I cannot believe how much I like this. Vanilla is not always my friend, neither is gardenia, and violet can be iffy. These in combination are really nice. Quite strong at first so restrain is required. The vanilla stays strong but not syrupy sweet like some. This scent reminds me of MAC Asphalt Flower but not so chemical.

Just a little re-visit. This is my signiture scent now. I sometimes layer it with Evan Healy Rose/Vetiver to add a little more mystery.
-
I think this must get even better with age. It's usually not my type of scent being vanilla based (so many of them smell plastic-fake-sicky sweet), but this has become really appealing.

If you are a melon person, this is for you. melon with a little sugar on top. If you like melon, but a little less obvious and in your face, try Twinkle, Twinkle Little Bat.
-
I usually hate melon scents. This was not particularly attractive in the imp. Wet through dry: This is just lovely. The melon is not overly strong and smells natural, not fake . Not too sweet as fruity scents can be. This is a wonderful summer scent. It could be worn anywhere. This may be a 5cc one for me. Five minutes later: I ain't waiting 'til summer. I'm wearing this tomorrow. What a surprize. Luv 'ya, lab.

This smells like a strogly herbal-forest scent on me. Pleasant, but I would like it better as a burning oil than a perfume. NOT a girly scent at all.
-
If you knocked down the wall between a candy shop and a head shop and the aromas of both combined, you would get urd. It's surprizingly nice. It smells too sweet on my skin, but I'll try it as a room scent.
-
I probably wouldn't have taken notice of this, but received an imp with my last purchase. In the imp: Earthy, like a vegetable garden. Wet: Like herbal medicine. Dry: Like sweet carrots and herbal salve. Not horrible, but sweet in the wrong way.
-
This is a nice rose scent that smells like expensive soap or face cream. It's not particularly unusual, but would definitely be a good summer, hot weather scent.
-
This is really not bad..... In vial: Very clean, ocean. Wet and morphing: Laundry with, OMG- yech, ammonia tossed in for extra cleaning power. Dry: Yay! Ammonia gone. This smells like what I was hoping Sea of Glass would be before it turned to cheap bargain bin candle on me. I got this as an imp, gratis from the lab. They sure know how to rope a girl in..... Later: Thiis simply wonderful. I have gone back to this several times. It's just great for times when I need to clear my head. It's reviving AND smells good.

Harlot with the rose/cinnamon makes me think of a femme fatale. Feminine, but HOT!

This is one of my four District scents. I had ordered Emma over the holidays- love it. Today at the will-call I picked up Lulu, Crib Girls and Josie. In bottle: Glorous, glorious boozy peaches and honey Wet: Magnolias comin' in. Drying down: OMG, Dior's Poison??????? Go away and send Josie back in. I hate Poison. More drying down: OK, getting better, but I'm not sure if I love it yet. Considerations: This scent may go weird on me, I may have too many tried-on scents fighting one another or my migraine is playing tricks on me. Conclusion: This is a lovely scent. I like it. If it goes off with my chemistry, that's what my scent locket is for. The District scents are beautiful and unusual "boudior" scents.

The District is becoming one of my favorite collections. I previously ordered Emma and tried the others today at the will-call. This scent is really lovely. It does smell like expensive soap; underline expensive and clean. I love it.

I tried this on at the will-call today. Crib Girls did not sound like anything that would interest me, but I was curious. It smells like honey lemon tea on me! The honey does NOT smell like cheap, fake sugar goo as in so many scents these days do. This will be good during the hot, sour, stinky summer months. It's a nice daytime, weekend at home kind of scent. I'm glad I bought a vial.

This is a winner on me. The rose and vanilla is beautiful-very old-fashioned. Then the patchouli and pink pepper walks in. This makes me think of a woman who appears to be very refined and elegant (powdered and scented) but who barely conceals a darker sexy side. A madam in silk and satin (and who knows what underneath). I got a compliment on it the first time out.
