...it's a lovely blend. I love smelling it, but I wouldn't wear it often just because I'm picky about what perfume I wear when I go out.

This is one of my favorites. I cannot get enough of this. It makes me hungry and aroused at the same time Everytime I sniff this, I get the urge to bake cinnamon buns, eat them, and then have hot raunchy sex with my man. It's mostly a musky cinnamon on me...mainly cinnamon and myrrh, but yes there is a hint of honeysuckle there and it blends perfectly with everything else. There is quite a bit of cinnamon in here, so just a heads up for those that are sensitive to it. For anyone that loves cinnamon and sexy scents...you've gotta try this!

In the imp it smelled of musky iris with a bit of coconut. Once it hits my skin it becomes stronger, but it's still mostly a floral musk with a tiny bit of a DRY coconut and a teeny tiny bit of hazelnut. This smells a bit powdery, but in a nice way. I'm on the fence with this one. It doesn't last very long on me, but it's nice and feminine. I was hoping for more coconut and hazelnut though

This was nice. It was a freebie, so it wasn't something I'd pick out on my own. It's bright and fresh. I mainly smell green with blackberries and a hint of musk. It reminds me of going to pick blackberries with my grandpa when I was a little girl. It's probably not something I'd wear often. I'd have to be in the mood for it.

This...is an earthy chocolate. I like it, but there's something about it that didn't work well on my skin. I got this because I've been trying to find something that smells similar to Lush's Cupcake mask. This is the closest thing I've ever found to it, but it's nowhere near as good. I mainly smell chocolate and Myrrh and don't get much sandalwood. There's something about this, that makes me think of the mudpies I used to make as a kid. There's a dirty muddy smell to this. I think if you took some mud out of the yard, after a storm and poured cocoa powder in it and a bit of vanilla and mixed it all up, you would have something that smells like Velvet. Velvet is a musty, muddy, dirty chocolate. I like this....it's unusual, but it's not what I expected. I'm not sure whether I'll keep this though....
-
Sharp and strong. There's something metallic along with something floral... and soapy. It's a bit too perfumey and sharp for me. After it's been on my skin for awhile, I'm beginning to appreciate this more. It's no longer as perfumey or soapy, but It's still not something I would wear, not even at home just to sniff. It's also turning more into a generic perfume smell....

I picked this up on a whim. For years I've been trying to find a true honeysuckle scent...and everytime I have failed. This was a pleasant surprise When I sniff the imp, it smells strongly of jasmine and honeysuckle...but not too overpowering. When I put it on, the honeysuckle pushes to the front. I can think of only one thing to make it a truer honeysuckle scent on my skin, and that would be just a touch of extra sweetness. This has the honeysuckle scent down perfectly except it lacks in sweetness. However, when I'm wearing this and I'm outside and a breeze wafts over me, everyone wants to know where the honeysuckle is! A natural breeze makes this come to life. This is perfect for Spring and Summer. The only downside is that the honeysuckle note doesn't last as long as I would like. Once it's gone, I'm left with a faint jasmine scent on my skin. This is GORGEOUS before the honeysuckle fades, so I think I will buy a bottle and carry it with me so I can reapply when needed.

This is a buttery, creamy, milky coconut. I also definitely pick up the shea and it blends with the coconut perfectly. This smells good enough to eat or drink...It's sweet, but not too sweet. It's not super strong, but it really sticks and lasts for hours! I figured I would have to apply every hour or so. There's also something a bit salty and it makes me think of the ocean...Like sitting on the beach with the sea breeze hitting your face while you crack open a coconut or enjoy a really yummy coconut drink. wow...this is delicious, but not too foody. Refreshing, warm and cool all at the same time.
