DAFUQ? I am getting banana bread. Strong fluffy banana bread. It seems someone's dipped a slice in a bit of Jack Daniels. I don't even right now. Definitely not what I was expecting at all. As it dries the booze lightens but the strong banana bread smell stays. My mother has just confirmed that I'm not insane and that it is indeed banana bread. For the record I do not skin test because my skin often hates me. I tested on a strip of sketch book paper.

Sweet, spicy and masculine resins are always right up my alley. I think definitely go The Bow and Crown of Conquest. You might also want to try Sin and Lust. If you can find them I think Western Diamondback or Knucklebones would work well. I also suggest Nanny Ashtoreth.

This is a sweet, soft, spiced wood, with a bit of leafy greens and something that almost smells like really good cookies.

Hmm that is odd. I have several imps and some are a more golden color but none have been floral. They all smell pretty much the same :/ though obviously the darker ones are a lot stronger. Though I do not wear them on my skin so maybe that's why I smell no difference aside from strength. Only thing I can think of is a batch difference. There's probably more or less of an ingredient in there than usual. Kind of like how there's a green and an amber version of Oblivion.

If you can track some down ( the carnival is down at the moment) but Theodosius the Legerdemain is probably the best earl grey scent I have smelled. It's a sweet sugared earl grey. Very strong on the tea scent.

I'm seconding the rec for Dawn:Cernnunos. "Terebinth pine, basil, green sandalwood, fig leaf, armoise, lemon balm, cypress, myrrh, black cedar, and juniper." It's a great dark forest smell which is lighter on the pine smells than others. I get more of the deep dark woods and it's a bit airy. If you want something murkier and a little more earthy Yorick is great for that. "Grave dirt, bone, decay, angel's trumpet, and moldering scraps of shroud: the essence of finality" Black Forest is also nice "Thick, viscous pine with ambergris, black musk, juniper and cypress." You might also want to check out the Rappaccini's Garden section too. As for your fox tailed woman: I think Kumiho could work really well. "Nine-tailed fox demon of Korean lore who transforms into the visage of an irresistible beauty in order to seduce men and lead them to their doom. A sharp, biting blend of crisp white tea and ginger" I also like: Wanton "Palmarosa, red sandalwood, attar of rose, patchouli." Ravenous "Red patchouli sweetened by orange blossom." Bathsheba " carnation, sensual plum, and Arabian musk."

So far in the last week I have recieved 2 oils off Lj that have arrived cloudy. Everything is all seperated and refuses to mix. The odd thing is I smell no difference in the bottles :/ How do you know when an oil's gone bad?

Fresh sweet Honey Dew! It actually reminds me of cold Honey Dew Bubble Tea, maybe just a tad bubbly.

If you can track some down Manilus Hurled from the Rock (Frankincense, leather accord, sandalwood, Himalayan cedar, nutmeg, and violet leaf) from this year's Lupercalia release, is a great smokey leather scent. To me it's a lot like Rivet.Goth with a bit of smokey musk stolen from Brom Bones.

I can definitely smell zucchini, fresh dark green zucchini. A bit of an earthy smell which later goes a little spicy. The vetiver is not as gritty as I'm used to, I find it's a smooth kind. The leather is very light and blends nicely with the vetiver.

o.O I am getting cheese Doritos. Cheese Doritios in the face! After a while, say 15mins or so, it does dry down to a light oatmeal shortbread cookie kind of smell. But up to that point it's all cheese Doritos.

It's Jolly Roger I believe :3 I ordered one recently and was confused when it arrived too, until it dawned on me that the skull and crossbones flags are called Jolly Rogers.

Hmm I don't see Western Diamondback mentioned yet. It's a very strong black leather. Iago was pretty good too. Whip is one of my favorites but I find the Rose tends to be alot stronger. So might not be what you're looking for.

Don't know if you tried whip but it's my favorite rose. The Leather really darkens it and helps keep the girlyness away. I think it's a pretty manly rose personally. OT but I recognize your name from ontdcreepy I be KuroiAisu *waves*

Ok I need some sort of disclaimer here. I tend to write my reviews by what ever pops into my head at the time it's going from wet to dry. On to my review. -Weirdly enough on me it smelled like my beloved Loviatar T.T -Then BAM! dry sandalwood out of nowhere. -It's now morphed to something that reminds me of a dryer smut minus the grape sugar smell. -It's gone just a little warmer and creamier. -It's now a warm, soft, creamy red musk. A dry spice edge but very smooth and cuddly. Hot damn! Brb selling soul for more.

Ok so I really really like musky scents. Preferably really heavy on the musk. But I seem to go nuts for a certain feel. There's something common in Loviatar, Mme. Moriarty and Chokmah. The red musk in these seems to be different than everything else I've tried. It's thick and smooth and kinda heavy if that makes sense. Can someone tell me what it is that makes these 3 different and reccomend me some other scents with this kind of musk.

I am not getting the wine everyone keeps mentioning. Mine is pure latex and Fog with some tobacco smoke. There's something leathery in there which is probably the vinyl. It's pretty heavy on the fog and latex for me.

It's odd though for a couple scents I still see the 10ml option listed. I think cthulhu is one of them.

For me it's Loviatar or Whip. I've forbidden men to wear it around me (so naturally a friend went and got some just to torment me *facepalm*).

I've finally figured out why Man with Phallus Head smelled familiar. It's almost identical to a perfume my nana used to wear called White Linen. Also The Haunted Palace smells like a perfume called Samsara that my mother loves. Now I just need to figure out what Ode on Melanchoy reminds me of. I know I've smelt it before and I just can't put my finger on it... Edit: >O I got it! Bonne bell bottled emotions: Powerful. That's what it reminds me of. It was discontinued when I was a kid... But I could swear...

Hmm don't know if I've said this here or not but Vincomte de valmont smells almost exactly like swiss army for men. Which is awesome since it used to be my favorite perfume long before I got into bpal.

I have discovered the awesomeness that is a plastic straw <3 I take a thin plastic straw and lightly dip (not too far) , a small amount of oil gets caught in the tube, and it goes a long way :3

I randomly got a frimp of Jade gardens. I tried searching it but I've found nothing other than and dead sales thread where is said "bpal?" Is it bpal? I just want to know what's in it ><

I love rose scents <3 I'm determined to try them all. So far Whip is my favorite. It's a nice heavy rose, nice and dark, but not sweet at all. Peacock Queen might be another one for you. Though a bit harder to get. "In dramatic contrast to the soft innocence of Snow White and the dew-kissed freshness of her sister, Rose Red, this is a blood red, voluptuous rose, velvet-petaled, at the height of bloom. Haughty and imperious, vain, yet incomparably lovely to the eye, but thick with thorns of jealousy, pride and hatred" Black Rose and Harlot aren't bad either :3
