In the bottle: Smells edible. The apple, ale, and spice scents are strong. Wearing: The scent doesn't morph, and it lasts. Overall: Delicious. Being a bit heavier of a scent, this is great for cool weather. This isn't something to wear to the office, but it works well for going out at night.

In the bottle: citrus plus amber. A more masculine scent than I was hoping for, but still wearable. Wearing: The citrus disappears very quickly, and the amber mellows out. I'm not sure if this is due to other scents coming through more or because of body chemistry. Overall: I love amber and citrus but was a little disappointed at this scent. I'll still wear it, but I won't go through the bottle quickly. I have to wear quite a bit to get the scent to come through, making this one definitely too heavy a scent to wear to the office. It is pleasantly warm for winter, though.

From the description, I hoped this would be heavier on the citrusy end. First impression: floral, and very very sweet. Jelly beans? Overall: This scent didn't appeal to me at all when I smelled it, so I was glad I only got an imp of it. I decided to give it another sniff recently to see if it's worth hanging on to, and this time around, it was nice. It is sweet, but it's an instant mood lifter. More of a warm weather scent.

In the bottle: peaches, patchouli, and amber. A pretty even mix of the three. Wearing: A great scent. A bit too heavy for work, hot weather, and going out to dinner (because of the peaches), but otherwise a fun weekend scent. Similar to Aureus, but a bit sweeter because of the peaches.

First impression: Blueberries! With a moderately perfume-y undertone (maybe the musk?) Wearing: All of the notes blend together to keep this from smelling food-y or too heavy. It's a great summer scent with no morphing. I find I have to apply more oil than I usually do in order for the scent to last more than a couple of hours, so my bottle might not be too full for too long. Overall: The berry scents come out but stay nice and light, making this one an instant mood lifter.

At first sniff, I mostly caught the cherry. Not being a huge fan of that particular fruit, I strongly hoped this wouldn't end up like cough syrup. Overall, the scent was quite strong. Given the strength of these fruit notes, I decided to start with just a little and add more if necessary. The red musk and myrrh tone down the fruit notes and keep this from smelling foody or medicinal. Overall, I'm pleased with the Semiramis bath oil--it's pleasantly fruity, but the musk and myrrh keep it a grown-up scent. Because this particular scent packs a lot of punch, a little goes a long way. I'm happily stocked for some time now. The scent stays on my skin lightly for a short while; I recommend applying the perfume after the bath for a whole day of Semiramis.

At first sniff, I picked up on the fruit. Wearing: The fruit is there, but the red musk comes more into play. There's a great balance between sweet and earthy. All of the notes work well together. The scent lasts all day and does not morph. I tend to stick to lighter scents and was glad this did not smell foody. I'm sure I will be wearing Semiramis often.

CCCLXVIII First impressions: Even with the bottle closed tightly, this scent dominated the package when I opened it, as well as my desk when I set the bottle there to let the mixed-perfume smell of my package air out. This was a very strong, heavy scent--spicy and tending towards a "masculine" scent. I decided this is at least a nice scent to keep on my desk, even if it ended up being too strong to wear. Wearing: This mellowed out nicely and without any scent morphing. The top note is vanilla, and the other notes keep it from getting too sweet. This is a scent for cooler weather--it would be overwhelming in the heat. Unfortunately it's too strong to wear to work, but it's great for weekends and evenings out. Love it! Added plus, the scent lasts a very long time. It seems the scent is so strong because the bottle is filled to the brim, and I probably had some leakage while I was handling it. Just leaving the bottle closed but out in the open is a convenient room perfume.

Viola is one of my favorite Shakespeare characters, so I figured I would try an imp. In the bottle: A bit more floral than I'm used to, but not overwhelming. A nice light scent, and work-appropriate. Wearing: Morphs almost immediately to smell like powder. Disappointing! Verdict: I'll have to get a scent locket to wear this one.

I decided to try an imp of this because I enjoy tea, and I was not disappointed. In the bottle: Smells mostly of tea and is nice and light. Wearing: The peony scent comes out more but without being cloyingly floral. It strikes a nice balance with the teas. Staying power is about 5 or 6 hours--not terribly long, but not bad. No real scent morphing here. Overall: Quickly became a favorite, and I bought a larger bottle because I'm going through the imp quickly. This scent is light enough to wear to work. I don't know what the herbal scents are in this, which I like because it means that I don't smell astringent or like an herb garden. This scent also converted me to florals, which until now, I thought I didn't like. The Dormouse is an instant pick-me-up!
